By applying the Auto LISP programming language to the design concept of AutoCAD, this paper realizes the secondary development of AutoCAD software. Through the Auto LISP design, this paper implements three kinds of constituted artistic effects for the fractal tree of landscape architecture, namely, plane, color and stereo. At the same time, this paper establishes the fractal mathematical models and algorithms for the landscape design. In addition, the entity model of landscape is built through the AutoCAD landscape design library and the fractal tree is established in the entity model. Through the three-dimensional rendering of plane, stereo and color, this paper achieves wonderful digital multimedia visual communication effect. Thus, it provides a technical support and theoretical reference for the computer simulation design of modern landscape.

In the design of the rise of classical wind hot flashes, how to reference to traditional natural landscape gardening technologies, thinking method and landscape elements, symbol of the new constitutional relations, and into the modern landscape design, and create a new character space, make the classical elements, symbol and modern garden good fusion, create with regional and national characteristics of modern landscape design.

The article analyzes the current state of the issue of eco-design. Using the example of landscape architecture, the use of modern composite materials obtained by processing production waste into secondary raw materials is proposed and examples of the use of new materials in the “environmental policy” of park design are presented.

China has a long history of art of landscape architecture, which is very broad and profound. The ancient landscape designers left us lots of classic landscape designs. How to develop and innovate when using these classic designs as references is the problem that our modern landscape designers should think about. This article takes an example of Xi’an Peach blossom lake scenic spot’s design, analyzes how to develop and innovate when use West Lake scenic spot as reference, and gives the author’s views of the combination of referencing and innovating in landscape design.

This paper presents an integrated method, which is based on the CAD/CAE, for engine crankshaft design. A parametric modeling system of engine crankshaft is established with the CATIA secondary development tools. Taking advantage of the finite element analysis procedure of engine crankshaft strength which is programmed with ANSYS APDL programming language, the parametric loading, automatic solution and result analysis of the crankshaft strength can be realized. Integrating the parametric modeling system of engine crankshaft and the special finite element analysis procedure of the engine crankshaft strength, the three-dimensional digital model of the crankshaft can be generated rapidly. By changing the structure dimension, the crankshaft series design is achieved and the design and analysis can be improved. Therefore, it is helpful to improve the design quality and efficiency of crankshaft and shorten the design cycle.

In this paper 110 female undergraduates in Soochow University are measured by using 3D non-contact measurement system and manual measurement. 3D point cloud data of human body is taken as research objects by using anti-engineering software, and secondary development of point cloud data is done on the basis of optimizing point cloud data. In accordance with the definition of the human chest width points and other feature points, and in the operability of the three-dimensional point cloud data, the width, thickness, and length dimensions of the curve through the chest width point are measured. Classification of body type is done by choosing the ratio values as classification index which is the ratio between thickness and width of the curve. The generation rules of the chest curve are determined for each type by using linear regression method. Human arm model could be established by the computer automatically. Thereby the individual model of the female upper body mannequin modeling can be improved effectively.

The pop-up architecture (or landscape architecture) becomes popular nowadays. Some highlights include annual architecture program such as the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion at Hyde Park, London; MPavilion in Melbourne; MoMA PS1 and Heart Sculpture in New York. Many of these pop-up architectural works have been designed by world renowned architects, such as Zaha Hadid, Rem Koolhaas, Hezorg and de Meuron, Jean Nouvel, Toyo Ito, SANAA, Shigeru Ban, BIG, etc. And many of these designs reflect innovative thinking that changes the professional world of architectural design. But above all, these pop-up architectures were created in responsive manner to the urban community and the community controversially has good response to this type of architecture. In the other words, pop-up architecture is the way the architects touch the heartbeat of the cities, make them livable for all. Ho Chi Minh City has its own types of pop-up landscape architecture, whereas this paper intends to explore in two case studies: Nguyen Hue Floral Boulevard and Nguyen Van Binh Book Street. Nguyen Hue Floral Street is celebrating now its twelfth birthday in the city. Nguyen Van Binh Book Street has just passed its first anniversary in 2017. Both cases live its own story behind the scene about how livable a city could be through place-making by architecture and landscape design. Throughout these cases, we would like to find out how this type of pop-up landscape architecture being realized and become popular in Ho Chi Minh City, and how it is devoted to a livable city for all.
