Elongation properties of car roof interior fabric were studied in this article. The FM02-11 type universal material testing machine was employed to test the static and dynamic elongation properties of warp knitted napped fabric 1,2,3,warp knitted fabric 1,2,pile composite fabric A1,A2,A3 and sponge composite fabric C1,C2,C3,C4. The results indicated all can meet the general standard for car interior ceiling fabric.According to the dynamic elongation, the bigger the deformation ratio, the better the formability.

A new correction instrument of pectus excavatum is introduced which is designed for a minimally invasive technique (Nuss procedure). The instrument was made of pure titanium plates, and finished by machining, surface treatment and so on. The instrument was made up of correcting bar and fixing bar. The mechanical properties of the instrument was measured with electron universal material testing machine, the safety and validity was verified by clinical doctors after being implanted into the patient. Results showed that the mechanical properties of the instrument keep constantly after implantation for two years. It is lighter than the like product, and can lighten the patent’s and the doctor’s operation bearing. It had been applied in national hospitals, and results showed that it was of better biocompatibility, and few complications were found. Clinical treatment effects were satisfactory.

The crystal morphology, melt-crystallization and mechanical properties of poly (trimethylene terephthalate)/maleinized poly (octene-ethylene)/organo-montmorillonite nanocomposites were investigated by using polarized optical microscopy (POM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and universal material testing machine, respectively. The results suggest that the nanocomposites form smaller or imperfect microcrystallites with lower melting point due to the influence of OMMT components and the nanocomposites have increased crystallization rate because OMMT is an effective nucleation agent. However, the crystallinity decreases because of the thickening effect of OMMT in the composites. The nanocomposite with 2%OMMT has the largest tensile and impact strength.

by using connection type I. To get a good welding result is determined several factors, including the properties of material welding, connection type, welding position, and electrode used. In a welding project, there is still a welder that only uses I in the weld IWF 400 connecting iron while the thickness of the material 13 mm. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of campuh against the strength of weld joint connection using LB 52U 2.6 mm Electrode and RD 7018 3.2 mm electrode with AC Flow. In this study using experimental method begins with making specimens. With the collection of 7 specimens consisting of 3 specimens with welding treatment using Camp V, 3 specimens with welding treatment using Camp I and 1 IWF 400 specimens without welding treatment. From the results of research conducted on specimens by making and testing specimens with a tensile test machine Hydraullic Universal Material Testing Machine then obtained on the specimen without welding average value of Maximum (max) 41,28 kgf/mm². In welded specimens with a connection of the V values the average value of the Maximum (max) 39,82 kgf/mm². On a welded specimen with a maximum I knot connection (max) 38,32 kgf/mm².The results of this study indicate the results of iron welding IWF 400 using camp V greater value voltage 39.82 kgf / mm². From the maximum voltage value obtained from this study it is recommended that iron welding IWF 400 uses V.

Martensitic stainless steel (MSS) coatings with different vanadium (V) contents (0–1.0 wt%) by microalloying have been successfully fabricated utilizing a unique laser cladding technique. The microstructure and properties of the resulting MSS coatings, with and without element V addition, have been carefully investigated by various advanced techniques, including XRD, SEM, TEM, microhardness tester, universal material testing machine, and electrochemical workstation. It was found that the V-free coating was mainly composed of martensite (M) and ferrite (F), trace M23C6 and M2N, while the V-bearing coatings consisted of M, F, M23C6, and VN nano-precipitates, and their number density increased with the increase of V content. The V microalloying can produce a significant impact on the mechanical properties of the resulting MSS laser-cladded specimens. As the V content increased, the elongation of the specimen increased, while the tensile strength and microhardness increased firstly and then decreased. Specifically, the striking comprehensive performance can be optimized by microalloying 0.5 wt% V in the MSS coating, with microhardness, tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation of 500.1 HV, 1756 MPa, 1375 MPa, and 11.9%, respectively. However, the corrosion resistance of the specimens decreased successively with increasing V content. The microstructure mechanisms accounting for the property changes have been discussed in detail.

Four kinds of single-bar modified tricot fabrics are knitted on a Raschel latch needle warp knitting machine with glass continuous-filament yarns. The glass warp knitted fabric/ unsaturated polyester resin composites are produced by manual molding technology. The tensile properties of composite samples are tested on the universal material testing machine. The stress-strain curves, elastic modulus, fracture strengths of composites are analyzed in the course, wale and diagonal directions. The results show that the tensile stress/strain curves of single-bar modified tricot warp knitted fabric reinforced composites were nonlinear. The tensile properties of composites possess obvious anisotropic characteristics. The values of elastic modulus and tensile strength were in relation to the yarn numbers bearing tensile load in tensile directions

Experimental research was performed to study the anisotropic elastoplastic responses of SiCp/Al composite sheets. To investigate the effects of the composite processing, two sets of specimens cut from the heat-treated and as-rolled composite sheets are tested using a universal material-testing machine. The dependence of the strength, plastic flow, and strain ratios on the rolling angles are discussed in detail. To model the phenomena observed in the experiments, a micromechanics based damage framework is developed. The interfacial debonding and the rolling angle’s effects are integrated into this model. Good consistence between the experimental results and the analytical predications shows the validity of the theoretical model.

Warp knitted fabrics possess a number of changes in the structures, so they do have great advantages on the property design of composites. The three kinds of weft insertion warp knitted fabrics are knitted on a Raschel latch needle warp knitting machine with glass continuous-filament yarns. The warp knitted fabric/ unsaturated polyester resin composite laminates are produced by manual molding technology. The tensile properties of composites in the course, wale and diagonal directions are tested on the universal material testing machine. The results show that the tensile stress/strain curves of the composites were nonlinear. The tensile properties of the composites possess obvious anisotropic characteristics. The tensile strengths and elastic modulus of the warp knitting composites depend on the needle space number of inlaid yarn, fabric density and structure.

In order to solve some problem of stress sensor in dynamic weigh rail, a new kind of inductive stress sensor based on magnetostriction effect of amorphous alloy was developed. First, the principle of sensor, and inferred its output equation were discussed. Second, the static characteristic experiment and the actual experiment on the material testing machine and the mine haulage rail were separately made. The results of the test have showed that this stress sensor has some characteristics as high measurement sensitiveness and accuracy. Also being simple, convenient and solid to install and use, so it is feasible to apply the sensor for the dynamic weigh rail.
