– This paper presents the comparison induced voltage between 0.35 mm and 0.50 mm thicknesses 3% SiFe (NG) with different frequency which are 45 Hz, 50 Hz and 60 Hz by using Single Sheet Tester (SST). This experiment used to measure the search coil voltage L1N1 and L2N2 at two positions (1st position and 2nd position) and harmonic content. The analysis shows, at different frequency for both thicknesses, the value of search coil voltage L1N1 is higher than the search coil voltage L2N2 for both positions. It shows the easy direction is single sheet tester direction at the 1st position for 0.35 mm and 0.50 mm thickness with different frequency. For harmonic content, at 0.6 T with different frequency for both thicknesses, the 3rd order harmonic factor of 0.35 mm is lower than 0.50 mm thickness 3% SiFe (NG). It is because the higher losses can increase the harmonic of the materials. It means that harmonic is affected by ingredient and thicknesses in core material.

The aim of this paper is to present a research of magnetic hysteresis loops of a toroidal ferromagnetic core made of electrical steel. The experimental results of induced voltage, magnetic induction and hysteresis loop obtained at different frequencies of the sinusoidal excitation magnetic field have been presented. The harmonic content of the induced voltage and magnetic induction have been calculated using Fast Fourier Transformation. Observed variation of higher harmonics with frequency has been correlated to the mechanism of magnetic domain walls damping. A variation of harmonics of the magnetic induction with the amplitude of the excitation magnetic field has been analysed and a proper mathematical model has been proposed. Furthermore, the influence of the triangularly shaped excitation magnetic field and the distorted shape excitation that produces sinusoidal induction on the shape of hysteresis loop and harmonic content of the induced voltage and the magnetic induction has been analysed and discussed.

This paper describes determination of the number rotor slots of an induction motor from the induced emf in an external search coil. This information is needed in prediction of motor speed from the external search coil induced voltage. The approach is based on identifying saliency harmonics and rotor slot harmonics, via FFT analysis of the external search coil emf. The proposed approach is tested on an induction motor driven by the mains supply. The experiments are repeated with a PWM supply. It is shown that the method works well in both cases and the number of rotor slots of the test machine is accurately predicted. .

We have studied the ultrastructures of tissue thromboplastin (T.Tbp) to demonstrate how It changes during coagulation.[Materials and Methods] T.Tbp from lungs of rabbits was used for these studies. It was injected into ear veins of rabbits. Lungs were resected at several seconds, 10sec, 1 min, 5 min, 24 hrs or 48 hrs after the injection. They were examined by transmission electron microscope.[Results] Concentrically arranged membrane structures of the injected T.Tbp disappeared in extremely short time after the injection. 1 min after the injection, fibrin fibers were seen between single sheet of membrane and endothelial cells of capillaries. In the rabbit which had died suddenly after the injection of T.Tbp, multiple pulmonary thrombi made of fibrin and platelets were seen in capillaries. The endothelial cells of capillaries were destroyed and interstitial tissues were edematous.The hypercoagulable state was seen 10~30sec after the start of the injection, indicating the shortening of r of TEG. Then, it gradually returned the level before injection. Moreover, changes of the measurements of fibrinogen, antiplasmin and prekallikrein were also seen after the injection.

Abstract Tread wear data are frequently fitted by a straight line having average groove depth as the ordinate and mileage as the abscissa. The authors have observed that the data points are not randomly scattered about the line but exist in runs of six or seven points above the line followed by the same number below the line. Attempts to correlate these cyclic deviations with climatic data failed. Harmonic content analysis of the data for each individual groove showed strong periodic behavior. Groove 1, a shoulder groove, had two important frequencies at 40 960 and 20 480 km (25 600 and 12 800 miles); Grooves 2 and 3, the inside grooves, had important frequencies at 10 240, 13 760, and 20 480 km (6400, 8600, and 12 800 miles), with Groove 4 being similar. A hypothesis is offered as a possible explanation for the phenomenon.

Many researches on double skin sandwich having top and bottom steel plates and in between concrete core called as steel-concrete-steel (SCS) were carried out by them on this SCS type using with different materials. Yet, use of coconut shell concrete (CSC) as a core material on this SCS form construction and their results are very limited. Study investigated to use j-hook shear studs under flexure in the concept of steel-concrete-steel (SCS) in which the core concrete was CSC. To compare the results of CSC, the conventional concrete (CC) was also considered. To study the effect of quarry dust (QD) in its place of river sand (RS) was also taken. Hence four different mixes two without QD and two with QD both in CC and CSC was considered. The problem statement is to examine about partial and fully composite, moment capacity, deflection and ductility properties of CSC used SCS form of construction. Core concrete strength and the j-hook shear studs used are influences the moment carrying capacity of the SCS beams. Use of QD in its place of RS enhances the strength of concrete produced. Deflections predicted theoretically were compared with experimental results. The SCS beams showed good ductility behavior.
