Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) system is widely utilized in engineering. However, the performance evaluation method for an ATR system is limited. This paper resolves the problem based on the theory of Sugeno fuzzy integration. The performance metrics are firstly measured. Then, a performance evaluation model is developed. Simulation result shows that, compared to the existing technologies, the novel method can offer more objective performance conclusions for an ATR system.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to present supply chain metrics and to propose a fuzzy-based performance evaluation method for lean supply chain. Design/methodology/approach – To understand the overall performance of cost competitive supply chain the paper investigates the alignment of market strategy and position of the supply chain. Since lean is applicable in many supply chains, the authors propose a set of metrics to evaluate supply chain performance. Moreover, the paper uses a fuzzy model to evaluate the performance of cost competitive supply chains. Fuzzy is an appropriate model method when uncertainty is present. It also allows modelling of a significant number of performance metrics across multiple supply chain elements and processes. Competitive strategy can be achieved by using a different weight calculation for different supply chain situations. Findings – Research provides optimal metrics for lean supply chains. The proposed method can measure the performance of lean supply chains using a fuzzy approach and competitive strategies. Research limitations/implications – The metrics which have been selected to measure the performance of lean supply chains is particularly applicable for high volume, low-price products. Practical implications – By identifying optimal performance metrics and applying performance evaluation methods, managers can predict the overall supply chain performance under lean strategy. By identifying performance for each metric they can also categorize the existing performance and optimise them accordingly. Originality/value – This study provides a performance evaluation method for supply chain managers to assess the effects of lean tools and competitive strategies.

Due to usability features, practical applications, and its lack of intrusiveness, face recognition technology, based on information, derived from individuals' facial features, has been attracting considerable attention recently. Reported recognition rates of commercialized face recognition systems cannot be admitted as official recognition rates, as they are based on assumptions that are beneficial to the specific system and face database. Therefore, performance evaluation methods and tools are necessary to objectively measure the accuracy and performance of any face recognition system. In this paper, we propose and formalize a performance evaluation model for the biometric recognition system, implementing an evaluation tool for face recognition systems based on the proposed model. Furthermore, we performed evaluations objectively by providing guidelines for the design and implementation of a performance evaluation system, formalizing the performance test process.

AbstractIn recent years, with the continuous development and progress of wireless communication and sensors, people's production and life have also undergone tremendous changes. This article aims to apply wireless sensor networks to the construction of a supply–demand coordination innovation performance evaluation model, in order to improve its influence and application scope in real life. This paper deeply researches the architecture and node organization structure of wireless sensor network, and strengthens its theoretical foundation in the application of performance evaluation model. This paper designs performance evaluation indicators and compares performance evaluation methods at home and abroad based on the evaluation indicators, compares and analyzes the factor analysis method, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, comprehensive index evaluation method, etc., draws the advantages and disadvantages of each method, and uses them reasonably. The performance evaluation model constructed in this paper adopts the production function method and the analytic hierarchy process. According to the principles of scientificity, feasibility, and economy, the performance indicators for evaluating the balance of supply and demand are screened out, and score evaluation and comparison of each indicator are carried out. Finally, this paper analyzes the corporate performance evaluation index composition, model regression, sensor performance and performance evaluation scores, etc., and has a comprehensive application analysis of the model constructed in this paper. As can be seen from the overall score we selected five companies, enterprises composite score is 83.574, ranking first, followed by a score of 78.421.

Aiming at the problems of performance evaluation is not comprehensive and objective in vehicle mounted anti tank missile training simulator, establishes the evaluation index system of missile shooting based on AHP and Delphi method, and constructs the hierarchical structure model. Using the sum product method to Calculation the approximate value of the Judgment matrix, solved the problem of getting the index weight between the elements. Checked the consistency of judgment matrix, verify the validity of the model, and finally through a concrete application example, obtained the comprehensive score of the calculated gunner firing. The research of this paper can provide a feasible method to enhance the training system of evaluation model, also has great practical significance to improve the effect of training simulator.

Starting from the problems of imperfect evaluation index system, non-standard evaluation method and single factor of performance evaluation model, this paper applies the unified grey clustering analysis algorithm to establish the index system of software organization status and software project characteristics, and defines the connotation of software project performance. A new network topology design method is proposed, and a software project performance evaluation model based on fuzzy neural network is established. An improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is introduced to solve the problem of determining the connection weight coefficient of the evaluation model accurately and efficiently. This paper introduces the basic concept of project performance evaluation, and explains the necessity and importance of performance evaluation in the project.
