To avoiding tampering with jewelry image, based on web service technology, a jewelry image watermarking encryption service is proposed by encapsulating the watermarking encryption module which runs in the local network environment. The service can judge the barcode regions in the jewelry image, and get the jewelry serial number by analyzing the barcode content. The practicability and validity of the watermarking encryption service is verified through the application in the jewelry inspection business management system.

For implementing jewelry cert print in the web environment, based on web service and ActiveX technology, an online jewelry cert print service is proposed by encapsulation the jewelry cert print module running in the local network environment. The service can implement the cert typesetting and batch print, and can communicate soap message with other web services. The practicability and validity of the online jewelry cert print service is verified through the application in the jewelry inspection business management system.

When the business process changes, the traditional community medical management system needs to change. But SOA is based on service oriented architecture and separates the service provider and service participants, which makes the system flexible. The paper analyzes and designs the subsystem including customer management, general clinic, business management, case management and treatment plan according to the design idea of service provider and service participants in SOA system. So the community medical management system based on SOA has great reference for community medical management system in other cities.

For implementing jewelry weigh with balance in web environment, based on web service, an online balance weigh service is developed by encapsulating RS232 interface with ActiveX technology, and then other web services can call the weigh service to get quality of jewelry ornament with SOAP message request. The art of chisel mask is developed in Tumpang Malang area as part of dance costume fairs, puppet show andcultural ritual, although in its development, this mask sculpture is also sold and become a tourism commodity. The potentialsales of mask sculptures is increasing, especially because of the demanders are foreign tourists, cultural enthusiasts andcomponent of tourism activities. That is, Topeng Malangan has the potential to be developed as an export commodity. Thesales system is still limited to cultural events or when there is a visit of education and tourism to the arts-padepokan. Thisprompted some people around the padepokan to start a home industry to meet the availability of the mask. In general, theproblems encountered by the craftsmen are (1) availability of raw materials, especially for suitable wood species, (2)production equipment, especially for pre-carving process and preservation of product, (3) there is no standard marketingscheme, (4) does not have a business management system, and (5) highly skilled craftsmen are still very limited. The solutionsoffered are divided into three stages: (1) technological strengthening, including strengthening production process technologyand increasing the number of craftsmen; (2) establishing business management; and (3) establishing trademarks, copyrightsand product marketing expansions

Identification of web service candidates in legacy software is a crucial process in the reengineering of legacy systems to service oriented architecture. Researchers have proposed various automatic and semi-automatic methods for this purpose, some of which have proved to be quite efficient, but there are still certain gaps which need to be addressed. This article discovers the strengths and weaknesses of previous methods and develops a method with improved service candidate identification performance. In this article, service identification is considered as a search and optimization problem and a firefly algorithm is developed accordingly to give high-quality solutions in reasonably short times. A filtering method is also developed to remove excess modules (false positives) from the algorithm outputs. A case study on a legacy flight reservation system demonstrates the high reliability of the outputs given by the proposed method.

One of the key challenges of the Service Oriented Architecture is the discovery of relevant services for a given task. In Semantic Web Services, service discovery is generally achieved by using the service profile ontology of OWL-S. Profile of a service is a derived, concise description and not a functional part of the semantic web service. There is no schema present in the service profile to describe the input, output (IO), and the IOs in the service profile are not always annotated with ontology concepts, whereas the process model has such a schema to describe the IOs which are always annotated with ontology concepts. In this paper, we propose a complementary sophisticated matchmaking approach which uses the concrete process model ontology of OWL-S instead of the concise service profile ontology. Empirical analysis shows that high precision and recall can be achieved by using the process model-based service discovery.
