The paper analyses the present situation and characteristics of job hunting and recruitment information sharing in China, takes a technical scheme of distributed data sharing based on mobile Internet and web service, combined with the actual situation of data source of job hunting and recruitment in China, designs and develops middleware of the application service. The scheme uses the mobile phone as the terminal, to publish and browse talent supply and demand data, to effectively solve the problem of distributed data sharing, and the use of google android integrated development environment-Android Studio, designs the information sharing platform of the job hunting and recruitment based on android system.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to present a framework for integrating construction supply chain in order to resolve the data heterogeneity and data sharing problems in the construction industry. Design/methodology/approach – Standardized web service technology is used in the proposed framework for data specification, transfer, and integration. Open standard SAWSDL is used to annotate web service descriptions with pointers to concepts defined in ontologies. NoSQL database Cassandra is used for distributed data storage among construction supply chain stakeholders. Findings – Ontology can be used to support heterogeneous data transfer and integration through web services. Distributed data storage facilitates data sharing and enhances data control. Practical implications – This paper presents examples of two ontologies for expressing construction supply chain information – ontology for material and ontology for purchase order. An example scenario is presented to demonstrate the proposed web service framework for material procurement process involving three parties, namely, project manager, contractor, and material supplier. Originality/value – The use of web services is not new to construction supply chains (CSCs). However, it still faces problems in channelizing information along CSCs due to data heterogeneity. Trust issue is also a barrier to information sharing for integrating supply chains in a centralized collaboration system. In this paper, the authors present a web service framework, which facilitates storage and sharing of information on a distributed manner mediated through ontology-based web services. Security is enhanced with access control. A data model for the distributed databases is also presented for data storage and retrieval.

This paper presents two renovation management tools that are currently being developed in BIM4EEB project: BIMPlanner—a planning and management tool for housing renovation projects —and BIM4Occupants—a coordination tool between contractors and occupants. An information-sharing layer, based on ontologies and linked data technologies, is an essential technical enabler of these tools. The layer allows data sharing across the different components of the toolkit. The tools aim to enhance information sharing between renovation stakeholders and to enrich BIM data with links to other relevant data in renovation projects.

The purpose of this paper was to solve the problem of constructing information platform for small and medium-sized enterprise dynamic alliance. According to the present situation of Chinese small and medium-sized enterprise informatization, the research on ASP(application service provider) model proposed to construct the small and medium-sized enterprise dynamic alliance information platform, expounded the advantages of ASP, proposed the small and medium-sized enterprise dynamic alliance information platform of information sharing mechanism. The formation of small and medium-sized enterprises of dynamic alliance effective operation had certain positive contribution. In this paper, the innovation of originality focuses on building small and medium-sized enterprise dynamic alliance information platform base on ASP model.

<span lang="EN-US">This paper presents the results obtained from a comparative analysis of two methods for experimental data sharing. </span><span>Several </span><span lang="EN-US">works</span><span> related to the </span><span lang="EN-US">topic</span><span> and some </span><span lang="EN-US">approaches</span><span> for </span><span lang="EN-US">processing data</span><span> have been discussed. Different </span><span lang="EN-US">technolgoies related to the web services</span><span>, ways of using them and the areas of their application are analyzed. For the purposes of the study, a </span><span lang="EN-US">web service</span><span> for </span><span lang="EN-US">retrieving </span><span>specific data</span><span lang="EN-US"> from a behavioral experiments database</span><span> was de</span><span lang="EN-US">veloped</span><span>.</span><span>The methodology and conditions for conducting </span><span lang="EN-US">the </span><span>experiments are described. T</span><span lang="EN-US">wo</span><span> different indicators </span><span lang="EN-US">a</span><span>re analyzed, respectively: </span><span lang="EN-US">time to retrieve the data from a database </span><span>and iteration time across all records through one </span><span lang="EN-US">loop</span><span>. The results show that when </span><span lang="EN-US">retrieving</span><span> thousands of records both </span><span lang="EN-US">web service based approach</span><span> and an approach based on a remote database</span><span lang="EN-US"> server can be used. However, when retrieving millions of records</span><span>, </span><span lang="EN-US">the fastest approach was the one that uses remote database server</span><span>.</span><span> <span lang="EN-US">T</span></span><span>he obtained</span><span>results</span><span>show that </span><span lang="EN-US">the </span><span>dynamic arrays</span><span lang="EN-US"> (containing strings) </span><span>iterated much faster </span><span lang="EN-US">across all data records </span><span>than </span><span lang="EN-US">the dataset </span><span>approach.</span>

AbstractThe issue of how to detect and rapidly respond to invasive species before it is economically infeasible to control them is one of urgency and importance at international, national, and subnational scales. Barriers to sharing invasive species data—whether in the form of policy, culture, technology, or operational logistics—need to be addressed and overcome at all levels. We propose guiding principles for following standards, formats, and protocols to improve information sharing among US invasive species information systems and conclude that existing invasive species information standards are adequate for the facilitation of data sharing among all sectors. Rather than creating a single information-sharing system, there is a need to promote interfaces among existing information systems that will enable them to become inter-operable, to foster simultaneous access, and to deliver any and all relevant information to a particular user or application in a seamless fashion. The actions we propose include implementing a national campaign to mobilize invasive species occurrence data into publicly available information systems; maintaining a current list of invasive species data integrators/clearinghouses; establishing an agreement for sharing data among the primary US invasive species information systems; enhancing the Integrated Taxonomic Information System to fully cover taxonomic groups not yet complete; further developing and hosting data standards for critical aspects of invasive species biology; supporting and maintaining the North American Invasive Species Management Association’s mapping standards; identifying standard metrics for capturing the environmental and socio-economic impact of invasive species, including impacts and management options; continuing to support US engagement in international invasive species data sharing platforms; and continuing US membership in the Global Biodiversity Information Facility.

Recent years have witnessed a growing interest in using Web services as a reliable means for medical data sharing inside and across healthcare organizations. In such service-based data sharing environments, Web service composition emerged as a viable approach to query data scattered across independent locations. Patient data privacy preservation is an important aspect that must be considered when composing medical Web services. In this paper, the authors show how data privacy can be preserved when composing and executing Web services. Privacy constraints are expressed in the form of RDF queries over a mediated ontology. Query rewriting algorithms are defined to process those queries while preserving users’ privacy.

Service computing has become a key-enabling technology to support collaboration and interaction among business partners and customers. With the development of new emerging service-related computing paradigms such as Cloud Computing and Mobile Internet, more and more services are provided by different providers. These services are becoming increasingly complex. Aiming at recommending high-quality and trustful services in the complex service computing environment, this paper presents a trust-aware search engine by integrating service functionalities, QoS (quality of service) and service trust. The proposed search engine primarily contains four components: keyword-based service matching, service QoS evaluation, service reputation evaluation and a hybrid ranking method which combines the results yielded by the previous three components to produce final service recommendations. To evaluate the performance of the authors' service search engine, comprehensive experiments are conducted using a real Web service dataset. The experimental results show that our approach outperforms conventional QoS-based service selection methods. Finally, a prototype is also presented to validate the authors' trust-aware Web service search engine.
