Manufacturing execution system is the link in the process of enterprise implementation information integration. The application of Radio Frequency Identification technology is important to implement the data collection function of MES. Speculation against the low efficiency, poor in real time, and low security function for data acquisition in a motor manufacturer, established data acquisition system in MES based on RFID,discussed the data collection process, designed structure of the system in detail, analyzed the function requirements, provide anti-collision algorithm to avoid data collection of the label which may be used in the system implementation, finally discussed the principle of coding.

Because of the data acquisition system is more and more wide application range, involved the signal source and the type of more and more of the requirement of measurement, more and more is also high, the domestic now has quite a few data collection system and measurement, but many systems are simple function, and acquisition channel, the sampling rate is low, less complex operation, and higher requirements for test environment. People need a wide application range, high performance/price ratio of data acquisition system. In this paper, the main content is the use of ARM9 processor C2440A primarily controller series 3, design an embedded data acquisition system. Using ARM9 chip do microprocessor design remote data acquisition system, through the embedded Linux system video data collection USB cameras, the JPEG compression coding, ARM9 chip control data acquisition by most industrial environmental restrictions for collection system that has a large capacity of the storage and wireless forwarding function. This paper to S3C2440A as the core, with A piece of FPGA and A piece of Ethernet CS8900A controller for auxiliary to realize the digital parts of the system hardware, analog part two way by the A/D acquisition, variable gain amplifier and basic amplifying circuit component. The system also realize the SD card memory function and various interface such as serial ports and JTAG mouth. In the software of realized in development platform on Linux system of transplantation, separately from the Bootloader transplantation, Linux kernel transplantation and root file system, the establishment of the three are expounded. And completion of the A/D converter, SD card and CS8900A in the drive design under Linux, and finally the data acquisition, storage design and forwarding program.

Recording data for the increasingly diverse needs, the design is using FPGA to achieve the data breakpoint deposit. Choosing NAND Flash K9KAG08U0M as data storage media , the data according to an external command realize erasing ,storage and read-back operation under the control of the FLASH-based FPGA (A3P125). The design of data breakpoints deposit can achieved interruption of data collection, and by reading the data back before the FLASH chip erase operation to comply the repeated use of data acquisition system.

This paper is based on the background of manufacturing enterprise information system. Under this case, this paper introduces a design of a data collection system that is transparent and controlled by the host computer. It uses a data acquisition system software design model which will help in speeding up the development of the system, reducing maintenance costs as well as improving data collect velocity. This paper describes the data acquisition system based on ARM hardware platform, its software framework and design process.

When dealing with human lives, the need to utilize and apply the latest technology to help in saving and maintaining patients’ lives is quite important and requires accurate, near-real-time data acquisition and evaluation. At the same time, the delivery of a patient’s medical data needs to be as fast and as secure as possible. One possible way to achieve this is to use a wireless framework based on radio-frequency identification (RFID). This framework can integrate wireless networks for fast data acquisition and transmission while maintaining the privacy issue. This chapter discusses the development of an agent framework in which RFID can be used for patient data collection. The chapter presents a framework for the knowledge acquisition of patient and doctor profiling in a hospital. The acquisition of profile data is assisted by a profiling agent that is responsible for processing the raw data obtained through RFID and a database of doctors and patients.

Abstract. The Niwot Ridge Subalpine Forest AmeriFlux site (US-NR1) has been measuring eddy-covariance ecosystem fluxes of carbon dioxide, heat, and water vapor since 1 November, 1998. Throughout this 17-year period there have been changes to the instrumentation and improvements to the data acquisition system. Here, in Part I of this three-part series of papers, we describe the hardware and software used for data-collection and metadata documentation. We made changes to the data acquisition system that aimed to reduce the system complexity, increase redundancy, and be as independent as possible from any network outages. Changes to facilitate these improvements were: (1) switching to a PC/104-based computer running the NCAR NIDAS software that saves the high-frequency data locally and over the network, and (2) time-tagging individual 10-Hz serial data samples using network time protocol (NTP) coupled to a GPS-based clock providing a network-independent, accurate time-base. Since makings these improvements almost two years ago, the successful capture of high-rate data has been better than 99.98 %. We also provide philosophical concepts that shaped our design of the data system and are applicable to many different types of environmental data collection.
