In the automatic control system of industrial field, the production process monitoring and control process is dependent on Mutual coordination of various automation instrument, computer and corresponding actuators. The coordination is accurate or not, the key is signal transmission quality among those agencies. The application and selection of isolation device directly affect signal transmission. This paper discusses the application and choose of industrial site isolator from isolation principle, the principle and choose for isolator, commissioning and parameter selection based on practical application.

This paper takes the automatic control system of controllable pitch propeller in a multipurpose ocean tug as an example to describe the application of the S7-200 series PLC in the control system of 4500 horse power controllable pitch propeller in detail. The principle of control system is addressed, as well as the hardware configuration, the design idea of the main software and control process. The system shows high reliability, accuracy and good control performance in practical in practical running.

The automatic monitoring and control method for aerosol cultivation of lettuce was proposed by real-time monitoring and automatic control of the cultivation environment, on-line detection and automatic control of nutrient solution, and the combination of field control and remote control, which has realized the intelligent management of aerosol cultivation of lettuce based on plant factory. The monitoring and control system of aerosol cultivation, the control model for the spray frequency of nutrient solution and the fuzzy control method for the pH value control of nutrient solution were introduced. The control system has been applied in the agricultural science and technology park, and the results show that the aerosol cultivation of lettuce has advantages over the traditional method.

This paper presents a novel pulse discriminating and control system for the identification of spark gap states, process monitoring and control of Wire Electrical Discharge Turning (WEDT). The relation between the proportion of open circuit, normal spark, arc discharge, short circuit to total sparks (defined as open circuit ratio, normal spark ratio, arc discharge ratio and short circuit ratio, respectively), ignition delay time and metal removal rate were experimentally studied and analyzed. A fuzzy logic controller was proposed to control both the arc discharge ratio and ignition delay time at optimal levels by on-line regulation of table feed-rate and pulse off-time for adaptive control optimization of WEDT. Experimental results show that the developed process monitoring and control system results in faster machining and better machining stability as compared with a conventional servo feed control scheme for the WEDT process.

To implement the new generation thermo mechanical control process (NG-TMCP), the automatic control system of ultra fast cooling (UFC) was developed by combined with the renovation project of controlled cooling system in one plate production line. This system was composed of basic automation subsystem and process automation subsystem. As the main control unit of the basic automatic control system, a S7400 PLC system is used to control the UFC device and to achieve the chain control between the UFC system and the mill system. While the process control system is to realize the automatical setting of the cooling schedule by the developed finite element temperature field model and the temperature homogeneity model. The industry application shows that the NG-TMCP which is based on the UFC can reduce the alloy content effectively and implement the low-cost reduction produce of high-grade products.

By the design of the visualization system of the LPG shuttle kiln, the friendly man-machine interface is achieved, which is helpful for the change, expansion and upgrade of the system. It is studied that the general schemes of the visualization automatic control system of the LPG shuttle kiln in this article. The choice of the hardware devices, especially the system nucleus units including temperature transducer, A/D or D/A intelligent module, RS232/485 converter, relay, actuator, etc, and the connection and control strategy of the hardware of the control system, is analyzed emphatically. A/D or D/A intelligence module, RS232/485 converter, relay, actuator, the joint and control strategy of the hardware of the control system, etc. With the widely application of the intelligence control system, the foreground of the visualization system of the shuttle kiln will be better and better.
