In order to detect switch contact temperature of high voltage switch cabinet in the operation of the cabinet, this paper puts forward a wireless measurement way to solve the measuring temperature problem of high voltage switch of the switch contact using magnetic field coupling idea. The temperature danger can be achieved in time to reduce switch burn injury. The device is mainly composed of temperature acquisition part and temperature display part. The two parts are connected by wireless data transmission. By test determination, the method is accurate and convenient to measure the temperature of the switch contact and then completely eliminate major accidents caused by switch temperature rise.

One of the crucial aspects of the environmental protection is continuous monitoring of environment. Specific aspect is estimation of the bird species population. It is particularly important for bird species being in danger of extinction. Avian monitoring programs are time and money consuming actions which usually base on terrain expeditions. Certain remedy for this can be automatic acoustical avian monitoring system, described in the paper. Main components of the designed system are: digital audio recorder for bird voices acquisition, computer program automatically recognizing bird species by its signals emitted (voices or others) and object-relational database accessed via the Internet. Optional system components can be: digital camera and camcorder, bird attracting device, wireless data transmission module, power supply with solar panel, portable weather station. The system records bird voices and sends the recordings to the database. Recorded bird voices can be also provoked by the attracting device. Application of wireless data transmission module and power supply with solar panel allows long term operation of digital sound recorder in a hard accessible terrain. Recorded bird voices are analysed by the computer program and labelled with the automatically recognized bird species. Recognition accuracy of the program can be optionally enhanced by an expert system. Besides of labelled sound recordings, database can store also many other information like: photos and films accompanying recorded bird voices/ sounds, information about localization of observation/ recordings (GPS position, description of a place of an observation), information about bird features and behaviour, meteorological information, etc. Database on the base of geographical/ geological digital maps can generate actual maps of bird population (presence, number of individuals of each species). Moreover data-base can trigger alerts in case of rapidly decreasing bird population. It is also possible to obtain new knowledge about bird species with data mining methods. The paper presents collected data on observed bird species (audio recordings, photos and films) as well as results of experiments testing particular components of the automatic acoustical avian monitoring system.

Covid-19 is a new type of disease caused by a virus from the coronavirus class. Covid-19 spreads between humans very quickly and spreads to several countries including Indonesia, in just a few months. In this digital era, the role of media including IoT technology itself is very important for the development of information distribution in a fast, precise, and real-time manner and is able to cut existing distance boundaries. In this study, a wireless data monitoring system for the distribution of Covid-19 was created. This system uses a data parsing method that utilizes the Thingspeak application, to process data using the Arduino IDE and utilizing the ESP8266 as a wireless data transmission medium. The processed data is then displayed on an OLED layer.Keywords:Covid-19, Information, Media, IoT, Digital.

This paper presents a new type of micro self-powered wireless analog sun sensor. The mask with aperture of the sun sensor, developed by glass coated process, reduces the impact on accuracy caused by second reflection of the light, and also promotes system’s external thermal radiation ability. With aluminum substrate process, the processing circuit is integrated on the bottom cover of the sun sensor, which saves the conventional processing circuit needed space and reduces the complexity of system’s structure. Self-powered and wireless data transmission improve the system’s application flexibility. The simulation results and preliminary experiments show that the accuracy of the system has the ability to reach 0.2° in the whole 120°×120° FOV and the solar cells’ minimum output power is 90mW which is able to meet the power consumption requirements of the system circuits.

Abstract Regarding the hazard-prone working conditions in underground mines, synchronous monitoring and alarm system is vital to increase the safety. By analyzing the accidents in underground mines in Iran, it can be deduced that most fatalities are related to harmful gas leakage, objects drop off on the head, and not using helmets by the staff. Therefore, a smart helmet with the capability of measuring harmful gasses (regarding the type of the mine), detection of the existence of the helmet on the head, temperature and humidity measurement, and detection of blow on the head is designed and fabricated to eliminate the present dangers and problems. This system displays the evaluated data on a developed software through wireless data transmission hardware. The data transmission hardware is the primary link between the intelligent safety helmet and the software. To follow the idea, practical experiments have been performed in Parvadeh four and East Parvadeh of Tabas coal mine to confirm the validity of data transmission that culminated in successful results. The results were altered by the complexity of the design of the underground spaces so that in a straight direction, data transmission was held until 430 meters. However, further progress was not possible due to tunnel limitations. Data transmission was reduced to 190 meters in access horizons with curvatures or tilts. According to present standards, some thresholds are defined for each of the mentioned cases such that alarm protocol is activated by exceeding these thresholds in critical circumstances. Then the helmet user and the software’s operator will be informed of the occurred danger and will settle the problem.
