Under the comprehensive consideration of “buoyancy effect” and “throttle effect” during mine fire period, the article used the geographic information system (GIS) technology, simulated the smoke pollution area, ventilation system junction temperature and state of airflow during mine fire period. Finishing a program for dynamic simulation of emergency rescue during mine fire period, which is significant for establishing fire pre-scheme and the decision-making during fire period. At the same time, the dynamic characteristic of ventilation system and selection of escaping route is also considered, which provides foundation for the rescuing the workers underground in time.

One of the main reasons for coal mine fire is spontaneous combustion of residual coal in gob. As the difference of compaction degree of coal and rock, the underground gob can be considered as a porous medium and divided into “three zones” in accordance with the criteria. The “three zones” are “heat dissipation zone”, “oxidation zone” and “choking zone”, respectively. Temperature programming experiments are taken and numerical simulation with obtained experimental data is utilized to analyze the distribution of “three zones” in this paper. Different width and depth of “oxidation zone” are obtained when the inlet air velocity is changed. As the nitrogen injection has inhibition effect on spontaneous combustion of residual coal in gob, nitrogen is injected into the gob. The widths of “oxidation zone” are compared before and after nitrogen injection. And ultimately the optimum location and volume of nitrogen injection are found out.

The selection of a rubber compound has a determining influence on the final characteristics of rubber-metal springs. Therefore, the correct selection of a rubber compound is a key factor for development of rubber-metal vibration isolation springs with required characteristics. The procedure for the selection of the rubber compound for vibration isolation of rubber-metal springs has been proposed, so that the rubber-metal elements have the necessary characteristics, especially in terms of deflection. The procedure is based on numerical simulation of spring deflection with Bergström-Boyce constitutive model in virtual experiment, with a goal to determine which parameters of the constitutive model will lead to spring required deflection. The procedure was verified by case study defined to select rubber compound for a rubber–metal spring used in railway engineering.

To satisfy the requirement in blisk machining, a barrel-ball milling (BBM) cutter suitable for machining both blade and hub is presented in this paper. The selection of cutter parameter and calculation of cutter location were put forward. The new efficient machining cutter location via the advanced optimization on cutter machining strip width was gained. By the numerical simulation of blisk blade machining, the feasibility of the BBM cutter and cutter location strategy were verified. The result showed that the efficiency of this method was increased to more than three times compared to the machining with a ball cutter.
