LSALO-BP: A Hybrid Model for Children Adulthood Height Prediction

The prediction of children's adult height is a common procedure in childhood endocrinology. Through the prediction of children's adult height, it is possible to find abnormalities in children's growth and development. Many jobs in today's society have certain requirements for height, so the accuracy of children adulthood height prediction is important for children. Current methods for predicting adult height of children have some shortcomings such as inaccurate accuracy. To deal with these problems, this paper analyzes the data collected by the Chinese children and adolescents' physical and growth health projects in primary and secondary schools in Zhejiang Province, and proposes a method for predicting adult height based on back propagation neural network (BPNN) with the body composition of children and adolescents as input. Since the BP algorithm has the risk of falling into local optimization, and we propose LSALO-BP model that incorporates the ant lion optimizer (LSALO) into the BP algorithm as location strategy to avoid local optimization. The improvements achieved by the ant lion algorithm are mainly reflected in: improving the ant's walk mode, and enhancing the global search ability of the LSALO algorithm. The comparison experiment of 10 benchmark functions proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the location strategy. The LSALO-BP model is applied to the prediction of adult height of children and adolescents. The experimental results show that compared with other models, the LSALO-BP prediction model has increased the prediction accuracy by 6.67%~16.08% for boys and 4.67%~6.6% for girls, which can more accurately predict the adult height of children and adolescents.

Pengambilan Keputusan dalam Menentukan Lokasi Usaha pada Jasa Treatment Eternal.Lab Menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process

Treatment Eternal.Lab is a business engaged in the services of washing shoes, bags, hats and helmets. There are several things that must be improved by eternal.lab treatment in order to survive and compete in the future. Decision making in determining the right location will have an impact on the development of the business in the future, then, there needs to be a strategy in determining the location of the business. Taking into account the segments and costs in determining the location will be able to deny profits to thebusiness. Analytical hierarchy process becomes the preferred method to see the location of the business where itis prioritized based on the criteria that influence in determining the location of the business on the treatment services Eternal.Lab. The author uses the expert choice tool to find out the value of each criterion and sub-criteria against alternative locations that have previously been selected. Obtained 4 (four) criteria that become determinants in determining the location of the business, namely facilities, rental costs, market environment, and physical condition of the location. Based on the results of the tests conducted, obtained alternative locations that are prioritized is the Queen's labuhan with an assessment weight (0.406). Analytical hierarchy process menjadi metode yang dipilih untuk melihat lokasi usaha dimana yang lebih di prioritaskan berdasarkan kriteria yang berpengaruh dalam menentukan lokasi usaha pada jasa treatment Eternal.Lab. Penulis menggunakan alat expert choice untuk mengetahui nilai setiap kriteria dan sub-kriteria terhadap alternatif lokasi yang sebelumnya sudah dipilih. Diperoleh 4 (empat) kriteria yang menjadi penentu dalam menentukan lokasi usaha yaitu fasilitas, biaya sewa, lingkungan pasar, dan kondisi fisik lokasi. Berdasarkan hasil dari pengujian yang dilakukan maka diperoleh alternatif lokasi yang lebih di prioritaskan adalah labuhan Ratu dengan bobot penilaian (0,406). Determinants of Bank Branch Presence in Local Areas: A Comparison Between North and South of Italy

A close relationship with customers, mainly achieved through the opening of local branches, has long been a fundamental key to competitive advantage in the banking sector. Financial innovation, changes in customer behavior and competitive dynamics have transformed this relationship over time, leading to the closure of numerous branches. This work explores the determinants of branch evolution in an advanced and notoriously bank-centric country (Italy) using NUTS 3 panel data over the 2000-2016 time-span. Results show how - in general - demographic, industrial and economic variables explain the dynamics of banks’ branch location strategy. However, more heterogeneous evidence emerges when North and South Italy are taken into consideration separately suggesting that territorial and regional dimension might play a role even in the banking sector.
