Design and Research on the Control System of Magnetic Plate-Type Seeding Production Line

A new magnetic plate-type precision seeding production line and its control system were designed based on the magnetic seed-metering principle. The control system is consisted of DVP-40ES Programmable Logic Controller and LJD-51-XB+ Mico Controller Unit. The PLC control system controls the working flow of the production line. The MCU control system controls turnover movement of the sowing board and up-and-down movement of the seed case for whole tray seed-filling and sowing. Seeding tests for the magnetic powder coated rape seeds showed that the rate of single-seeding, over-seeding and miss-seeding were 90.2778%, 4.6875% and 5.0347% respectively. The seeding speed was 257 trays per hour, an average of each tray with 14s. It meets the requirements of precision seeding. The system design is reasonable and reliable.

Based on the magnetic seed-metering principle, a new magnetic plate-type precision seeder and seeding production line were developed to meet the requirements of precision seeding. The control system was designed based on Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Mico Controller Unit (MCU). Automatic programming techniques, sensor technology, acceleration and deceleration control of step motor were integrated into the system. The PLC control system controls the workflow of the production line to realize accurate positioning of the tray and its coordination. The MCU control system controls the flip of the sowing board, as well as the up-and-down movement of the seed case for whole tray seed-filling and sowing. Seeding tests for the magnetic powder coated rape seeds showed that the rates of single-seeding, over-seeding and miss-seeding were 90.2778%, 4.6875% and 5.0347% respectively. The seeding speed was up to 14s per tray. This result meets the requirements of precision seeding.

Focus on the disadvantages such as complicated circuit , poor reliability, difficulty troubleshooting and etc of the traditional relay-contactor control system of Z3040 radial drilling machine, the PLC control system design plan was proposed, the hardware and software design of electrical control system included the PLC selection, the I/O terminal assignments, the I/O hardware wiring diagram drawing as well as the PLC ladder program design was completed in this thesis based on control theory analysis of radial drilling machine.

It is well-known that China is a textile production and export country, especially in Zhejiang and Hangzhou province, the textile industry is well-developed with tremendous amount of application of textile machinery. This paper is about the design of rapier textile machinery with programmable logic controller, including five major functions: opening weft, leading weft, fighting weft, warping and coiling off weft. It has accomplished the function of detecting a broken weft while leading weft, while the signal of detecting is completed by store, and the function of broken warp while warping. PLC Programmer of S7200 Siemens CPU224 is used.

According to the craft requirement of drilling and tapping some boxes’ production line three surfaces and two service positions, selected Japan Matsushita Electric's C40 (24/16) type,and designed the PLC control system of the combined machine tool, replace the intrinsic relay and contactor control system. The reliability of the control system is improved, failure rate is reduced, debugging use is convenient, practical application effect is good.
