With the development of the network information, information processing is vital in all aspects. Information filtering is more important research aspect. Especially Chinese information filtering is urgent affairs. According to research of the domestic and abroad, in the article vector space method and hyB+ tree index method is combined to filter text. Experimental results show that, this method is feasible.

As these composites have become more popular, composite joint design has become a very important research area, as these joints are often the weakest parts of composite structures. In this paper, the strength of a composite laminated bolted joint being subjected to a clamping force was tested and predicted using the FAI (Failure Area Index) method. The strengths of composite joints subjected to clamping forces on different geometric shapes and dimensions were predicted using the FAI method, and the results were compared with experimental results. From the tests and analyses, the strength of a given composite laminated bolted joint subjected to a clamping force could be predicted within 22.5% via the FAI method.

We refine a classical logarithmic inequality using a discrete case of Bernoulli inequality, and then we refine furthermore two information inequalities between information measures for graphs, based on information functionals, presented by Dehmer and Mowshowitz in (2010) as Theorems 4.7 and 4.8. The inequalities refer to entropy-based measures of network information content and have a great impact for information processing in complex networks (a subarea of research in modeling of complex systems).

In order to better solve the problem of detection of small bone spurs with convenient and accurate way, a portable spur detection system is designed. This system, in view of spur reproducibility characteristic, is characterized by the application for a kind of the improved algorithm based on the OpenCV. And it was successfully transplanted into the embedded system. The experimental results indicated that this system might precisely examine the small spur with difficulty discovery by naked eyes used fully by two images of computed tomography which done in different periods. The spur detection system needs to be further improved function to realize more applications. In fact, function expansion based on the system is easy to realize.

Due to the limitations of the existing methods (for example, the route binary tree method) that can only automatically generate routes based on a single chart, a method for automatically generating the shortest distance route based on an obstacle spatial database is proposed. Using this proposed method, the route between two arbitrary points at sea can be automatically generated. First, the differences in accuracy and updating time of charts are quantitatively analysed. Next, the mechanism for updating obstacles is designed, an obstacle spatial database is constructed, and the obstacle data extracted from multiple charts are fused. Finally, considering the effect of efficiency on the amount of obstacle data, a route window and an improved R-tree index are designed for quickly extracting and querying the obstacle database. The experimental results demonstrate that compared with existing methods, the proposed method can generate the shortest distance between two arbitrary points at sea and eliminates the limitation of the area of the chart. In addition, with data from multiple charts, the route generated by the proposed method is more reliable than that of the existing methods, and it is more efficient.

Boolean Retrieval (BR) and Vector Space Model (VSM) are very popular methods in information retrieval for creating an inverted index and querying terms. BR method searches the exact results of the textual information retrieval without ranking the results. VSM method searches and ranks the results. This study empirically compares the two methods. The research utilizes a sample of the corpus data obtained from Reuters. The experimental results show that the required times to produce an inverted index by the two methods are nearly the same. However, a difference exists on the querying index. The results also show that the numberof generated indexes, the sizes of the generated files, and the duration of reading and searching an index are proportional with the file number in the corpus and thefile size.

The article proposed a new method for implementing linear phase FIR filter based on FPGA. For the key to implementing the FIR filter on FPGA—multiply-add operation, a parallel distributed algorithm was presented, which is based on LUT. The designed file was described with VHDL and realized on Altera’s field programmable gate array (FPGA), giving the design method. The experimental results indicated that the system can run stably at 120MHz or more, which can meet the requirements of signal processing for real-time.
