The effect of the magnetic properties of YBCO superconductors on the inductance of coil were studied in order to the dependence on temperature of effective penetration depth and the variation potential difference for damped oscillation in RLC series circuit. In this work, The samples of YBa2Cu3-xAgxO7- were prepared by solid state reaction in air at 950 ๐C for 24 hr. serves as the core of solenoids. The inductance of solenoids changes up with the increasing of temperature from boiling point of liquid nitrogen (77 K) to room temperature had been measured. Then we calculated to the effective penetration depth. We found that there were increase correspond with the increasing of temperature and the critical temperature decreased and then increased with the increase in Ag2O concentration of x = 0.1 and 0.2 , respectively. The variation potential difference for damped oscillation in RLC series circuit. We found that the decreasing of amplitude per cycle of the samples at superconducting state larger than those at normal state and phases shift in the damping oscillattion of RLC circuit at superconducting state are less than that at normal state, discussed as in inductance, the magnetic flux entering through the samples at superconducting state are less than that at normal state.

The electrical characteristics of superconducting coils with non-insulated windings are studied. The procedures for measuring the parameters of uninsulated superconducting windings are described. In particular, the inductance is measured by voltage with a linear current input at a given rate. Attention is focused on the impossibility of correctly determining the inductance in a winding with an uninsulated superconductor in a normal state. It is noted that in a superconducting state at currents below the critical value, the inductance of the winding is comparable to the inductance with an insulated wire. The results of measurements of inductance, radial resistance, static current-voltage and magnetic characteristics of two tape coils with non-insulated superconducting windings, one of which had a soldered connection, are presented. Conditions for measuring the parameters of non-insulated superconducting windings are formulated when they are compared with insulated windings.

The electrical and magnetic properties of ( Y 1-x-y Zr x Ca y) Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7-δ ceramics are investigated by using resistivity, ac and dc susceptibility measurements. X-ray powder diffraction has been used to find the lattice parameters of the samples. The samples are orthorhombic, except the sample with x=0.15 and y=0.2 which is tetragonal. All the samples are superconducting. There is no significant change in Tc for the Zr-doped ( Y 1-x Zr x) Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7-δ samples, while for the ( Y 0.85-y Zr 0.15 Ca y) Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7-δ compounds the Tc decrease with the dopant content and they show temperature dependent dc magnetic susceptibility, in the normal state.
