Feedback energy recycling is one of the most important energy-saving technologies of diesel generator sets. The current methods of recovering feedback energy are mainly by the energy storage device. However, this method has disadvantages such as the big cost and large area of space. In order to improve the efficiency of feedback energy recycling, the use of feedback energy saving diesel generator set is an effective solution. By improving diesel generator set control system algorithm and ensuring the safety of diesel generator sets, the feedback energy can drive diesel generators running. After the actual verification, this solution is correct, the improved algorithm is effective and the energy-saving effect significantly.

This paper analyzed the typical power process of construction machinery, led to the idea of energy saving and the concept of generalized energy saving, put forward energy saving control system of construction machinery according to the present two typical control technologies of construction machinery. In the quantitative analysis of energy saving effect, aiming to the shortcomings of the current energy saving technology difficult to quantify, the paper puts forward a formula of the global energy saving target, explains comparison and evaluation methods of energy saving effect, and gives the concrete realization modes of the global energy saving and generalized energy saving: full electronic control technology and distributed control technology. Finally the paper prospects the future development trend of energy saving technology in construction machinery.

The diesel generator sets digital control system based on DSP is studied in this paper. The principles of voltage and speed control are analyzed. The main DSP chip is 16-bit fixed-point TMS320LF2407A. The hardware design, the former channels, the after channels and the CAN controller are accomplished in this paper. The simulation results indicate the controller has high-performance processing capabilities and it can meet the need of Generator Sets' real-time control and performance requirements.

Railways are an energy-efficient mode of transportation. Even so, efforts are being made to attain even further energy savings. The latest train-car model of the Shinkansen bullet train, while achieving enriched functionality and improved performance, has attained a 49% energy reduction compared with the 0-series Shinkansen train-cars that debuted at the start of Shinkansen's operation. Also, in the underlying train control system, technologies that will lead to energy reduction have been developed. In order to achieve further energy savings and higher-performance train control, we are developing a new train control system known as Automatic Train Protection and Block System (sometimes referred to ATP-Block system here). This new control system produces a high energy-saving effect compared with conventional signal systems based on ground equipment. We believe that realization of low-cost, highly functional energy-saving Railways will bring back users of automobiles and airlines to Railways, contributing to global energy saving and helping to prevent environmental destruction.

To reduce the enormous waste of electric energy in tunnel lighting, an intelligent control system of road tunnel lighting which can realize the effect of illumination moving with the vehicle is proposed. In this system, the group control of LED lamps is realized based on Air Lamp lighting technology through the wide area fusion Internet of Things (WF-IoT). By the group control of LED lamps, the tunnel lighting is divided into several illumination segments. When the vehicle is detected by the surveillance camera, the corresponding LED group can be adjusted to the demand luminance according to the environmental conditions and traffic information. The other LED groups maintain 10% of the maximum luminance to reduce energy consumption. To realize the effect of illumination moving with the vehicle, the structure of the intelligent control system and hardware system is designed, and the length of the illumination segment is calculated. To evaluate the lighting effect of the intelligent control system, a simulation model of tunnel lighting is established. In addition, the energy-saving effect of the intelligent control system is evaluated. The results show that the intelligent control system can meet the requirements of illumination in a tunnel and have a notable energy-saving effect.

Considering the central air conditioning system is highly susceptible to interferences from external environment, this paper established a dynamic mathematical model for chilled water system with the air conditioning area, fan coil unit and air conditioning area interference factors. Selection of chilled water system as a controlled object, designed the energy saving control system for central air-conditioning. The inputs of PID controller are deviation of actual temperature and setting temperature, and the change rate of the deviation; output is operation frequency of pump. Experiment shows that, PID control system in 90% time operating at a frequency of 10Hz-40Hz, average is 32.5Hz. Compared with no control system, the pump power consumption was reduced 33.9%.In conclusion, PID control in the central air conditioning system have a good energy saving effect.
