AbstractWe examined and keyed out the subgenera of the genus Lepidocyrtus mostly created by Yoshii. Although many of these subgenera of the genus Lepidocyrtus are difficult to apply in Europe, America, and Africa, they are easily applicable in East and Southeast Asia. The species of Southeast Asia are placed in these subgenera and a key to the subgenera is provided. A new species, Lepidocyrtus (Lanocyrtus) felpei from Xinjiang, People's Republic of China, is described and the species Lepidocyrtus (Lanocyrtus) fimetarius Gisin is redescribed. Although the Lepidocyrtus fauna of the whole of East Asia differs from the Holarctic fauna, the Central and Northeast Asian fauna are similar in subgeneric make up to the North American fauna, slightly less similar to the European fauna, and totally unlike the Southeast Asian fauna.

A new species, Anteon amabilis, is described from the People’s Republic of China (Zhejiang Prov., Baishanzu). Also Dryinidae were collected and studied from Xizang Zhang Autonomous Region (= Tibet) for the first time that resulted in the discovery and description of the previously unknown male of Anteon fidum Olmi. Additions to the Xu et al. (2000) key are provided so that these species can be discriminated.

In 1988, an incomplete skeleton of a stegosaurian dinosaur was found in Lower Cretaceous strata of the Ordos Basin of China by the Dinosaur Project (China – Canada – Alberta – Ex Terra). The material includes an articulated series of vertebrae from the last three cervicals to the first five caudals, and the right ilium. The specimen is identified as a new species called Wuerhosaurus ordosensis. It is the only Lower Cretaceous stegosaur known with an articulated series of dorsal vertebrae, which have been reduced to eleven in number.

The bilateral meeting between the United States and North Korea, whichwas held in Hanoi in February 2019, has not resulted in any agreementbetween the two parties. Furthermore, North Korea’s construction activityof a nuclear development facility in Tongchan-ri has threatened the possibilityof any agreement between both states and has shown North Korea’spoor commitment to denuclearization. In order to understand the attitudeshown by North Korea, it is important to consider the presence of anotherdominant actor in East Asia, the People’s Republic of China (PRC). Thisresearch aims to study the significance of the North Korean denuclearizationissue for the PRC, as well as the PRC’s position in the issue. This researchutilizes a document-based data-collecting method, which includesofficial documents released by the PRC as well as literatures that havecarried out earlier studies on the topic. This research has shown that thePRC possesses significant interests and power in the denuclearization ofNorth Korea, which require the country to maintain an unclear stance inthe denuclearization process of North Korea.

The genus Lamellitettigodes Günther, 1939 from Southeast Asia is reviewed. The genus currently includes seven species and is transferred to Tetriginae Rambur, 1838. Two new species are described: Lamellitettigodes novaeguineaesp. nov. from New Guinea and Lamellitettigodes karwinkelisp. nov. from Yunnan, People’s Republic of China. Lamellitettigodes palawanicus Günther, 1939 stat. nov. is no longer regarded as a subspecies of L. contractus, but a separate species. Two species are transferred from Euparatettix Hancock, 1904 to Lamellitettigodes: Lamellitettigodes sagittatus (Bolívar, 1887) comb. nov. and Lamellitettigodes cultratus (Bolívar, 1898) comb. nov. One species is transferred from Tetrix Latreille, 1802 to Lamellitettigodes - Lamellitettigodes signatus (Bolívar, 1887) comb. nov. Xistra tricristata sumatrana Bolívar, 1898 syn. nov., Xistra tricristata Bolívar, 1898 syn. nov., and Probolotettix corticolus Blackith & Blackith, 1987 syn. nov. are synonymized with Lamellitettigodes contractus (Bolívar, 1887). Probolotettix kevani Blackith & Blackith, 1987 syn. nov. is synonymized with Euparatettix personatus (Bolívar, 1887). Additionally, in the genus Lamellitettix Hancock, 1904, Lamellitettix acutus Hancock, 1904 stat. rev. is retransferred from a subspecies of Lamellitettix gallinaceus (Stål, 1877) to a separate species status.

A new species of the genus Lycodon from the Gaoligong Mountains, Yunnan, China is described, Lycodon gongshan sp. nov. This species is similar to L. fasciatus, but differs in its longer tail, especially in males, and larger number of subcaudals, especially in females. The number of ventrals and maximum body size is greater in both sexes of the new species. From the Lycodon ruhstrati group, the new species differs in the colour of the belly and the dorsal bands. This new species seems to be endemic to Yunnan Province, People’s Republic of China. The holotype of Ophites fasciatus Anderson, 1879 appears to have been lost, so a neotype is designated in order to address the status of this taxon.

AbstractA new genus, Mirocaudagen. nov., and a new species, Mirocauda albilineanasp. nov., are described and illustrated. Because of the nature of the post-tibial spur, this genus belongs to the tribe Tropidocephalini. A key to the 17 Chinese genera (including 3 subgenera) of the tribe Tropidocephalini is provided. Two new synonymies are reported: Malaxa aurunca Yang et Yang, 1986 is a junior synonym of Malaxella flava Ding et Hu, 1986 and Specinervures liquida Yang et Yang, 1986 is a junior synonym of Specinervures interrupta Ding et Hu, 1986. A checklist of genera in the tribe Tropidocephalini from the People's Republic of China is appended.

The genus Rapisma McLachlan, 1866 (montane lacewings) is a rare and little known group of the family Ithonidae (Insecta: Neuroptera). There have been 21 described species of Rapisma, and all of them are distributed from East Asia, South Asia and Southeast Asia. Here I report a new species of Rapisma from northwestern Yunnan, China, namely Rapisma weixiense sp. nov. The new species belongs to a group of Rapisma species with very short antennae.
