Anomalous behavior of soil temperatures at Ste. Anne de Bellevue, affecting long-term statistics, appears to have been rectified by replacement of the sensors. The primary symptom of the malfunction was an apparent precipitous cooling under melting snow; the long-term effect was an apparent cooling trend of about 0.5 °C∙yr−1.
