Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a rare soft tissue sarcoma characterized by the proliferation of spindle cells arranged in a storiform pattern. Here we report a case of DFSP presenting as a bluish-black atrophic plaque. The tumor had the histopathologic characteristics of both the pigmented and atrophic variants of DFSP. We describe the histopathologic, molecular, and imaging features of this patient and review other cases of DFSP that have been reported in the literature. Early identification of this DFSP variant can help clinicians implement clinical management strategies to prevent recurrence.

Liposarcoma is a common soft tissue sarcoma. However, its occurrence in pancreas or stomach is extremely rare. In the present study, a rare case of a 55-year-old female with sclerosing liposarcoma in pancreas and stomach is presented.  Ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography examinations were performed, which revealed a pancreatic mass. Subsequently, the patient underwent surgical resection of the tail of the pancreas and spleen and partial resection of stomach following the identification of a second mass. After surgery, the patient received no adjuvant treatment. Subsequent to 3 years of clinical follow up, the patient remains alive without recurrence or distant metastasis so far. As far as we know, this is the first reported case of sclerosing liposarcoma involving pancreas and stomach.

Urethral tumors are rare and aggressive. They usually affect men (2:1) and occur more commonly in white (85% of cases). Soft tissue sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of tumors that arise from embryonic mesoderm. It represents 1% of all cases of urinary tract malignancies and rarely primary affect the ureter. We report a case of male urethral sarcoma. To date, only two similar cases have been published in literature.
