Abstract The article examines the nature and importance of using aesthetic and therapeutic concept and educational logotherapy, in particular, for creating a special emotionally comfortable socioeducational environment for primary education The author has represented inteipretation of foreign scholars' views (J. Bugental, V. Frankl, A. Maslow, R. May, J. Moreno, C. Rogers et al) on such terms as “communication ”, “aesthetotherapy ”, “educational logotherapy” etc. An attempt has been made to analyze the social coTitent of pedagogical activity in the context of using logotherapy in primary school based on an agogical paradigm. In the scope of the article, the specific of using the therapeutic metaphor in the educational environment of primary' school has been represented as well as the basic stages of its implementation have been determined. These stages are the following: description of the storyline, persuasion and binding. The author has defined the role of the “living metaphors” in organization of the therapeutic interaction between the teacher and primary' schoolchildren. Particular attention has been paid to formation of the humanistic competency among primary schoolchildren; this competency is to be based on their understanding of the following philosophical and pedagogical categories: a norm (as a means and a results of pupils' social activity), freedom (as a mean and a result of individual self-expression among primary schoolchildren) and happiness (as an individual self-expression among primaryr schoolchildren). The author has assessed the role of deflection method and paradoxical intention for the social development of the pupil and further formation of the individual. Additional attention has been paid to determination of the socioeducational and psychological and pedagogical potential of such leading method in logotherapy as “The Socratic dialogue” (or “The Socratic circle”): as well have been highlighted the main stages of its implementation: consent (search for what pupil may agree), doubt (an expression of doubts towards weak arguments of interlocutor) and arguments (the teacher must convey' one’s opinion, without any resistance from the child): have been represented different various algorithms of its realization: the method of “aquarium”, “panel method” and “questioning technique”.

In this article, we provide an overview of transference-focused psychotherapy for patients with pathological narcissism and narcissistic personality disorder (TFP-N). In TFP-N we have modified and refined the tactics and techniques of TFP, an evidence-based treatment for borderline personality disorder, to meet the specific challenges of working with patients with narcissistic personality pathology whose retreat from reality into an illusory grandiosity makes them particularly difficult to engage in treatment. We first describe a model of narcissistic pathology based on considerations of psychological structure stemming from object relations theory. This model provides a unifying understanding of the core structure of narcissistic pathology, the pathological grandiose self, that underlies the impairments in self and interpersonal functioning of those with narcissistic pathology across the levels of personality organization (from high functioning to borderline to malignant). We then delineate the clinical process of working with patients with pathological narcissism and narcissistic personality disorder. Starting with the assessment process, using a detailed clinical example, we guide the reader through the progression of TFP-N as it helps the patient move from the distorted, unintegrated sense of self underlying the narcissistic presentation to the more integrated, realistic sense of self that characterizes healthier personality functioning. In TFP-N the focus on the disturbed interpersonal patterns of relating in the here and now of the therapeutic interaction is the vehicle to diminish grandiosity and improve relatedness, thereby effecting enduring changes in mental representation and real-world functioning.

Background and objective: Clinical practice in acute inpatient environments is complex and demanding for clinical staff. To facilitate service user recovery, it is essential that personnel working in these environments are competent and confident in a range of therapeutic interaction skills, which can have impact in a brief period. This paper describes an exploratory study which determined the outcomes of a brief therapeutic engagement education and training short course for staff working in adult inpatient acute wards. As far as we know this was the first time, based on evidence from earlier research involving service users that Heron’s Six Category Intervention Analysis and solution focused brief therapy (SFBT) have been combined in an education and training short course that was coproduced and delivered in partnership with service users for staff working in acute environments.Methods: The short course explored the myriad applications of the six categories of intervention initially proposed by Heron and the widespread applicability of SFBT. The programme evaluation adopted focus group methodology and examined: (1) how useful the training content was to daily practice and how relevant the skills learn were to interactions with service user residing on the ward; (2) the factors than helped enable the transference of the learning to the ward environment as well as any barriers; (3) personal learning; and (4) strengths of the learning experience and suggestions for improvement to the training and learning experience.Results: Feedback from participants reflected a high degree of skill and knowledge acquisition and enhancement. Staff found the content of the training useful and helpful to their daily practice as it aided in increasing confidence, therapeutic interventions and care-planning. Skills learnt by the trainees were considered relevant to interactions with service users residing on the ward. Factors that helped to enable encounters with service users, as well as the barriers, when transferring the learning to the ward environment were discussed and included managerial support, demand for beds, time, opportunity and staffing shortages. Regarding personal learning, staff reported feeling more able to connect with service users when employing SFBT techniques and Heron’s intervention approaches and felt that the training validated their current working practice.Conclusions: The SFBT training appears to have provided an interactional communication toolkit for healthcare professionals and could be further embraced given the right circumstances e.g. managerial support and attitude change of nursing staff in general. Further research is needed to gain an understanding of the effect of short and concentrated education and training programmes aimed at staff members working within adult acute inpatient mental healthcare settings, as well as measuring whether the activity, i.e. healthcare professional–service user interactions, is meaningful to service user outcomes.

The objective of this study was to investigate elements of the personal and psychiatric history, as well as the challenges related to motherhood, of a young schizophrenic female, through person-centered therapeutic interaction. The investigation had an exploratory scope, undertaken in a teaching hospital and data were collected during nondirective interaction on the part of the nurse with a young schizophrenic woman who had been treated in the institution for 10 years. Thematic analysis of the content was undertaken, with emphasis on the nuclei of meaning, identification of the themes and definition of the categories. The patient, called L. in this study, was 30 years old, had a two-year-old child and was three months pregnant when data were collected. Her trajectory was characterized by doubts, fears and uncertainties. The episodes of hospitalization, the coexistence with other patients, and the medications promoted insight into the symptoms, and acceptance of the diagnosis. The main challenge was experiencing pregnancy and the puerperium concomitantly with the psychiatric treatment. The interpersonal relationship established evidenced that, the young woman felling understood and that her needs were attended, overcame several difficulties she had reported and felt fulfilled and integrated into her social environment.

Приводимые в статье данные об организационной структуре, методиках (направлениях) и основополагающих принципах психотерапевтического метода Терапии творческим самовыражением М.Е.Бурно (ТТСБ), как части Клинической классической психотерапии, Терапии духовной культурой, позволяют получить более точные представления о ТТСБ и овладеть навыками использования данного метода в лечении и реабилитации пациентов с психиатрическим профилем заболевания. Рассказывается о показаниях и противопоказаниях к использованию метода ТТСБ. О непосредственных алгоритмах и психотерапевтических методиках осуществления помощи. Затрагивается вопрос значимости личной — творческой роли специалиста в ТТСБ, осуществляющего Психосоциальную терапию и реабилитацию. Рассматривается феномен особого психотерапевтического эмоционального интимного контакта с шизофреническими, шизотипическими пациентами, являющегося существенным компонентом продуктивного терапевтического взаимодействия с данной группой обратившихся за помощью. Рассказывается об особой терапевтической среде психотерапевтического метода ТТСБ в Психосоциальной терапии и реабилитации. The data presented in the article on the organizational structure, methodologies and fundamental principles of psychotherapy method of Therapy by means of creative self-expression by M.Ye.Burno (TCSEB), as a part of Clinical classical psychotherapy, Therapy by intellectual culture, allows us to get more accurate understanding of TCSEB and master the skills of using this method in treatment and rehabilitation of psychiatric disease profile patients. The indications and contraindications for using the TCSEB method are explained. The direct algorithms and psychotherapy methodologies of helping mentally ill patients are mentioned here. We also talk about special personal and creative role of a TCSEB specialist who performs Psychosocial therapy and rehabilitation. We emphasise the importance of psychotherapeutic deep emotional contact, working with schizophrenic and schizotypal patients as an essential component of productive therapeutic interaction with this group of patients. The special therapeutic environment of the psychotherapeutic method of TCSEB in Psychosocial therapy and rehabilitation is described.
