The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of the application of VAT on financial performance in a sample of companies operating in the sectors (retailing of luxury goods, food fragmentation, agriculture and transportation). Linear regression method was used to measure relationship and effect by using STATA in standard analysis and economic models and appreciation. The study found that the financial variables (sales volume, company size, value added tax) accounted for 0.36% of the change in the value of the value added tax. ROA, while 0.64 is the effect of other factors. Based on the results of the study, the study reached several recommendations, the most important of which was to conduct extensive economic studies related to the effect of value added on the indicators of profitability, liquidity and other financial indicators in all Saudi companies so that the results can be generalized. Companies must also develop manufacturing and marketing strategies that mitigate the impact of VAT, so that they can increase sales and maintain their usual profit levels.

The export of timber can be used by unscrupulous taxpayers in illegal schemes to reimburse VAT from the budget to obtain an unjustified tax benefit by overstating the amount of tax deductions, which confirms the relevance of the research. The subject of the paper is the economic relations between the exporting country and the importer of goods, works or services and their impact on VAT taxation. The aim of the study is to identify the vulnerabilities of the current tax legislation in the field of value-added tax reimbursement and analyze the improvement and optimization of the mechanism for administering value-added tax to ensure national economic security and preserve federal budget revenues as a result of reducing the amount of budget funds reimbursed to taxpayers. The author applies such methods as abstract-logical, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction. As a result, the study reveals the problems of illegal VAT refunds in the export of timber associated with the use of new methods by taxpayers to minimize tax liabilities and the complication of the form of contractual relations. The author makes a conclusion about a possible solution to the problems of tax administration when taxpayers carry out export operations with exported products, using the experience of the functioning of the Charter of the agro-industrial complex. The novelty of the study lies in the proposal to adopt a ban on multi-stage sales and purchases by the tax authority as the basis for regulating the export of products outside the territory of the EAEU. This will exclude artificial price increases. The results obtained can be used in the further development of the tax administration system, in the analytical work of state bodies authorized to control and supervise taxes and fees.

The revenue collected from the value added tax constitutes the main income of the Kosovo government. For this reason, this research has a great importance in the formulation of effective policies in Kosovo that will subsequently improve the efficiency of tax collection of Value Added and growing fiscal and budgetary stability. This research it will have a descriptive analysis of the trends of VAT collection in Kosovo from 2005- 2015 years using different analytical techniques to examine trends and data structure over the years. We have used two types of analysis; One is the descriptive analysis of trends and the other is the contrast of the descriptive analysis of trends that is the econometric technique used to analyze the VAT effect on economic growth in Kosovo. The source of data for this study is secondary through the Annual Financial Report of the Ministry of Finance of Kosovo and the IMF. In order to analyze the data generated for the study, the statistical tool utilized is OLS technique (multiple regression). One of the key findings in the collection of VAT has been its dependence on the border. Revenue collection is among the most pressing problems and such situation does not guarantee a country's budgetary stability. Also, based on the findings we noted that the VAT share of the gathering in gross domestic product of the Interior of the country has been low compared to other countries in Europe developing, reflecting a low level of economic development. Also from econometric analysis is confirmed that the regression coefficient shows that we have a VAT impact on GDP in Kosovo, because the level of significance is .000, or includes the rate of 1%. Also, the correlation between VAT and GDP shows a strong positive relationship, or statistically interpreted with the increase of VAT, will increase the GDP of Kosovo, these two elements conclude that VAT has a significant impact on economic growth in Kosovo. Furthermore, this research highlight some key issues that policy makers should consider dealing with the collection and effective use of revenue collected from VAT, to improve growth.

The aim of presented paper was to create and subsequently apply the Modified 3D Creditworthy Model (MCWM) of performance reflecting sectoral characteristics and financial specificities of the selected sample of Slovak tour operators over the years 2013 – 2017. The intention of this research study was to implement the key financial indicators and appropriate prediction models into both dimensions of the traditional 2D Creditworthy Model of performance and to supplement its third dimension applying the selected modern assessment methods – the Economic Value Added and the Return On Net Assets as we consider them to be one of the most important indicators of future success and company's financial growth. This modification will help to better identify the current financial position of tour operators and more accurately identify causes that hinder the development of financial performance of the selected sample of enterprises. However, after adjusting the upper and lower quartile averages of a particular industry, this methodology is applicable in the wider context of enterprises, not only those operating in the tourism sector.
