Abstract: The leadership of God's servant raises a polemic because there are still those who think about God's servant being only servant and not being leader, however, in that opinion it is true. The researcher found a superior idea from Matthew 20:25-28 that placed God's servant not only as servant but also as leader. The method used in this research is the research developed by Walter C. Kaiser, Jr. in the book Towards Exegetical Theology: Biblical Exegesis for Teaching and Teaching, which addresses: contextual analysis, syntactic analysis, verbal analysis, theological analysis and homiletical analysis. The researchers, after observing the principle of exegesis presented by Kaiser, Jr., found that the text of Matthew 20: 25-28 could be discussed the themes of the leadership of God's servant who studied contextual and syntactical analysis providing support for the theme. Researchers also pay attention to verbal analysis, theological analysis and homiletical analysis, the results of which support the characteristics of God's servant leadership in Matthew 20:25-28, namely: communicative, assertive, gentle, humble, serving, willing to sacrifice.

Parents have the potential to doubt the the teacher’s quality in teaching the students, that is why a barometer or indicators are needed so that the teacher as an educator can be assessed objectively. Ideas built by the experts are needed as the best solution as well as biblical principles to find the right formula. This study uses the exegesis method which is seen through contextual analysis, syntactical analysis, verbal analysis, theological analysis and homiletical analysis. This study found what is meant by parents' assessment on the teachers’ teaching quality according to 2 Timothy 2:15-21 is the act of assessing the intelligence, the potential done by the father or the mother regarding good quality or services in facilitating the activities of learning or training through explanations, questions and answers, discussions, and expressing the opinions guided by competent educators or instructors, who are characterized by: teaching professionally (verse 15), teaching correctly in accordance with learning material (paragraph 15), teaching in accordance with learning objectives (verse 16-19), teaching with the right media (verse 20) and teaching with the right method (verse 21).

              The role of woman until now still encounters various problems, such as in the leadership. Do  women have decent capacity to lead, or they are on second class under men. This research, brings up to the readers the original understanding about the role of woman especially in leadership. To see woman leadership, the researchers using exegesis method by utilizing four Bible analysis, these are: contextual analysis, syntactical analysis, verbal analysis, theological analysis, and homiletical analysis.             Study which was done toward this research found out that woman essential leadership is how the man and woman aware that leadership which is designed by God, the Creator, is leadership based on function, where the man and the woman realize their roles and function corresponding with  God’s created nature. Man are leader, who lead with obedience and love. Whereas woman are under man’s authority who has to be followed with respect and full of love.

The application of space syntax to the study of urban history—in this case, that of Tel Aviv and Jaffa (present-day Tel Aviv–Yafo)—can add a valuable, quantifiable component to the understanding of urban processes. However, it also demonstrates that historical spatio-syntactical analysis can prove misleading when interpreted separately from other types of historical evidence—for example, the ethnic conflicts that led to the formation of a strong divide between Tel Aviv and Jaffa despite their contiguous geography and interlaced street networks. A rigorous use of spatio-syntactic analysis in combination with “conventional” historical research methods can reveal the tensions and interplays between the spatio-physical and social forces that shape the life of cities, and it can invigorate our understanding of urban growth and transformationpatterns throughout history.

Language Description

For government or leaders, public speaking is an important way to show the statesmanship and eloquence. It is a means of attracting groups of people who come from different classes. As the president of the United States, Donald Trump’s speaking talent plays an important role in the general election. Stylistics, which uses theories of modern linguistics to solve problems, aims at studying linguistic features and revealing the effect and function of pragmatic expression. This article selected Donald Trump’s three typical speeches, which studies from the perspective of stylistics on three major aspects—language description, textual analysis and contextual analysis. The analysis yielded the following results, 1) Language description consists of lexical analysis and syntactic analysis. On lexical level, Trump tends to use more abstract nouns and first person plural pronoun to make the addresses persuasive and more acceptable. Syntactically, for the sake of expressing information effectively and attracting more support, simple sentences and declarative sentences are prevailing in the speeches; 2) On the aspect of textual analysis, Trump employs topical division, problem-solution division and chronological division in an overlapping way in main body of speeches and creates crescendo in closure; 3) Contextual analysis shows that language varies from situations and they are formal and highly-structured. In a word, to analyze Donald Trump’s speech on stylistic features is significant for us on observing the features of his speeches and word-using habits.

This paper seeks to illustrate that African politicians are not motivated by the call to serve, but are rather interested in amassing wealth, power and positions for themselves. Patterns of bad governance which have sunk into the marrow of political vultures causing countries to wallow in socio-political and economic degradation are equally identified. The paper further contends that the socio-political perspective can be transformed if the masses choose to rise against “political vultures” who desecrate the servant-leadership policy. Consequently, this paper advocates a servant-leadership approach as a major prerequisite for leadership scramble for the socio-political and economic buoyancy of the society. Adopting contextual analysis as its analytical standpoint, the paper, through the lens of servant-leadership theory, elaborates the fact that A Parliament of Vultures exhibits common realities in Nigeria’s political landscape as well as the projection of drama as a channel of raising awareness and conscientizing the people, hence, the place of theatre of conscientization in Nigerian dramaturgy.

This paper presents a complete numeral amount recognition module which is integrated in an automatic system aimed at reading all types of French checks. This module is combined with an automatic reading system of literal amounts. This complete working system, called LIREChèques, is developed by MATRA MS&I and is now in advanced test at SERINTEL, a pilot site. Two aspects of the numeral amount recognition system are particularly emphasized: the numeral recognition stage itself and the syntactic analysis stage. The numeral recognition module relies on a combination of two individual classifiers, the first one is based on concavity measurements, the second one on both statistical and structural features. The syntactic analysis, called syntactic/contextual analysis, is combined with contextual information to take into account the segmentation behaviour and the presence of literal entities in the numeral amount. We demonstrate that very good performances can be obtained on digits such as those extracted from numeral amounts since a substitution rate of 0.06% while still preserving a recognition rate of near 87% can be achieved. As for the syntactic/contextual analysis stage, results obtained on a test set (containing checks from more than 40 different banks and 15/ of typed checks, thus being a good representation of the real tests realized on site) show clearly that introduction of contextual information in association with syntactic analysis allows to process much more numeral amounts than a simple syntactic analysis and increases perceptibility of the recognition rate.

The article presents results of an analysis of titles of English self-help books as animportant phenomenon of pop culture. The focus was placed on the role of the title bothas a key factor for the consumer decision-making process and as a carrier of culturalthought or an element of culture. Individual titles of self-help publications were dividedaccording to, among others, their length, structural and semantic features. The lexicallayer was discussed with particular emphasis on the elements that stand out from theselected research material. A syntactic analysis was undertaken in order to identify themost common structures to determine whether there is a rule for titling self-help booksthat would ensure their commercial success. The article also mentions the problemof intertextual references and rhetorical procedures that make titles more attractiveand perform advertising functions. The subject under scrutiny spans several branchesof science, including psychology and sociology.
