Twak has intimate relationship with the Doshas, Sparsnendriyaas a whole is considered as Vatasthana. Twak and Rasadhatu are considered as Bahya Rogmarg. Eczema is widely considered to be specific type of Kushtha known as Vicharchika, with complex pathology, varying presentations, and various treatment modules within the context of Ayurveda. The Kushtha is generally used as a universal term for all kinds of skin disorders, which is further classified in two divisions i.e. Mahakushta and Kshudrakushta and Vicharchika is mentioned under Kshudrakushta. Vicharchika is considered as Rakta Pradoshaja Vikaras. Recurrences and chronic course is a distinct feature for this disease. Eczema is primarily managed with top-ical steroids, antiseptic, immune-suppressors drugs to inhibit immune and inflammatory response. Howev-er, it does not provide treatment for the root causative factors. Ayurveda provides principle-based treatment for eczema by cleansing vitiated Dosha and balancing the Dosha and Dhatus. The case report involved a female patient of Pitta-Kaphaj Prakruti with exudate, intense itching, and erythema of the skin.Within one month of the beginning the treatment, eczematous lesions were improving and even after two months, the patient showed no signs of recurrence.

The purpose of this article was to present a case report of 11–year old female patient with a large osteolytic mandibular lesion which healed after endodontic treatment. The patient was referred for radio diagnostics due to an incidental finding of a large osteolytic lesion of the area of the left lower first and second premolars in the panoramic radiograph taken before orthodontic treatment. CBCT was performed and the patient asked to have teeth 33-35 treated by endodontics before surgery. The patient missed the surgical appointment and when she reappeared several months later, the lesion showed signs of healing thus surgery were aborted. The presented case testifies to the observation that even large osteolytic lesions can heal after endodontic treatment without surgical approach.

Reticular erythematous mucinosis (REM) was first described 50 years ago, but only around 100 case reports in English have been published. Its relation with other inflammatory skin disorders is still being debated. We report a case of REM, including the clinical and histopathological findings. Also, a systematic review of 94 English-language reported cases is provided. The described criteria for clinical and histopathological diagnosis are highlighted in order to REM can be confidently diagnosed.

Abstract Introduction The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been declared as public health emergency of international concern. India is also facing this crisis with increasing number of patients being reported day by day. Here, we present a case report of COVID-19-positive patient treated with homoeopathy. Case Profile A 60-year-old female patient with fever for 4 days, cough and difficulty in breathing, headache, sore throat, loose stools and frequent urination with burning and generalised weakness for 7 days was considered for treatment in the present study. Based on the symptomatology, Arsenicum album 30 and Bryonia alba 30 were prescribed to her. Conclusion A patient of COVID-19 was successfully treated by homoeopathic medicines based on symptom similarity. Individualised homoeopathic intervention with precautionary measures can be an answer to the ongoing crisis.

Cystic adventitial disease is a condition where mucinous cyst(s) develop within the adventitia of blood vessels, especially arteries. The most affected vessel is the popliteal artery while the upper limb vasculature is seldom involved. To our knowledge, there are only 2 articles reporting this disease in the ulnar artery. We present a case of a 52-year-old female patient, a manual worker in a clothing factory, with a month history of increasing pain in her right wrist and gradual weakness that incapacitated her for work activities. She was finally treated surgically and an adventitial cyst of the ulnar artery compressing the ulnar nerve was diagnosed.

Objectives. Psoriasis makes a relative contraindication for lithium treatment which can exacerbate its symptoms or induce it itself. On the other hand, lithium exerts immuno-modulatory activity. Case study. In this paper, a case of a female patient is presented. The patient has been treated since 2012 for bipolar affective illness (bipolar disorder – BD) and psori­asis, which occurred for the first time during a depress­ive episode. Despite intensive pharmacological treatment, both as inpatient and outpatient, a satisfactory improvement of affective illness has not been obtained. After the introduction of lithium, a remission of BD was achieved as well as a reduction of psoriatic changes, which have been maintained until now (2021). Conclusion. The remission of Bipolar Disorder (BD) on lithium can suggest that the patient belongs to the group of the so-called excellent lithium responders. In the presen­ted case remission of psoriasis was observed during lithium treatment. This case report must be treated with caution because remission could be spontaneous and the patient needs further observation.
