The assessment of the technical condition of the structure in industrial facilities is sometimes very difficult, even for experienced construction specialists. First, this applies to facilities in which there are quite specific cubature constructions, as objects located in the coal mine facility, or coal-fired CHP plants. In the case of energy plants, such a typical construction that causes the most problems when assessing the technical condition is coal or fine coal storage tank usually in the form of bunker batteries supplying power boilers. In practice, access to the interior of such bunkers is possible only when the power unit is put out of service (boiler extinguish) in order to repair, upgrade or expand it. In presented paper on the example of two coal bunkers (from a battery consisting of four such constructions) of one of the power plants located in southern Poland, the authors want to present and discuss some specific problems that occurred in the assessment and analysis of the technical condition of this type of specific industrial structure.

When operating a thermal power plant (TPP), it is of great importance to ensure the reliability and safety of the enterprise while minimizing the cost of maintenance and repair of equipment. The currently used strategy for preventive maintenance is to carry out periodic work at predetermined times, regardless of the technical condition of the equipment. At the same time, the operating timefeatures, heterogeneous loads and, consequently, various equipment wear are not taken into account. Almost always there is an episodic deviation of the operating parameters of a particular equipment from the nominal values, which leads to an intensification of the wear processes and thereby a decrease in the residual life of this equipment. Therefore, the urgent task is to create tools for information and analytical support for planning repair and maintenance work based on the assessment and prediction of the condition of equipment using data from operational monitoring and computer modeling. In this paper, we pose the problem of creating an information system for assessing and predicting the states of an energy boiler as one of the key nodes of a TPP.

The paper presents an alternative approach to metrological support and assessment of the technical condition of rolling bearings in operation. The analysis of existing approaches, including methods of vibration diagnostics, envelope analysis, wavelet analysis, etc. Considers the possibility of applying a phase-chronometric method for support on the basis of neurodiagnostics bearing life cycle on the basis of the unified format of measurement information. The possibility of diagnosing a rolling bearing when analyzing measurement information from the shaft and separator was evaluated.
