Healthcare and medical equipment sustainability is very important, we need to have an efficient and high performance devices. If such systems or devices are fail every time this will effect patients and the medical system at all. Healthcare equipments like ventilators and other devices nowadays has a good priority and important because of Covid19 which effects all countries now. Since these devices exposed some defects which will effect on its role it is very important to study and analyze such defects, classify them and how to apply CMMS in such maintenance operations. This paper aims to use CMMS in maintenance operations of equipments in healthcare sector. Also a classification of failures of such equipments is generated to be an input for CMMS programs. The second thing is to use Equipment maintenance (EM) number in classifying such devices to be ready for using CMMS. A sample of medical devices are studied and the equipment management number (EM) is calculated here for some selected devices if it reaches some specific value it needs maintenance and CMMS will manage the maintenance operations required. CMMS procedures, transactions and benefits are discussed in this paper. It is found that in the first step we should determine the devices included in inspection and maintenance operations by using EM number, then specifying the maintenance period and inspection frequency after that following some specific steps to manage the maintenance operations followed by CMMS programs. Equipment maintenance (EM) number is very important to determine whether the equipment need maintenance or not, and it also determine the inspection and maintenance duration and so such devices be ready to be used all the time. CMMS can be efficiently used in maintenance operations of healthcare equipments. The use of CMMS software or application is used in processing entered data of devices or systems following the commands step-by-step to construct a CMMS system for each plant or system, this will simplify the monitoring and inspections and maintenance operations which increasing availability of the device and decreasing downtime

In the construction industry plant and equipment one of the important and main sources is to increase productivity of the project. To keep available the plant and equipment need all of technical, administrative, managerial action during the whole life cycle of the project. The study investigates about issue of plant and equipment maintenance management in Malaysian Construction Companies. The aim of this research paper is to improve the efficiency of plant and equipment maintenance management in Selangor construction industry by using Computerize Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The initial stage of the study involved comprehensive literature reviews to gather the data about importance of maintenance, previous implemented maintenance system and types of maintenance system as well as information about Computerize Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Quantitative research approach was adopted through questionnaire surveys. The analysis method is mainly derived from descriptive analysis. Thus, this paper explored the potential application to reduce total downtime and failure of plant and equipment by improving the effectiveness of maintenance management system. This system is computer based program simplifies and decease the duration of finding fault compare to the presently used paper-based reporting.

The article provides an overview of modern high-performance combined-cycle plants and gas turbine plants with waste heat boilers. The forecast for the introduction of gas turbine equipment at TPPs in the world and in Russia is presented. The classification of gas turbines according to the degree of energy efficiency and operational characteristics is given. Waste heat boilers are characterized in terms of design and associated performance and efficiency. To achieve high operating parameters of gas turbine and boiler equipment, it is necessary to use, among other things, modern water treatment equipment. The article discusses modern effective technologies, the leading place among which is occupied by membrane, and especially baromembrane methods of preparing feed water-waste heat boilers. At the same time, the ion exchange technology remains one of the most demanded at TPPs in the Russian Federation.

Background: The cloud computing is the modern trend in high-performance computing. Cloud computing becomes very popular due to its characteristic of available anywhere, elasticity, ease of use, cost-effectiveness, etc. Though the cloud grants various benefits, it has associated issues and challenges to prevent the organizations to adopt the cloud.

Objective: The objective of this paper is to cover the several perspectives of Cloud Computing. This includes a basic definition of cloud, classification of the cloud based on Delivery and Deployment Model. The broad classification of the issues and challenges faced by the organization to adopt the cloud computing model are explored. Examples for the broad classification are Data Related issues in the cloud, Service availability related issues in cloud, etc. The detailed sub-classifications of each of the issues and challenges discussed. The example sub-classification of the Data Related issues in cloud shall be further classified into Data Security issues, Data Integrity issue, Data location issue, Multitenancy issues, etc. This paper also covers the typical problem of vendor lock-in issue. This article analyzed and described the various possible unique insider attacks in the cloud environment.

Results: The guideline and recommendations for the different issues and challenges are discussed. The most importantly the potential research areas in the cloud domain are explored.

Conclusion: This paper discussed the details on cloud computing, classifications and the several issues and challenges faced in adopting the cloud. The guideline and recommendations for issues and challenges are covered. The potential research areas in the cloud domain are captured. This helps the researchers, academicians and industries to focus and address the current challenges faced by the customers.

Condition information is essential to develop effective facility management (FM) strategies. Visual inspections and walk-through surveys are common practices of condition assessment (CA), generally resulting in qualitative and subjective outcomes such as “poor”, “good”, etc. Furthermore, limited resources of the FM process demand that CA practices be efficient. Given these, the purpose of this study is to develop a resource efficient quantitative CA framework that can be less subjective in establishing a condition rating. The condition variables of the study—mean time between failures, age-based obsolescence, facility condition index, occupant feedback, and preventive maintenance cycle—are identified through different sources, such as a computerized maintenance management system, expert opinions, occupants, and industry standards. These variables provide proxy measures for determining the condition of equipment with the implementation example for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment. Fuzzy sets theory is utilized to obtain a quantitative condition rating while minimizing subjectivity, as fuzzy sets theory deals with imprecise, uncertain, and ambiguous judgments with membership relations. The proposed CA framework does not require additional resources, and the obtained condition rating value supports decision-making for building maintenance management and strategic planning in FM, with a comprehensive and less subjective understanding of condition.

This study focused on the classification of EEG signal. The study aims to make a classification with fast response and high-performance rate. Thus, it could be possible for real-time control applications as Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) systems. The feature vector is created by Wavelet transform and statistical calculations. It is trained and tested with a neural network. The db4 wavelet is used in the study. Pwelch, skewness, kurtosis, band power, median, standard deviation, min, max, energy, entropy are used to make the wavelet coefficients meaningful. The performance is achieved as 99.414% with the running time of 0.0209 seconds
