PROJECT BASED LEARNING AND ITS USE IN TEACHING

This article discusses the features and benefits of teaching based on the works of both foreign and domestic scientists and methods of project based learning used in the field of pedagogy. Today's society places new demands on high school graduates. "I forget what I hear, I remember what I see, I master what I do," said the ancient Chinese philosopher Confucius. Project Based Learning – is the knowledge that students acquire through the planning and independent performance of increasingly complex tasks. Preparing children for a real life by encouraging them to see the fruits of their labour is a topical issue for today. Graduates of schools are in demand in the context of innovation, have the skills of cognitive, educational, research and design activities, the ability and ability to independently seek methods for solving practical problems, the ability to use various methods of cognition.

Autodesk launches Autodesk Fusion 360 - a cloud-based device that combines industrial design and 3D mechanics, collaboration, machinery in one package - the first solution available for purchase on Mac App Store worldwide including Indonesia. The Fusion 360 combines design, collaboration and machine tools into one package and is now available with the security and simplicity of the Mac App Store. With Fusion 360, designers and engineers can create products that have shapes and functions and prepare them for the fabrication process by using a single device. This community service activity is in the form of Autodesk Fusion 360 application training, with a total of 26 participants. Training activities include: introduction, visual demonstration and practice. The training materials are as follows: introduction of Autodesk Fusion 360, drawing 3-dimensional shapes, 3-dimensional drawing modifications, Solid modeling, Plotting. The purpose of this devotional activity is: Introduce and explain the basic theory of drawing using the computer, especially the use of Autodesk Fusion 360 program in the form of three dimensions. The benefits of this devotional activity are the junior high school graduates can recognize and apply computer-based drawing techniques. Improving the skills of high school graduates especially skills in the field of Fusion 360 applications. The results of this activity are the participants can carry out all product design activities and declared to pass and are entitled to receive a certificate issued directly by the company that produces Autodesk Fusion 360 Software.

This research explores innovative learning models to ensure that Indonesian vocational high school graduates still have an excellent competency after being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. This research adopted the qualitative method by conducting content analysis. Based on the analysis, this study has discovered three innovative learning methods, namely [1] research-based learning; to enhance data literacy, [2] interactive multimedia-based learning; for increasing technological literacy, and [3] project-based learning; conducted to empower human literacy. The students’ capabilities to compete in the corporate world are better if they apply these three learning models. It would also reduce the risk of unemployment due to technological disruption during the pandemic and the increased population by acquiring these literacy skills. It is hoped that vocational high school graduates will be hired fast and able to take part in the corporate world and have the three new literacy skills as the principal capital in taking part in the corporate world. AbstractSeveral years of experience teaching PLPG training for teachers in the Ministry of Religion, especially Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, found the fact that "the teacher" as the essential instrument in the process of teaching and learning activities in the classroom is considered unattractive. Therefore, "teachers" are required to design PAI curriculum development and conduct contextual learning on PAI subjects, to be able to connect the material with real-life students. This study aims to explore the relationship between curriculum development and the improvement of PAI contextual learning. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with a multi-case design carried out at SMPN (Junior High School) 3 Rejoso Darul Ulum and MTsN (Islamic Junior High School) Tambak Beras Jombang. The results showed that; (1) the curriculum development approach commonly referred to and used in both institutions is academic and humanistic. While the technological approach is still unclear. (2) The use of additional PAI literature such as Jurisprudence and Arabic language development, by referring to Fath al-Qarib and Amsilah Tasrifiyah as a form of integration between the formal curriculum in schools and the boarding school curriculum. (3) Factually it can be stressed that the process of curriculum development can increase the contextually of active PAI learning in both educational institutions through the use of project-based learning strategies.AbstrakBeberapa tahun pengalaman mengajar pelatihan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Profesi Guru (PLPG) untuk guru di Kementrian Agama terutama guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), ditemukan fakta bahwa “guru” sebagai instrumen terpenting dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas dianggap tidak menarik. Oleh karenanya, “guru” dituntut untuk mendesain pengembangan kurikulum PAI dan melakukan pembelajaran kontekstual pada mata pelajaran PAI, sehingga mampu menghubungkan materi dengan kehidupan nyata siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi hubungan antara pengembangan kurikulum dengan peningkatan pembelajaran kontekstual PAI. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan rancangan multi-kasus yang dilaksanakan di SMPN 3 Rejoso Darul Ulum dan MTsN Tambak Beras Jombang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa; (1) Pendekatan pengembangan kurikulum yang biasa dirujuk dan digunakan pada kedua lembaga tersebut adalah pendekatan akademik dan humanistik. Sedangkan pendekatan teknologis masih belum jelas penggunaannya. (2) Penggunaan literatur tambahan PAI seperti Fikih dan pengembangan bahasa Arab, dengan merujuk kitab Fath al-Qarib dan kitab Amsilah Tasrifiyah sebagai bentuk integrasi antara kurikulum formal di sekolah dengan kurikulum pondok pesantren. (3) Secara faktual dapat ditegaskan bahwa proses pengembangan kurikulum dapat meningkatkan kontekstualitas pembelajaran PAI secara aktif pada kedua lembaga pendidikan tersebut melalui penggunaan strategi project based learning. The dynamics of several demographic indicators of Russia - child and teenage cohorts in 1970-2000, life expectancy in 1995-2000, migration flows among federal districts in the period between two censuses of 1989 and 2002 - are considered in the article. The author puts forward the hypothesis about the influence of these indicators on the level of education in narrow and broad senses - in educational institutions and the society as a whole. He estimates the perspectives of regional higher educational institutions under conditions of absence of plan distribution of graduates and the double cyclical fall in the number of high school graduates. The agenda for the development of a two-stage system of higher education corresponding with international integration processes is formulated.
