The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of human capital, social capital and motivation on work engagement and their effect on employee performance. Overall 120 respondents from PT. Pos Indonesia Central Jakarta Branch filled out the survey. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and structural equation model (SEM). The results show that employee performance, human capital, social capital and the motivation behind them all play a positive and significant role. Finally, work serves as a mediator for employee performance among human capital, social capital, and intrinsic incentives. This research can help managers and organizations identify and manage the quality of existing human resources, encourage employee engagement and thereby improve employee performance and achieve business goals.

PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia needs to possess quality and competent human resources in order to face the stiff competition with the continuous growth of similar companies. Human resources development in a company must be well performed and well planned, and one way to do so is by performing evaluations about employee engagement, empowerment, and organisational commitment so that employees’ performance can be improved continuously, which in turn will improve the employees’ prosperity and the company’s profit. The purpose of this research is to analyse the impact of employee engagement, empowerment, and organisational commitment on the employees of PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indonesia’s human resources division. The data analysis method utilised in this research is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method, which uses the SmartPLS software. The result of this research is that empowerment and organisational commitment have a significant and positive impact on employees’ performance. Furthermore, employee engagement and empowerment also have a significant and positive result on organisational commitment. Employee engagement does not have a significant impact on employee performance, but it has a positive impact on employee performance. It shows that employee engagement does not have a direct impact, but it has an indirect impact on employee performance through organisational commitment.

The aim of the study was to dissect the undeviating effects of work-life balance, training, and rewards on employee performance. These variables were identified based on the key outcomes of employee engagement performance. The methodology consists of a thorough literature review after which a model was framed for employee performance. A survey-based empirical study with 101 respondents working in the private sector was conducted using convenience sampling. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used to validate the model and to find the impact of work-life balance, training, and rewards on employee performance. Upon SEM analysis, the various factors to predict employee performance resulted in a significant (β = 0.726); (P < 0.001) that indicates that only the work-life balance factor is significant in predicting the dependent variable. However, the findings from this study showed training and rewards do not significantly affect the performance of the employee. The study implies that enhancing work-life balance results in employees having a healthy engagement with their work. Thereby his/ her performance also increases that contribute to the effectiveness of the organisation.

This study is focused to analyze the impact of servant leadership on employee performance in relation to the organizational commitment mediation. It is a causality research, providing an explanation and understanding about the impact of servant leadership on employee performance and the impact of servant leadership on organizational commitment. The sample of the research are 90 civil servants in Wangaya General Hospital as the respondents. In this study questionares are used as instuments of the research. Descriptive and inferential analysis were applied as method of analysis and Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) as a tool. The result is that servant leadership does not have any significant effect on employees performance, servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment has positive and significant effect on employee performance, and the impact on servant leadership and employee performance through the role of organizational commitment as mediating variable is supported.

This article aims to examine the relationships between external and internal social capital, managerial human capital, and managerial knowledge structures, respectively. It also examines the effect of managerial human capital and managerial knowledge structures on firm performance in the telecommunications sector in Jordan. A questionnaire was distributed to 250 managers in the telecommunications sector in Jordan. Utilizing structural equation modeling, it was found that external social capital has a positive significant effect on internal social capital and managerial human capital. Internal social capital has positively and significantly affected managerial knowledge structures. Furthermore, both managerial human capital and managerial knowledge structure had affected firm performance positively. As technology is expanding in this sector, relevant knowledge and information is becoming a source of competitive advantage, thus managers in this sector should build beneficial ties that might enhance human resources' capabilities that benefit the decision-making processes.

Organizational innovation is highly dependent on the inflow of relevant information and proper integration of this information in the operational processes for a process, product and service innovation. Employee engagement and social connectedness of employees have been cited as key methodologies of integrating new information from research and development and professional new hiring. The study investigated the impact of research and development and professional new hiring on organizational innovation jointly mediated by employee engagement and social connectedness. A structural equation model was adopted for the study. The estimator adopted in testing the hypothetical model and the hypothesis was a maximum likelihood. A comparative analysis of the single mediating and the joint mediating of employee engagement and social connectedness was conducted. The results indicated that professional new hiring and research and development activities have a statistically significant indirect effect on organizational innovation through a joint mediation of social connectedness and employee engagement. The threshold for the model fitness was satisfied. The study, based on the findings on both the decomposed and final model, concludes that employee engagement and social connectedness jointly influence the relationship between the research and development and professional new hiring on organizational innovation better than the single mediation.

This study investigates the effect of human capital and social capital on human resource performance, and the moderating effect of information technology. Based on a total sample of 88 respondents from the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Monitor Radio Frequency Spectrum Class I Semarang and Yogyakarta which is analyzed using structural equation modeling based smartPLS 3.0, the results indicated that 1) human capital is positively related to social capital and human resorce performance; 2) social capital is positively related to human resorce performance; 3) information technology moderates the relationships between social capital and human resorce performance; and 4) information technology moderates the relationships between human capital and human resource performance.Keywords: Human capital, Social capital, Information technology, Human resource performance

Employer branding is an intriguing junction of marketing and human resource management, where the positive intangible perception of the employer makes the organization a valuable. It is antecedents and outcomes have been tried and tested. However, there is a need to empirically test how employer branding lures the employees to perform well and to remain loyal to the employer. This study aimed to find the mediating impact of employee engagement between the relationships of employer branding and performance of the employees and their intention to stay in the companies. By using the structural equation model (SEM), the results revealed the full mediation role of employee engagement in between employer branding and employee performance and their intention to stay. Given the organizational positive outcomes of human resource development (HRD) practices like organizational effectiveness, sustainable competitive advantage, and organizational commitment, the current study was designed to detect the impact of HRD practices (employee training, employee empowerment, employee promotion) as independent variables on employee engagement and employee performance as dependent variables and to notify those who are interested. A quantitative descriptive-analytical method was adopted for the current research paper. Data were collected conveniently via a questionnaire from employees of family restaurants. Usable responses were analyzed using IBM SPSS and AMOS on the strength of structural equation modeling (SEM).The current data identified employee training, employee empowerment, and employee promotion as key predictors of both employee engagement and employee performance. Employee empowerment has the highest impact on employee engagement, followed by employee promotion, while employee training has the highest effect on employee performance. Furthermore, employee engagement is positively related to employee performance.

This study concerns the role of human capital, social capital, age, and gender in acquiring a job as an entry-level barista. Employment records were coded and analyzed in order to identify the key factors differentiating this applicant pool. The results from multivariate models produce fewer positive associations between human capital and social capital indicators than the literature suggests. Those with greater educational attainment are more likely to have high-status references on their applications. As seen in previous literature, the social capital of applicants is not very relevant in acquiring this entry-level job. Overall, educational attainment was most salient in increasing the odds of being interviewed and hired. The managers responsible for these decisions appear to favor formal higher education over work experience or references. The findings are discussed vis-à-vis women’s gains in higher education, the growth of the service sector, and the aging of the U.S. population.

These research was intend to discovered the mediate acts from employee engagement in influencing the affect of employee competence and innovative behaviour on Employees' performance at PT Tetra Pak Indonesia. These research population here used saturated sample from all service engineer employees, with a total sample of 76 service engineers. The data analysis method used Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM PLS). The research outcomes showed that innovative behaviour did not have an significant affect towards Employee performance. Competence had an positive impact in increasing the employee engagement and also this employee engagement could be able to motivate the Innovative behaviour and Employee performance
