The adoption of Corporate Governance in public administration companies has as focus on the beginning of organizational management, the seeking of best mechanisms to control and management itself and how to achieve good results in the provision of public services for clients and the society that uses these services. The term Information Technology Governance addresses the concern of managers to properly apply the available human and technological resources, making it possible to obtain better results in the provision of their information technology services in an efficient and transparent manner. This paper presents the results of a research that had as objective to identify relevant and priority actions in the implementation of best practices of Information Technology Services Governance in a public company, identifying the success factors in its implementation directing the analysis under the optic of people and processes. The method used was the application of a quantitative research with the results achieved through a case study that took place between the years of 2009 and 2014. The data obtained in this research reflect the employees perceptions about the implantation process and evidences that real experience obtained with the application of best corporate governance practices in public administration, the strengthening of its productive processes and, above all, the contribution that this dynamism and the improvement in the productive processes inductively impact on the improvement and quality of services provided in information technology by a public company to society.

The aim of this article is to analyze the challenges and success factors on organizations’ path to agile transformation, as frequently discussed in the literature and encountered in business practice. The research conducted proved that large-scale agile transformations require a dedicated approach with set of tools and best practices in place. The implementation challenges and barriers have been categorized into method-, organization-, culture- and technology-oriented groups. As a result of an in-depth analysis carried on for the purpose of this paper, a dedicated methodology of agile transformation has been proposed to ease the implementation process.

Recently, the use of information technology has become important and critical, for organizations, as it enhance the quality of products and integrity of organizational services. However, the implementation of such systems is still problematic. Due to globalization and the variation in the monetary, social and technological environments, Information Systems (IS) have turned out to be an imperative feature and high priority for different kind of organizations. In this regard, critical success factors play a vital role in successful implementation of IS. This paper evaluates and analyzes the critical success factors (CSFs) of IS implementation from the Saudi managers’ perspective in different industries in Saudi Arabia. This study will also present the illustration or identification of 19 critical success factors, which are based on a review of literatures and the first phase of a study in Saudi industries. The study will also rank those 19 factors in a logical way and will characterize them into three categories of factors, including organisational, human and technological factors.

Innovation, is a subject of considerable interest for entrepreneurs. In fact, it is a challenge for organizations to sustain innovation. In this chapter, we explore the factors that entrepreneurs should address to channel innovation in their organizations. Entrepreneurship, on the other hand, requires the funneling and implementation of creative ideas, leading to innovation. This chapter is particularly relevant to global managers seeking to identify inhibitors of creativity and business innovation and how to combat the roadblocks and create a sustainable innovation environment. The chapter discusses the three essential components that must be considered to spur innovation. We highlight the best practices associated with these factors through a case study of three organizations.
