The article is devoted to the topical issue of finding new effective and improving existing widespread compression methods in order to reduce computational complexity and improve the quality of image-renewable image compression images, is important for the introduction of cloud technologies. The article presents a problem To increase the efficiency of cloud storage, it is necessary to determine methods for reducing the information redundancy of digital images by fractal compression of video content, to make recommendations on the possibilities of applying these methods to solve various practical problems. The necessity of storing high-quality video information in new HDTV formats 2k, 4k, 8k in cloud storage to meet the existing needs of users has been substantiated. It is shown that when processing and transmitting high quality video information there is a problem of reducing the redundancy of video data (image compression) provided that the desired image quality is preserved, restored by the user. It has been shown that in cloud storage the emergence of such a problem is historically due to the contradiction between consumer requirements for image quality and the necessary volumes and ways to reduce redundancy of video data, which are transmitted over communication channels and processed in data center servers. The solution to this problem is traditionally rooted in the search for effective technologies for compressing, archiving and compressing video information. An analysis of video compression methods and digital video compression technology has been performed, which reduces the amount of data used to represent the video stream. Approaches to image compression in cloud storage under conditions of preservation or a slight reduction in the amount of data that provide the user with the specified quality of the restored image are shown. Classification of special compression methods without loss and with information loss is provided. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that it is advisable to use special methods of compression with loss of information to store high quality video information in the new formats HDTV 2k, 4k, 8k in cloud storage. The application of video image processing and their encoding and compression on the basis of fractal image compression is substantiated. Recommendations for the implementation of these methods are given.

High-Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) is a standard that has been developed by a collaboration of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) with Moving Picture Experts Group of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The standard, by and large, is achieving substantial spatial versatility and enhanced video compression. HEVC is a spatial coding method for video that reduces the size and number of images in it, allowing for great versatility. This allows for new benchmark for creating high-quality video encoders, as well as high-quality video streams while retaining lower bit rates. This article outlines the most recent video compression model identified as the H.26x family, including its most recent standard, H.265, also known as HEVC. In this work, we also propose the possibility of using nanotechnology to increase the efficiency of video compression process with very little loss. We also studied the possibility of using Spherical Piezo Acoustic Transducers instead of the traditional Context-based Adaptive Binary Arithmetic Coding. Finally, a nano-scale transducer was fabricated with a lossless infinite plate and a lossless waveguide, which has the ability to resist fracture due to a low von Mises stress along its surface.

<p class="Abstract">An efficient modified video compression HEVC technique based on high quality assessment saliency features presented for the assessment of high quality videos. To create an efficient saliency map we extract global temporal alignment component and robust spatial components. To obtain high quality saliency here, we combine spatial saliency features and temporal saliency features together for different macroblocks in association with transformed residuals. In this way, our saliency model outperforms all the existing techniques. In this paper, we have generated high reconstruction quality video after compression considering SFU dataset. Our experimental results outperforms all the existing techniques in terms of saliency map detection, PSNR and high-resolution quality.</p>

Abstract Background Effective education about endoscopic surgery (ES) is greatly needed for unskilled surgeons, especially at low-volume institutions, to maintain the safety of patients. We have tried to establish the remote educational system using videoconference system through the internet for education about ES to surgeons belonging to affiliate institutions. The aim of this manuscript was to report the potential to establish a comfortable remote educational system and to debate its advantages. Methods We established a local remote educational conference system by combining the use of a general web conferencing system and a synchronized remote video playback system with annotation function through a high-speed internet. Results During 2014–2019, we conducted 14 videoconferences to review and improve surgeons’ skills in performing ES at affiliated institutions. At these conferences, while an uncut video of ES that had been performed at one of the affiliated institutions was shown, the surgical procedure was discussed frankly, and expert surgeons advised improvements. The annotation system is useful for easy, prompt recognition among the audience regarding anatomical structures and procedures that are difficult to explain verbally. Conclusions This system is of low initial cost and offers easy participation and high-quality videos. It would therefore be a useful tool for regional ES education.

Situation awareness in surveillance systems benefits from high-quality video streaming service. This is even more important considering military systems, in which delays in image transmission may have a significant impact on the decision-making process. However, in order to deliver high-quality video streaming service, the required network infrastructure may be prohibitively complex, or even completely impossible to deploy, if mobile data providers are considered. Moreover, the demand for high network throughput poses extra requirements on the network. Considering this context, this paper addresses the problem of highly mobile networks composed of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as data providers of a military surveillance system. The proposed approach to tackle the problem is based on a Software Defined Networking (SDN) approach aiming at providing the best routes to deliver the data, enhancing the end-user quality of experience. An extensive experimental campaign was performed by means of simulations and the acquired results provide solid evidence of the usefulness of this proposal.
