Se aportan datos corológicos para 27 briófitos de las Islas Baleares. La mayoría de las citas de esta contribución corresponden a especies relativamente raras de áreas montañosas de las Islas Baleares (principalmente de Mallorca), para las cuales, la información sobre su distribución en el archipiélago es escasa y poco actualizada. Se cita por primera vez la presencia en el archipiélago balear de Hypnum resupinatum, Lewinskya fastigiata y Ptychostomum kunzei. Por otro lado, Epipterygium tozeri constituye novedad para Mallorca. Son destacables las nuevas localidades en Mallorca de Plagiochasma appendiculatum, una especie amenazada en Europa. Chorological data on 27 bryophytes from the Balearic Islands are presented. Most of the bryological records included in this contribution correspond to relatively rare species limited to mountain areas in the Balearic Islands (mainly in Mallorca), for which the information about their distribution in the archipelago is scarce and outdated. The presence within the Balearic archipelago of Hypnum resupinatum, Lewinskya fastigiata and Ptychostomum kunzei is reported for the first time. Additionally, Epipterygium tozeri is new record for Mallorca. Special mention deserves the new localities in Mallorca for Plagiochasma appendiculatum, an endangered species in Europe.

Background and Aims: Gustavia sessilis is a neotropical tree, belonging to the Lecythidaceae family, until now known from the Colombian Chocó region only. In this paper, we report G. sessilis for the first time for Central America. Methods: Central American specimens of G. sessilis were collected in 2019 from the Darién Province (eastern Panama). Plant identifications were confirmed by comparing collected specimens with those identified earlier and housed in the MO, PMA, SCZ and UCH herbaria. Type specimens were examined by consulting the JSTOR Global Plants database. The estimations of the conservation status were made based on the criteria of the IUCN.Key results: The record of G. sessilis for Central America is presented, based on a collection made from eastern Panama (Darién Province). Photographs, taxonomic comments, and conservation notes are provided. Additionally, a key for the Central American Gustavia species is included.Conclusions: The distribution of G. sessilis now ranges from Bahía Piñas, Darién Province, Panama to the Condoto river, Chocó region, Colombia, highlighting the importance of the Chocó Panama-Colombia region for the conservation of biodiversity, since it could act as a natural corridor for species. Taking into account the small number of records and the restricted natural range of this species, we recommend considering G. sessilis as an endangered species.

The new records of 94 species of noctuid moths (Noctuoidea) in the North-Western Pryazovia and adjacent regions of the steppe zone of Ukraine are presented. One species Dysgonia rogenhoferi is recorded in Ukraine for the first time. Founds of species Eublemma amasina and Caradrina expansa are the second in our country. One species (Eublemma amasina) in Dnipro Region, 2 (Ptilophora plumigera and Schargacucullia gozmanyi) — in Donetsk Region, 2 (Cerura erminea and Apamea unanimus) — in Odesa Region, 5 (Acantholipes regularis, Dysgonia rogenhoferi, Caradrina expansa, Luperina rubella, and Aporophyla canescens) — in Zaporizhzhya Region, 7 (Clostera anastomosis, Zanclognatha lunalis, Polyphaenis sericata, Protarchanara brevilinea, Aporophyla canescens, Lacanobia praedita, and Dichagyris forcipula) — in Kherson Region, and 10 (Clostera anastomosis, Cucullia argentina, Meganephria bimaculosa, Hoplodrina blanda, Sedina buettneri, Tiliacea aurago, Cosmia diffinis, Cosmia affinis, Aporophyla lutulenta and Xestia trifida) — in Mykolaiv Region are registered for the first time. In addition, new localities of a number of little-known, local and rare species in Ukraine or in its separate regions were discovered.

Upon review of the reference data and the author's herbarium specimens were recorded five species of the Skeletocutis genus in the Ukrainian Left Bank Forest Steppe. One species, S. brevispora, is a new record for Ukraine, another one, S. carneogrisea, was found for the first time in the Ukrainian Left Bank Forest Steppe. For other two species, S. nivea, S. subincarnata, new localities were found within the studied region.

Gonatopus mariae Martins, Lara, Perioto & Olmi, 2015, described from the state of São Paulo, is recorded for the first time in the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil, representing the first record of the genus and species from the state. The specimen was collected with a Malaise Dossel trap and deposited at the Entomological Collection of the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (Brazil). A diagnosis and illustration of this species are presented  demonstrating morphological variation of the type material. A distribution map is also provided. Gonatopus mariae is a rare species and its distribution is probably restricted to the southeastern region of Brazil.

Abstract Two species, Orthotrichia angustella (McLachlan, 1865) and Oxyethira tristella Klapálek, 1895, previously considered to be regionally extinct in the Czech Republic, are reported from the Dyje River (South Moravia) as new records for Moravia. Hydroptila martini Marshall, 1977 and Oxyethira falcata Morton, 1893 endangered species are for the first time recorded from Moravia (incl. Silesia). New faunistic data on rare species Hydroptila occulta (Eaton, 1873) and Hydroptila tineoides Dalman, 1819 are also provided.

The paper presents the data on new locations in forest communities of the Rostov Region of vascular plant spe-cies listed in the regional Red Data Book. More than 200 new localities were recorded for 42 species between 2008 and 2020. Matteucia struthiopteris is recorded for the first time in the Rostov Region. 22 species are rec-ommended for inclusion into the new edition of the Red Data Book of the Rostov Region.

The paper presents new data about the diversity of invertebrates associated with decomposed wood from the Plaiul Fagului Reserve. A total of 60 invertebrate species belonging to 45 genera, 20 families and two classes Collembola and Insecta (Coleoptera and Hymenoptera) were identified. A rare species - Carabus intricatus and C. ullrichi included in the third edition of the Red Book were highlighted. Four new species of Coleoptera are recorded for the first time for the reserve

A partir del estudio de muestras recolectadas y revisadas en el marco del Proyecto Flora Briofítica Ibérica (FBI), y el estudio briofítico que estamos realizando en la Sierra de las Nieves (Málaga) aportamos un total de 32 novedades corológicas provinciales para España y dos para Portugal. A destacar el hallazgo de Scorpidium scorpioides, una especie catalogada como amenazada en España, cuya distribución se extiende al alto valle del Ebro y dos nuevas localidades de Stegonia latifolia, una especie considerada como vulnerable. From the study of samples collected and reviewed under the Flora Briofítica Ibérica Project as well as the examination of bryophytes from Sierra de las Nieves (Málaga), we provide 32 new provincial records for Spain and two for Portugal. Special mention deserves the new Iberian locality for Scorpidium scorpioides, an endangered species in Spain, whose distribution range is extended to upper Ebro valley and two new localities for Stegonia latifolia, classified as vulnerable species in Spain.

Abstract Records of eight rare species of the families Psilidae (4), Piophilidae (1), Lauxaniidae (1), Cremifaniidae (1) and Sphaeroceridae (1) from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria are presented and their importance to the knowledge of the biodiversity of local faunas is discussed along with notes on their biology, distribution and identification. Psilidae: Chamaepsila tenebrica (Shatalkin, 1986) is a new addition to the West Palaearctic fauna (recorded from the Czech Republic and Slovakia); Ch. andreji (Shatalkin, 1991) and Ch. confusa Shatalkin & Merz, 2010 are recorded from the Czech Republic (both Bohemia and Moravia) and Ch. andreji also from Austria for the first time, and Ch. unilineata (Zetterstedt, 1847) is added to the fauna of Moravia. Also Homoneura lamellata (Becker, 1895) (Lauxaniidae) and Cremifania nigrocellulata Czerny, 1904 (Cremifaniidae) are first recorded from Moravia and Copromyza pseudostercoraria Papp, 1976 (Sphaeroceridae) is a new addition to faunas of both the Czech Republic (Moravia only) and Slovakia, and its record from Moravia represents a new northernmost limit of its distribution. Pseudoseps signata (Fallén, 1820) (Piophilidae), an endangered species in the Czech Republic, is reported from Bohemia for second time. Photographs of Chamaepsila tenebrica (male), Pseudoseps signata (living female), Homoneura lamellata (male), Cremifania lanceolata (male) and Copromyza pseudostercoraria (male) are presented to enable recognition of these species.

Dasypoda bees are host-specialized solitary species distributed in the Palaearctic Region. In the framework of a global revision of this genus, comprehensive descriptions of three rare species (D. tibialis Morawitz, D. vulpecula Lebedev and D. iberica Warncke) are presented. The detailed morphology of the D. tibialis male and both sexes of D. vulpecula are given for the first time after a very partial original description. The females of D. tibialis and D. iberica are described for the first time and additional morphological characters of the male of D. iberica are provided. The lectotype of Dasypoda tibialis is designated. Host-plants and new localities are also presented.
