Faults occurrence is inevitable in real world and a practical alternative approach is the reduction of fault consequences. Despite of this, the majority of buildings control systems do not have such mechanisms. Thus, this work proposes a procedure for the modeling of control systems for intelligent buildings which considers their functional specifications in normal operation, and in case of faults occurrence. The procedure adopts the concepts of discrete event system, holon, and Petri net and its extensions. It is presented some models derived from case studies, and mechanisms to fault-diagnosis, decision and reconfiguration.

In the paper the problem of the general information simulation of the building control intelligent systems from the point of view of abstract cybernetics is examined. There are represented some resonings about the state and the prospects for practice and scientific studies in the field of constructing Building Intelligence. There are examined the questions and the resonings, connected with the determination of the key concepts of the construction Building Intelligence: control of object (building), the stability of object (building), the homeostat of object (building).

The paper deals with structural-parametric models for describing dynamic processes of technical systems of an intelligent building. The task of searching for the transfer function of the synthesized elements and devices of its information-measuring and control systems based on the Mason method is formalized. The components of the transfer function are presented in the form of characteristic polynomials in the structural scheme of the energy-information model of the circuit. The results of a comparative analysis of search methods for multiple real and complex conjugate polynomial roots are presented. To organize their search, an iterative method of unconditional optimization of Fletcher-Reeves was chosen. This conjugate gradient method allows to solve the problem of numerical optimization in a finite number of steps and shows the best convergence in comparison with the methods of the fastest descent, with the same order of difficulty of performing the steps of the algorithm.

With the development and maturity of intelligent buildings, energy conservation become a trend, lighting control systems are becoming increasingly popular. At the same time with the rapid development of electronic technology, microcomputer as a subject and core for embedded control systems, instead of the traditional conventional electronic circuits of the control system, based on single chip microcomputer control system has been widely used in intelligent building. This text directs against the power consuming wasting phenomenon of public place, regard AT89C51 as the core, propose a measurement for Pyroelectric infrared sensor and light combination of intelligent lighting control system. By judgment on the light intensity and indoor if someone automatically switch lights, achieve the purpose of energy saving.
