Ferrocement is a highly versatile form of reinforced concrete made up of wire mesh, sand, water, and cement, which possesses unique qualities of strength and serviceability. It displays a series of advantages compared to reinforced concrete. Now a days ferrocement is widely used in engineering application due to high performance regards to the resistance to extension, resistance to impact, ductility. Numerous studies were conducted to understand the behaviour of ferrocement panels. This paper presents the review of studies conducted about the behaviour of ferrocement panel under static, dynamic, cyclic loading. Keywords- Ferrocement, cyclic loading, flexural behaviour, precast ferrocement wall, dynamic analysis, static analysis

Recent earthquakes have demonstrated that most of the reinforced concrete structures were severely damaged; the beam-column joints, being the lateral and vertical load resisting members in reinforced concrete structures, are particularly vulnerable to failures during earthquakes. The existing reinforced concrete beam-column joints are not designed as per code IS13920:1993. Investigation of high performance concrete (HPC) joints with conventional concrete (CC) joints (exterior beam-column) was performed by comparing various reinforcement detailing schemes. Ten specimens were considered in this investigation and the results were compared: four specimens with CC (with and without seismic detailing), four specimens with HPC (with and without seismic detailing), and two specimens with HPC at confinement joint. The test was conducted for lateral load displacement, hysteresis loop, load ratio, percent of initial stiffness versus displacement curve, total energy dissipation, strain in beam main bars, and crack pattern. The results reveal that HPC with seismic detailing will be better compared with other reinforcements details under cyclic loading and reverse cyclic loading.

In this paper, a simplified analysis procedure to calculate the column removed point displacement at progressive collapse analysis of reinforced concrete structures is proposed. The energy absorption capacity under the column missing event is used for formulations. The approximate method is simple to utilize, user friendly, yet accurate. For progressive collapse analysis of structures, linear static analysis, nonlinear static analysis, linear dynamic analysis and nonlinear dynamic analysis can be performed. In this paper, the nonlinear static analysis from alternate load path method is used and the reason of initial local collapse has not been considered. In fact, an energy-based method by using load-displacement curve of RC frame and considering the effect of floor slab for the progressive collapse analysis is considered. The accuracy of the proposed method is demonstrated by comparing the results to three experimental and analytical results. Finally, the effects of the spans length, sections dimensions, material properties and the beams reinforcements of column removed spans on substructure behavior is studied, as well.

Slurry Infiltrated Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SIFCON) is a relatively new high performance and advanced material and can be considered as a special type of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC). The hooked-end shape steel fiber assist in controlling the propagation of cracking in the matrix by improving the overall cracking resistance and by bridging across even smaller cracks. In this paper, the comparison between the steel fiber reinforcement and BRC wire mesh will obtain and also between the different thickness size. The steel fiber will use from different percentage based on volume frictions which are 0.5%, 1% and 2% with aspect ratio 67. The beam is tested for flexural strength. The relationship between loads versus deflection represented graphically. The highest flexural strength obtained in this research is 19.34 MPa with 2% volume friction of steel fiber.
