A new species of Rigiolepis (Ericaceae) from the island of Sulawesi, R. argentii Mustaqim & Ardi, is described. The new species is known from three locations, two in Sulawesi Selatan Province (Mount Sesean in Toraja Utara Regency and Eran Batu in Enrekang Regency) and one in Sulawesi Barat Province (Mamasa Regency). This species is similar to R. moultonii (Merr.) J.J. Sm., but differs by the persistent hairs on the abaxial surfaces of the leaves, the basal marginal glands in a shorter distance (1–2 mm) to from the petiole, bracteoles borne on the lower half of the pedicels, cup-shaped calyx tube, longer filaments (2 mm), and cupular fruits.

Stachys ahmet-savranii Doğu & Bağcı sp. nov. (Lamiaceae) from the Niğde (C5 Niğde, Turkey) is described and illustrated. It exhibits general features of the section Infrarosularis. It is closely related to Stachys citrina Boiss. & Heldr. but differs by its slender and unbranched stem; leaves structure; floral leaves equalling or longer than verticillasters; verticillester with 8 - 12 flowered and corolla 10 - 18 mm; Bracteoles reaching nearly middle of calyx tube. Diagnostic morphological characters are discussed. The geographical distribution of the new species is mapped. Notes are also presented on its ecology, biogeography and conservation status. Clerodendrum angustipetalum (Lamiaceae), an endemic species to Narathiwat province, southern Thailand, is described and illustrated as a species new to science. It is similar to C. nutans in having an elongate pendulous inflorescence, but   essentially differs in the thicker leaf texture (subcoriaceous vs membranaceous), the calyx tube being almost twice as long and the corolla lobes being half as broad. In addition, the new species has longer calyx lobes, corolla lobes and stamens.  The conservation status of this species is assessed as Critically Endangered (CR, B2a + b(ii, iii)+C2ai+D)  due to being known from a single locality with a small population of less than 50 individuals. A morphological comparison between similar species and an updated key to Clerodendrum species with pendulous inflorescences from southern Thailand is also presented.

Ludwigia venugopalanii , a new species of Ludwigia from Western Ghats, Kerala (Southwestern India), is described and illustrated. The new species Ludwigia venugopalanii is morphologically similar to L. palustris from which it differs by alternate phyllotaxy, length and pubescence of calyx tube, absence of bracteoles, shape of ovule and capsule morphology.

Isotrema sanyaense R.T.Li, X.X.Zhu & Z.W.Wang, sp. nov., a new species from Hainan island, China, is described and illustrated here. It is morphologically most similar to I. ledongense (Han Xu, Y.D.Li & H.J.Yang) X.X.Zhu, S.Liao & J.S.Ma and I. jianfenglingense (Han Xu, Y.D.Li & H.Q.Chen) X.X.Zhu, S.Liao & J.S.Ma in the shape of leaf, flower, and the yellow to brown villous indumentum of the pedicel, ovary and calyx. However, I. sanyaense can be easily distinguished from the latter two species by its 1–5-flowered cymes, in hanging clusters of 1 to numerous branches, upper calyx tube obviously longer than basal calyx tube, calyx limb discoid, yellow inside, with purple-red stripes and spots, about 13–18 mm in diameter, glabrous, and a throat dark red without spots, 4–6 mm wide.

A new species, Plectranthus sahyadricus is described from Munnar, southern Western Ghats, India. The species shows similarity with Plectranthus beddomei, in its stem and leaf characters but differs mainly by presence of a ring of hairs at young nodes, floral characters like cyme length, number of flowers per cyme, structure of the fruiting calyx tube, anterior corolla lip not fully opened and form an inverted dome over mouth, presence of hairs inside corolla tube and size of the disc. Detailed description, IUCN red list category and other relevant notes are provided.

This study was carried out to determine morphological, ecological and climatic properties of Melilotus officinalis (L.) Desr. and Melilotus alba Desr. taxa located natural vegetation within the Büyükyayla in Çankırı province Yapraklı district. According to the Grid system of Davis, the study area is on the A4 square and north of the Central Anatolia Region of Turkey. The climate of the study area was determined using Emberger method. Plant and soil samples were collected during the vegetation period of 2014 in the study area. Morphologically observed characters of plant height (cm), stipule (mm), racemic (cm), in the case of fruit when I racemic (cm), flowers (units), corollo (mm), wings (mm), keel (mm), standart ( mm), fruit (mm) stamen (single) (mm) stamen (united) (mm), calyx tube (mm), calyx teeth (mm), leaves (cm), petiole (cm), leaflet teeth (mm) it is demonstrated by this study. Some morphological characters of Melilotus officinalis (L.) Desr. taxa measures for plant height, corolla, fruit by Davis (1965-1988) compliance mark, the differences between my racemic have been identified. Melilotus alba Desr. taxa measures for racem, flower, corolla by Davis (1965-1988) compliance mark, the differences between my plant height have been identified. To determine the general ecological characteristics of taxa, soil samples taken from 0-30 cm, measured soil organic matter (TOM), texture, pH, bulk density (BD), electrical conductivity (EC) and the content of CaCO3%. The characteristics of the soils pH, CaCO3 and BD levels have varied between taxa. In this case, the same types of plants growing environment indicates that the request is different.

We describe and illustrate Behuria lumiarensis, a new species from the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It has been collected only once in montane vegetation in the Municipality of Nova Friburgo. The new species can be recognized by the combination of leaf blades with adaxial surface covered with sessile glands and abaxial surface moderately covered with stalked glands only on the veins, hypanthium sparsely covered with stalked glands, a large calyx tube with narrow sepals that are not apiculate in the apex, small petals, and glabrous ovary apex.

A new species, Hedysarum cuonanum (Fabaceae, Hedysareae), is described from the eastern Himalaya in China. This new species is similar to H. xizangense, but differs by its lanceolate or narrowly elliptic leaflet blade, ovate or lanceolate bracteole about half the length of calyx tube, acute or obtuse standard apex, and mucronate keel apex. It also resembles H. longigynophorum, but can be distinguished by its leaflet blade with 13–19 secondary veins on each side, abaxial calyx tooth about 1.5 times as long as the adaxial teeth, standard as long as keel, and elliptic or ovate loment article. Phylogenetic analyses based on the nuclear ITS, ETS sequences, and the plastid psbA-trnH, trnC-petN, petN-psbM sequences showed that H. cuonanum is sister to H. xizangense, and the H. cuonanum + H. xizangense clade is then sister to H. longigynophorum.
