In this paper, the flow of non-Newtonian blood fluid with nanoparticles inside a vessel with a porous wall in presence of a magnetic field have been investigated. This study aimed to investigate various parameters such as magnetic field and porosity on velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles. In this research, three different models (Vogel, Reynolds and Constant) for viscosity have been used as an innovation. The governing equations are solved by Akbari-Ganji's Method (AGM) analytical method and the Finite Element Method (FEM) is used to better represent the phenomena in the vessel. The results show that increasing the Gr number, porosity and negative pressure increase the blood velocity and increasing the magnetic field intensity decrease the blood velocity.

We present the mapping at fine spatial scale of aerosol optical properties using a mobile laboratory equipped with LIDAR (Light Detection And Ranging), sun photometer and in situ instruments for performing on-road measurements. The mobile campaign was conducted from 9 May to 19 May 2017 and had the main objective of mapping the distribution of pollutants in the Beijing and North China Plain (NCP) region. The highest AOD (Aerosol Optical Depth) at 440 nm of 1.34 and 1.9 were recorded during two heavy pollution episodes on 18 May and 19 May 2017, respectively. The lowest Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL) heights (0.5–1.5 km) were recorded during the heavy pollution events, correlating with the highest AOD and southern winds. The transport of desert dust from the Gobi Desert was captured during the mobile measurements, impacting Beijing during 9–13 May 2017. Exploring the NCP outside Beijing provided datasets for regions with scarce ground measurements and allowed the mapping of high aerosol concentrations when passing polluted cities in the NCP (Baoding, Tianjin and Tangshan) and along the Binhai New Area. For the first time, we provide mass concentration profiles from the synergy of LIDAR, sun photometer and in situ measurements. The case study along the Binhai New Area revealed mean extinction coefficients of 0.14 ± 0.10 km−1 at 532 nm and a mass concentration of 80 ± 62 μg/m3 in the PBL (<2 km). The highest extinction (0.56 km−1) and mass concentrations (404 μg/m3) were found in the industrial Binhai New Area. The PM10 and PM2.5 fractions of the total mass concentration profiles were separated using the columnar size distribution, derived from the sun photometer measurements. This study offers unique mobile datasets of the aerosol optical properties in the NCP for future applications, such as satellite validation and air quality studies.

The main aim of this investigation is to study thermo diffusion, heat source/sink, Joule and chemical effects on heat transfer in MHD mixed convection flow and mass transfer past an infinite vertical plate with ohmic heating and viscous dissipation have been studied. We consider the mixed convection flow of an incompressible and electrically conducting viscous fluid such that x* -axis is taken along the plate in upward direction and y* -axis is normal to it. A transverse constant magnetic field is applied i.e., in the direction of y*-axis. Approximate solutions have been derived for velocity, temperature, concentration profiles, skin friction, rate of heat transfer and rate of mass transfer using perturbation technique. The obtained results are discussed with the help of graphs to observe the effect of various parameters like Grashof number (Gr), the modified Grashof number (Gm), magnetic parameter (M), Permeability parameter(K), Prandtl number (Pr), Heat Sink(Q), Radiation Parameter (F), Soret parameter (S0), Eckert number (E),Schmidt number(Sc) and Chemical reaction parameter(K0) taking two cases viz. Fluid velocity, temperature and concentration profiles are comparison with Pr=0.71(Air) and Pr =7 (Water) various parameters in cooled and heated plates. Case I: when Gr > 0 (flow on cooled plate), and Case II: Gr < 0, (flow on heated plate). Both the fluid velocity and concentration rising with the increment values of Soret parameter in the fluids Air and Water and also discussed skin friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number in the fluid’s mercury, electrolytic solution, air and water. The novelty of this study is the consideration of simultaneous occurrence of radiation, heat absorption as well as thermo- diffusion in the magnetic field. It varies in several aspects such as non-dimensional parameters, analytical solutions, and graphical solutions, the analytic solution using the Perturbation technique, and numerical solution using Matlab software for the profile.
