This paper addresses a consensus problem for uncertain nonlinear multiagent systems with predefined precision under disturbance. By employing the neural networks method and backstepping technique, adaptive controllers for each agent are created. In contrast to the exiting global control methods for multiagent systems, global precision consensus control scheme is first put forward. Moreover, by using three n th-order continuous differentiable functions, adaptive tuning laws and virtual controllers and the real controller are designed. It is proved that the presented method can ensure that all signals are globally bounded and systems can be consistent with a given accuracy under disturbance. Finally, a practical simulation verifies the correctness for the devised control protocol.

Abstract This paper deals with the stabilization of DC/DC boost converter and the nonlinear phenomena elimination using a constrained Backstepping technique. Based on the converter averaged model, the pro- posed control approach is designed and the input to state stability concept is used to proof the system global stability. Furthermore, the structural stability is proven to show the efficiency of the proposed approach to suppress the nonlinear phenomena exhibited by the converter. The simulation results illustrate the different regions of stability of the system and the bifurcation diagrams are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach in terms of nonlinear phenomena suppression.

This paper announces a new three-dimensional chaotic jerk system with two saddle-focus equilibrium points and gives a dynamic analysis of the properties of the jerk system such as Lyapunov exponents, phase portraits, Kaplan-Yorke dimension and equilibrium points. By modifying the Genesio-Tesi jerk dynamics (1992), a new jerk system is derived in this research study. The new jerk model is equipped with multistability and dissipative chaos with two saddle-foci equilibrium points. By invoking backstepping technique, new results for synchronizing chaos between the proposed jerk models are successfully yielded. MultiSim software is used to implement a circuit model for the new jerk dynamics. A good qualitative agreement has been shown between the MATLAB simulations of the theoretical chaotic jerk model and the MultiSIM results

Abstract This work is devoted to a new contribution to the field of optimization and control of a wind energy conversion system (WECS). A Rooted Tree Optimisation (RTO) will be applied to the non-linear adaptive Backstepping technique to improve its robustness and performance. The non-linear Backstepping control was carried out to control the powers of the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) connected to the electrical network by two converters (network side and machine side). Initially, a review of the wind power system was presented. Then, an exhaustive explanation of the Backstepping technique based on the Lyapunov stability and the optimization method was reported. Subsequently, a validation on the Matlab & Simulink environment was carried out to test the performance and robustness of the proposed model. The last part of this work was dedicated to the experiment of the Backstepping adaptive algorithm on a test bench using the dSPACE-DS1104 card, to prove the performance of the system. The results obtained of this work either by follow-up or robustness tests or by experimental validation show a great improvement in terms of performance compared to other control techniques.
