AbstractLet X be a complex irreducible smooth projective curve, and let $${{\mathbb {L}}}$$ L be an algebraic line bundle on X with a nonzero section $$\sigma _0$$ σ 0 . Let $${\mathcal {M}}$$ M denote the moduli space of stable Hitchin pairs $$(E,\, \theta )$$ ( E , θ ) , where E is an algebraic vector bundle on X of fixed rank r and degree $$\delta $$ δ , and $$\theta \, \in \, H^0(X,\, {\mathcal {E}nd}(E)\otimes K_X\otimes {{\mathbb {L}}})$$ θ ∈ H 0 ( X , E n d ( E ) ⊗ K X ⊗ L ) . Associating to every stable Hitchin pair its spectral data, an isomorphism of $${\mathcal {M}}$$ M with a moduli space $${\mathcal {P}}$$ P of stable sheaves of pure dimension one on the total space of $$K_X\otimes {{\mathbb {L}}}$$ K X ⊗ L is obtained. Both the moduli spaces $${\mathcal {P}}$$ P and $${\mathcal {M}}$$ M are equipped with algebraic Poisson structures, which are constructed using $$\sigma _0$$ σ 0 . Here we prove that the above isomorphism between $${\mathcal {P}}$$ P and $${\mathcal {M}}$$ M preserves the Poisson structures.

Abstract The first part of this paper is a generalization of the Feix–Kaledin theorem on the existence of a hyperkähler metric on a neighborhood of the zero section of the cotangent bundle of a Kähler manifold. We show that the problem of constructing a hyperkähler structure on a neighborhood of a complex Lagrangian submanifold in a holomorphic symplectic manifold reduces to the existence of certain deformations of holomorphic symplectic structures. The Feix–Kaledin structure is recovered from the twisted cotangent bundle. We then show that every holomorphic symplectic groupoid over a compact holomorphic Poisson surface of Kähler type has a hyperkähler structure on a neighborhood of its identity section. More generally, we reduce the existence of a hyperkähler structure on a symplectic realization of a holomorphic Poisson manifold of any dimension to the existence of certain deformations of holomorphic Poisson structures adapted from Hitchin’s unobstructedness theorem.

We present a new look at the classification of real low-dimensional Lie algebras based on the notion of a linear bundle of Lie algebras. Belonging to a suitable family of Lie bundles entails the compatibility of the Lie–Poisson structures with the dual spaces of those algebras. This gives compatibility of bi-Hamiltonian structure on the space of upper triangular matrices and with a bundle at the algebra level. We will show that all three-dimensional Lie algebras belong to two of these families and four-dimensional Lie algebras can be divided in three of these families.

In this paper, we extend the AKSZ formulation of the Poisson sigma model to more general target spaces, and we develop the general theory of graded geometry for poly-symplectic and poly-Poisson structures. In particular, we prove a Schwarz-type theorem and transgression for graded poly-symplectic structures, recovering the action functional and the poly-symplectic structure of the reduced phase space of the poly-Poisson sigma model, from the AKSZ construction.

Abstract We extend the notion of Morita equivalence of Poisson manifolds to the setting of formal Poisson structures, that is, formal power series of bivector fields $\pi =\pi _0 + \lambda \pi _1 +\cdots $ satisfying the Poisson integrability condition $[\pi ,\pi ]=0$. Our main result gives a complete description of Morita equivalent formal Poisson structures deforming the zero structure ($\pi _0=0$) in terms of $B$-field transformations, relying on a general study of formal deformations of Poisson morphisms and dual pairs. Combined with previous work on Morita equivalence of star products [ 5], our results link the notions of Morita equivalence in Poisson geometry and noncommutative algebra via deformation quantization.
