Abstract The international economy was drastically changed by COVID-19. As the pandemic is causing similar problems in different jurisdictions, uniformized solutions are required to have more certainty in a global economy. This is an opportunity for the uniform regulation of international contracts such as the Unidroit Principles. The provisions of the Unidroit Principles, such as force majeure and hardship, may provide parties, adjudicators, and legislators with uniform solutions to common problems caused by the pandemic.

This chapter highlights the challenges presented by international politics. Much of what happens in British politics occurs because of Britain's relationship to the international stage. Relationships to other states, international bodies, and the international economy need to be managed by the UK's political leaders and foreign and defence bureaucracies, to manage how to deploy Britain's voice in international matters. Then there is the delegation of powers to international organizations and the making of treaties. The chapter specifically examines foreign policy and focuses on how functions are delegated to international organizations. It tells the story of the European Union (EU) as one of the most important international delegations culminating in the story of Brexit. This leads to a discussion of the UK's defence and security role. One key theme of the chapter is how success and failure in international politics feed back into domestic politics.

The article reveals the development of the hypothesis of rational expectations according to the theory of rational expectations (TRO), where economic entities in their forecasts make optimal use of all available information, including the assessment of government policy, to form an opinion on future developments. It turns out that expectations in the economy are very important. Rational expectations are those that can be systematically erroneous. They do not necessarily have to be performed exactly, but this is only because economic processes are subject to random fluctuations that do not depend on the actions of the state, or because the actions of the state in economic policy are unpredictable for economic agents.

Supermarkets are large retail stores operated on a self-service basis. They sell a range of goods from agricultural produce to electronics with tagged prices. They are coupled with numerous advantages like supporting advanced means of payment like cheques, credit cards, smart store electronic cards and mobile money, offering transportation incentives and discounts. The study aimed at coming up with an RFID-Based billing system through automation. The methods and materials used included document reviews, observational experiments, system design, implementation and testing based on current situations in the supermarket business. Findings showed that there are several weaknesses with the existing systems and the new system could ably uphold the time resource, efficiency improvement of both workers and customers, and it is secure, cost-effective, and time-saving especially from queues. The widely implemented system can improve the revenue gap and possibly rejuvenate the national or international economy to a large extent.
