The paper is devoted to a behavior investigation of the upper bound of deviation of functions from Zygmund classes from their biharmonic Poisson integrals. Systematic research in this direction was conducted by a number of Ukrainian as well as foreign scientists. But most of the known results relate to an estimation of deviations of functions from different classes from operators that were constructed based on triangular l-methods of the Fourier series summation (Fejer, Valle Poussin, Riesz, Rogozinsky, Steklov, Favard, etc.). Concerning the results relating to linear methods of the Fourier series summation, given by a set of functions of natural argument (Abel-Poisson, Gauss-Weierstrass, biharmonic and threeharmonic Poisson integrals), in this direction the progress was less notable. This may be due to the fact that the above-mentioned linear methods the Fourier series summation are solutions of corresponding integral and differential equations of elliptic type. And, therefore, they require more time-consuming calculations in order to obtain some estimates, that are suitable for a direct use for applied purposes. At the same time, in the present paper we investigate approximative characteristics of linear positive Poisson-type operators on Zygmund classes of functions. According to the well-known results by P.P. Korovkin, these positive linear operators realize the best asymptotic approximation of functions from Zygmund classes. Thus, the estimate obtained in this paper for the deviation of functions from Zygmund classes from their biharmonic Poisson integrals (the least studied and most valuable among all linear positive operators) is relevant from the viewpoint of applied mathematics.

"This note focuses on a sequence of linear positive operators of integral type in the sense of Kantorovich. The construction is based on a class of discrete operators representing a new variant of Jain operators. By our statements, we prove that the integral family turns out to be useful in approximating continuous signals de ned on unbounded intervals. The main tools in obtaining these results are moduli of smoothness of rst and second order, K-functional and Bohman- Korovkin criterion."

In this paper, we study Gupta type family of positive linear operators, which have a wide range of many well known linear positive operators e.g. Phillips, Baskakov-Durrmeyer, Baskakov-Sz\’{a}sz, Sz\’{a}sz-Beta, Lupa\c{s}-Beta, Lupa\c{s}-Sz\’{a}sz, genuine Bernstein-Durrmeyer, Link, P\u{a}lt\u{a}nea, Mihe\c{s}an-Durrmeyer, link Bernstein-Durrmeyer etc. We first establish direct results in terms of usual modulus of continuity having order 2 and Ditzian-Totik modulus of smoothness and then study quantitative Voronovkaya theorem for the weighted spaces of functions. Further, we establish Gr\“{u}ss-Voronovskaja type approximation theorem and also derive Gr\”{u}ss-Voronovskaja type asymptotic result in quantitative form.

The Grüss-Voronovskaya-type approximation results for the modified Gupta-Srivastava operators are considered. Moreover, the magnitude of differences of two linear positive operators defined on an unbounded interval has been estimated. Quantitative type results are established as we initially obtain the moments of generalized discrete operators and then estimate the difference of these operators with the Gupta-Srivastava operators.

AbstractIn this manuscript, linear and positive operators described on bounded and unbounded intervals that fix the function sets {1, φ} and {1, φ2} such that φ ∈ C[0, 1] are presented. Then we present different types of operators by choosing different functions and values. Finally, Voronovskaya type theorems are given for this newly defined sequences of linear and positive operators.

AbstractApproximation using linear positive operators is a well-studied research area. Many operators and their generalizations are investigated for their better approximation properties. In the present paper, we construct and investigate a variant of modified (p,q)-Baskakov operators, which reproduce the test function x^{2}. We have determined the order of approximation of the operators via K-functional and second order, the usual modulus of continuity, weighted and statistical approximation properties. In the end, some graphical results which depict the comparison with (p,q)-Baskakov operators are explained and a Voronovskaja type result is obtained.

The purpose of this paper is to find the best multiplier approximation of unbounded functions in    –space by using some discrete linear positive operators. Also we will estimate the degree of the best multiplier approximation in term of modulus of continuity and the averaged modulus.
