We describe a simple approach to enhance vision, which is impaired by close range obscuring and/or scattering structures. Such structures may be found on a dirty windscreen of a car, or by tree branches blocking the vision of objects behind. The main idea is to spatially modulate the obscuration, either by periodically moving the detector/eye or by letting the obscuration modulate itself, such as branches swinging in the wind. The approach has similarities to electronic lock-in techniques, where the feature of interest is modulated to enable it to be isolated from the strong perturbing background, but now, we modulate the background instead to isolate the static feature of interest. Thus, the approach can be denoted as “inverse lock-in-like spatial modulation”. We also apply a new digital imaging processing technique based on a combination of the Interframe Difference and Gaussian Mixture models for digital separation between the objects of interest and the background, and make connections to the Gestalt vision psychology field.

Due to the complexity of digital imaging targets and imaging conditions, fractal theory techniques in existing digital imaging systems still have various shortcomings. In this paper, a digital imaging processing method based on fractal theory is proposed for the first time. For X-ray images, the rapid calculation method of H-parameters is derived based on the fractional Brownian random field model. The H-parameters of X-ray images are calculated point by point. After that, all the singular points are connected, which is the edge of the defect in the image. We apply this method to analyze and process the X-ray images with defects such as missing joints, skins and hollows. Secondly, by means of fractal geometry, the contour slice measurement of the digital imaging space of this fractal is studied. The approximate index value is the digital imaging section profile dimension (D1 dimension) and the section shadow dimension (D2 dimension), so that the dimension determines the complexity of the form and detail of digital imaging. Finally, it can be seen from the experimental results that this method is effective and explores a new way for the development of digital imaging technology. At the same time, it is of great significance to the automatic pattern recognition of the application.

Kata Kunci: rekayasa visual, iklan cetak, crafting, digital imagingAbstractImage manipulation has developed rapidly in print advertising. Unlike the 80s to 90s, which still uses manual production techniques, include air brush spray techniques, cutting collages, double exposure photos and others, work processes of visual manipulationin the advertising industry today, has become a digital work pattern, known as digital imaging. Today’s print media comes with digital imaging processing various elements of letters, images or illustrations, photographs, shape accents, and coloring styles that create a variety of dynamic, imaginative, and feels a touch of technology. This study shows that in general the forms and patterns of work of this expertise include skills in using computer graphics devices, photographic abilities, and the ability to create creative visual concepts according to the objectivity of an advertisement. This study also found that in the advertising industry’s scope of work, Crafting in the work of visualization with the digitization process creates certain standards on digital imaging results, such as image quality that requires file management expertise for images, must be of particular concern in the design process, from the beginning of preparation, digital imaging processes and visual output. Keywords: Image manipulation, print ad, crafting, digital imaging

Taking as a point of departure the in-depth analysis and description of an exceptional discovery, consisting of a large hammered gold sheet decorated with embossed motifs from the well-known Chalcolithic settlement of Valencina de la Concepción (Seville, Spain), this article presents a general appraisal of the social and ideological role of gold in Copper Age Iberia. The information available for this find, including both its context and its inherent characteristics, opens up new perspectives for research into the technology, use, sociology and symbolism of gold during this time period. We describe and analyse this unique item in detail, including the characterization of the raw material used and the manufacturing process (via SEM-BSE and LA-ICP-MS), as well as an extensive reconstruction of the graphic motifs that are represented, by using digital imaging processing techniques (RTI). We compare this find with the data currently available for the (approximately) 100 Chalcolithic golden artefacts (or fragments of artefacts) found in Iberia to date. Finally, we present an appraisal of the social and ideological framework in which gold was used in Copper Age Iberia, discussing its relevance in aspects such as the dynamics of social complexity, worldviews or artistic creations.
