Micro-Meta App: an interactive tool for collecting microscopy metadata based on community specifications

For quality, interpretation, reproducibility and sharing value, microscopy images should be accompanied by detailed descriptions of the conditions that were used to produce them. Micro-Meta App is an intuitive, highly interoperable, open-source software tool that was developed in the context of the 4D Nucleome (4DN) consortium and is designed to facilitate the extraction and collection of relevant microscopy metadata as specified by the recent 4DN-BINA-OME tiered-system of Microscopy Metadata specifications. In addition to substantially lowering the burden of quality assurance, the visual nature of Micro-Meta App makes it particularly suited for training purposes.

Users’ health information sharing intention in strong ties social media: context of emerging markets

PurposeThis paper aims to theorize and examine how central cognition elaboration cue and peripheral cognition elaboration cue influence users’ health information sharing intention in Strong ties social media (STSM) in emerging markets.Design/methodology/approachThis paper innovatively proposes two concepts of health information emotion and health information sharing value based on the in-depth observation of users’ social health behavior. We integrate Elaboration Likelihood Model, Media Richness Theory, Trust Theory and Regulatory Focus Theory to develop hypotheses and research models and lay emphasis on the study of health information emotion’s moderating effect. This paper conducts an empirical study by selecting 372 health information users of WeChat, a typical STSM, to verify the research model by structural equation model.FindingsFor the central route, individual motivation and health information richness positively influence health information sharing value. For peripheral route, health information source trust and health information recipient trust both positively influence the health information sharing attitude. Health information sharing value and sharing attitude can positively affect users’ health information sharing intention. In addition, health information positive emotion has significant moderating effect, while health information negative emotion does not have.Originality/valueThis study contributes to a comprehensive perspective for understanding users’ health information sharing intention in STSM in emerging markets, an important but understudied topic. The results can also give implications for researchers to explore users’ behavioral intention from the perspective of process-oriented persuasion and health information emotion’s moderating effect.

MEMPERKUAT MODAL SOSIAL PEREMPUAN DALAM MENGHADAPI BENCANA

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat kapasitas perempuan dalam menghadapi bencana. Hal ini dikarenakan perempuan seringkali dikatagorikan sebagai kelompok rentan. Kerentanan-kerentanan tersebut, diantaranya disebabkan oleh faktor kultur dan struktur. Namun disisi yang lain, perempuan memiliki kapasitas yang besar dalam menghadapi bencana. Dengan menggunakan teori Modal Sosial dari Michael Woolcock, penelitian ini mengkaji jaringan kelompok perempuan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan mempunyai sebuah kapasitas jaringan yakni perempuan terintegrasi dalam kelompok-kelompok kerukunan seperti kelompok pengajian muslimat, kelompok PKK, Kelompok Arisan, dan kelompok pengajian yang lain. Melalui kelompok tersebut perempuan melakukan sharing value, berbagi informasi dan saling menguatkan satu sama lain. Keberadaan kelompok perempuan di masyarakat inilah yang merupakan suatu modal sosial yang seharusnya mampu menjadi media untuk mentransformasi pengetahuan perempuan khususnya pengetahuan kebencanaan. Kelompok perempuan mempunyai kapasitas dalam mengkoordinir anggotanya minimal seminggu sekali, kelompok perempuan ini pula mampu menggalang dana dari anggotanya baik dalam bentuk dana Kas dan dana arisan, selain itu kelompok perempuan mampu menjadi media untuk melakukan trauma healing terhadap anggotanya. Journalism Model Based on Blockchain with Sharing Space

The challenge that journalism is facing these days in the Internet mobile environment is greater than ever before. Journalism is losing its revenue structure to platform operators favoring a certain markets, and also the trust of its readers in light of fake news and infected news. To alleviate this situation, we propose a blockchain technology that is applicable to journalism in order to achieve decentralization as a reasonable alternative. The journalism model based on hybrid blockchain aims to achieve the following: the delivery of articles with sharing value, what we call proof of sharing; the distribution of roles of personalized agenda settings; and finally, the use of agora to collect public opinions. With all these, we attempt to resolve the issues with current journalism with our proposed model based on blockchain.

Analisis Kriteria Penetapan Nilai Bagi Hasil Pendanaan Dengan Menggunakan Teknik ANP (Studi Kasus Pada Bank JATIM Syariah)

The purpose of this study was to find out what is the main criteria in determining revenue sharing value of funding based on interdependence level of internal and external factors by using ANP techniques at Bank Jatim Syariah. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach with study case method. Data collected by interviews, questionnaires, documentation and other literature. Analysis technique used is the technique of Analytic Network Process (ANP) with weighting questionnaires given to the informant. Weighting is done through comparison between the criteria, sub-criteria and sub-criteria traffic. Results from this study are the criteria of internal factors with sub criteria bank revenue of 0.17416 become a major criterion in the decision-making on determination of revenue sharing value of Funding in Bank Jatim Syariah.
