A major criterion is the reduction of snags in the management of mobile money systems. The study was prompted by the ongoing problems with mobile money management. Previous research in underdeveloped nations concentrated mostly on technology algorithms for mobile money systems, with little attention paid to managerial issues. The research aims to reduce hiccups in the management of mobile money systems. A qualitative investigation was carried out, which was supported by activity theory and directed by an interpretative paradigm. The major data tools were semi-structured interviews and an internal document review. Expert purposive sampling was used, and data was thematically evaluated and themes were mapped onto activity theory nodes. The study's key findings included inadequate monitoring of mobile money agents, insufficient confidentiality and privacy in financial transactions, the use of general accounts for financial transactions, the use of generic guidelines and policies, third-party involvement in sensitive mobile money activities, and weak staff recruitment policies. The study's managerial implications include online customer registration, the implementation of online transaction monitoring, the online categorization of mobile money accounts, digital financial crime checks, digital validation of customer identities, and the continuous review and updating of mobile money guidelines.

Forests are important dynamic systems which are widely attracted by wild fires worldwide. Due to the complexity and non-linearity of the causative forest fire problems, employing sophisticated hybrid evolutionary algorithms is a logical task to achieve a reliable approximation of this environmental threats. This estimate will provide the outline of priority areas for preventing activities and allocation of fire fighters’ stations, seeking to minimize possible damages caused by fires. This study aims at prioritizing the forest fire risk of Wassa West district of Ghana. The study considered static causative factors such as Land use and land cover (which include forest, built-ups and settlement areas), slope, aspect, linear features (water bodies and roads) and dynamic causative factors such as wind speed, precipitation, and temperature were used. The methods employed include a Hybrid Grey Relativity Analysis (HGRA) and Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) techniques. The fuzzy sets integrated with AHP in a decision-making algorithm using geographic information system (GIS) was used to model the fire risk in the study area. FAHP and HGRA methods were used for estimating the importance (weights) of the effective factors in forest fire modelling. Based on their modelling methods, the expert ideas were used to express the relative importance and priority of the major criteria and sub-criteria in forest fire risk in the study area. The expert ideas were analyzed based on FAHP and HGRA. The major criteria models and fire risk model were presented based on these FAHP and HGRA weights. On the other hand, the spatial data of the sub criteria were provided and assembled in GIS environment to obtain the sub-criteria maps. Each sub-criterion map was converted to raster format and it was reclassified based on risks of its classes to fire occurrence. The maps of each major criterion were obtained by weighted overlay of its sub criteria maps considering to major criterion model in GIS environment. Finally, the map of fire risk was obtained by weighted overlay of major criteria maps considering to fire risk model in GIS. The results showed that the FAHP model showed superiority than HGRA in prioritizing forest fire risk of the study area in terms of statistical analysis with a standard deviation of 0.09277 m as compared to 0.1122 m respectively. The obtained fire risk map can be used as a decision support system for predicting of the future trends in the study area. The optimized structures of the proposed models could serve as a good alternative to traditional forest predictive models, and this can be a promisingly testament used for future planning and decision making in the proposed areas.

Prodrugs, with their capability of declining the adverse events and elevating the bioavailability of certain drugs, have captured enormous attention throughout the world since the 20th century. The versatility of the prodrugs that are inert and after administration releasing the parent moiety for the desired effect has become a major criterion for the scientists to incorporate this to alleviate the undesired effects of a conventional drug. About 10% of the prevailing drugs are prodrugs and their usage is being amplified owing to its critical application in cancer therapy, toxicity alleviation, and specificity. The purpose of this review is to understand the prodrugs, strategies incorporated in designing the prodrugs, applications, their crucial benefits in targeted action at a specific site of the body, their advantageous effects in chemotherapy. Also, to be acknowledged with the ongoing clinical trials and researches on prodrugs and some notable marketed prodrugs in a depth manner.

Infective endocarditis (IE) is associated with a high rate of mortality and morbidity in patients with anomalies of heart valves. We present a case of a 23-year-old male known to have severe mitral regurgitation (MR) with a history of prolonged fever for 5 months. According to The Modified Duke Criteria, clinical sign and symptoms fulfilled one major criterion (echocardiography finding of vegetation on mitral valve) and three minor (fever of at least 380 Celsius, valvular heart disease as a predisposing heart condition, and positive blood culture for Lactococcus sp. and Pediococcus sp.) considered as definite IE. Fever is one of the most common symptoms of IE (>90% of cases). Patient with prolonged fever and structural abnormality of heart valve should be considered for acute or subacute of IE. Establishing an diagnosis of IE and appropriate antibiotic therapy will improve the patient's clinical condition, and reduce morbidity and mortality.

AbstractDominant optic atrophy (DOA) is genetically heterogeneous and most commonly caused by mutations in OPA1. To distinguish between the classical OPA1-related and the recently identified SSBP1-related DOAs, the retina and fovea of 27 patients carrying the SSBP1 p.Arg38Gln variant were scrutinized using 20° × 20° macular cube and 30° and 55° field fundus autofluorescence photographs. Age of onset, visual acuity, retinal nerve fiber layer and macular thicknesses were recorded. Three SSBP1-patients were asymptomatic, 10 had isolated DOA, and 12 had a combined DOA plus foveopathy. The foveopathy, with a tiny defect of the ellipsoid and interdigitation lines, was similar in all patients, independent of age. There were no significant statistical differences in terms of visual acuity and SD-OCT measurements between patients with isolated DOA (mean visual acuity in decimals: 0.54 ± 0.41) and those with combined foveopathy (0.50 ± 0.23). Two patients over 50 years of age developed a progressive rod-cone dystrophy, leading to severe visual impairment. SSBP1-related DOA shares similarities with OPA1-related DOA with an incomplete penetrance and an early childhood visual impairment. Nevertheless, the presence of a congenital foveopathy with no impact on visual acuity is a major criterion to distinguish SSBP1 cases and orient the appropriate genetic analysis.

Objective: To assess the prevalence of risk factors for bleeding and high bleeding risk in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. Method: The single-centre retrospective observational study was conducted at ?? and comprised data of patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention from February 2018 to December 2019. Minor and major bleeding risk factors were identified on the basis of the consensus definition of the Academic Research Consortium. Patients with high bleeding risk were identified according to the consensus-based criteria of at least one major criterion or two minor criteria. Data was analysed using SPSS 20. Results: Of the 385 patients, 280(72.7%) were males. The overall mean age was 57.9+/-11.9 years. The indication of procedure was acute coronary syndrome in 367(95%) patients. Of all the patients, 171(45%) had bleeding risk, with 94(24%) patients having a high bleeding risk. Of these, 60(15.6%) patients had high risk based on the presence of at least one major criterion and 34(8.8%) patients because of the presence of two or more minor criteria. Patients with high bleeding risk were more likely to be older and female with more co-morbidities (p<0.05). Conclusion: Almost half of the patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention were found to have at least one bleeding risk factor, and one in four patients had high bleeding risk. Tourist discourse has been recognized as a specialized type of cross-cultural communication. Thus, successful translation of tourist texts assumes that translators act as cross-cultural mediators on a number of levels. The rather low quality of translation in the tourism sector has been pointed out by several Translation Studies scholars. However, not much systematic empirical research on the quality of translation in this sector has been carried out. This paper analyses a corpus of multilingual websites produced by Croatian tourist boards. In the analysis of the data I rely on the criteria for assessing translation quality of web translation developed by Pierini (2007), and place a special focus on the achievement of pragmatic level equivalence between source and target texts as a major criterion of successful cross-cultural communication in the translation of tourism discourse.

Purpose: In an ever-changing world, we all have one thing in our hands that is constant, a Mobile Phone. When we buy a Smart Phone, we do make sure we buy the best one that offers a combination of Good Hardware, Great Software, and also a price that we can put for the features offered. In that way, we cannot deny the fact that Xiaomi also called Mi or Redmi phones are some of the best market players we have seen. Even though people generally look only for the hardware features of the phone, it is inevitable to use an Operating System that will take advantage of the hardware features and also be user-friendly. Mi offers such one OS to its users in the form of MIUI, a modified version of the Android OS that normally comes in stock android-based phones. In this paper, we try to understand how Xiaomi as a company has made the OS a marketing strategy for them to popularize their product and become one of the best-selling mobile phones in China and India. Objectives: To understand the evolution and features that MIUI has to offer, to do a comparative study with its competitors and to provide suggestions to improve the company based on the analysis done. Design/Methodology/Approach: This company analysis was done by referring to multiple online sources, such as websites and blogs that guide and review products based on MIUI from Xiaomi. The analysis of the influence of UX in MIUI was done with a SWOC Analysis. Findings/Result: Based on the SWOC analysis of the company, keeping MIUI as a major criterion, the various opportunities and challenges that are there for Xiaomi are discussed. It is found that the company will be able to keep growing as long as it takes advantage of the current scenario and overcome its challenges.
