In this paper, robust finite-time consensus of a group of nonlinear multi-agent systems in the presence of communication time delays is considered. In particular, appropriate delay-dependent strategies which are less conservative are suggested. Sufficient conditions for finite-time consensus in the presence of deterministic and stochastic disturbances are presented. The communication delays don’t need to be time invariant, uniform, symmetric, or even known. The only required condition is that all delays satisfy a known upper bound. The consensus algorithm is appropriate for agents with partial access to neighbor agents’ signals. The Lyapunov–Razumikhin theorem for finite-time convergence is used to prove the results. Simulation results on a group of mobile robot manipulators as the agents of the system are presented.

This paper addresses the guaranteed cost leaderless consensus of delayed fractional-order (FO) multi-agent systems (FOMASs) with nonlinearities and uncertainties. A guaranteed cost function for FOMAS is proposed to simultaneously consider consensus performance and energy consumption. By employing the linear matrix inequality approach and the FO Razumikhin theorem, a delay-dependent and order-dependent consensus protocol is formulated for FOMASs with input delay. The proposed protocol not only guarantees the robust stability of the closed-loop system error but also ensures that the performance degradation caused by the system uncertainty is lesser than that obtained with other approaches. Two numerical examples are provided in order to verify the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed protocol.

<p>This paper explicates the Razumikhin-type uniform stability and a uniform asymptotic stability theorem for the conformable fractional system with delay. Based on a Razumikhin-Lyapunov functional and some inequalities, a delay-dependent asymptotic stability criterion is in the term of a linear matrix inequality (LMI) for the conformable fractional linear system with delay. Moreover, an application of our theorem is illustrated via a numerical example.</p>

This paper addresses the guaranteed cost control problem of a class of uncertain fractional-order (FO) delayed linear systems with norm-bounded time-varying parametric uncertainty. The study is focused on the design of state feedback controllers with delay such that the resulting closed-loop system is asymptotically stable and an adequate level of performance is also guaranteed. Stemming from the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach and the FO Razumikhin theorem, a delay- and order-dependent design method is proposed with guaranteed closed-loop stability and cost for admissible uncertainties. Examples illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract This work is mainly concerned with the exponential stability of time-changed stochastic functional differential equations with Markovian switching. By expanding the time-changed Itô formula and the Razumikhin theorem, we obtain the exponential stability results for the time-changed stochastic functional differential equations with Markovian switching. What’s more, we get many useful stability results by applying our new results to several important types of functional differential equations. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the main results.

This paper addresses a distributed consensus optimization problem of a first-order multiagent system with time-varying delay. A continuous-time distributed optimization algorithm is proposed. Different from most ways of solving distributed optimization problem, the Lyapunov-Razumikhin theorem is applied to the convergence analysis instead of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals with LMI conditions. A sufficient condition for the control parameters is obtained to make all the agents converge to the optimal solution of the system. Finally, an example is given to validate the effectiveness of our theoretical result.

This paper is concerned with the mean-square exponential stability analysis problem for a class of stochastic interval cellular neural networks with time-varying delay. By using the stochastic analysis approach, employing Lyapunov function and norm inequalities, several mean-square exponential stability criteria are established in terms of the formula and Razumikhin theorem to guarantee the stochastic interval delayed cellular neural networks to be mean-square exponential stable. Some recent results reported in the literatures are generalized. A kind of equivalent description for this stochastic interval cellular neural networks with time-varying delay is also given.

Synchronization of cellular neural networks with time-varying delay is discussed in this letter. Based on Razumikhin theorem, a guaranteed cost synchronous controller is given. Unlike Lyapunov-Krasovskii analysis process, there is no constraint on the change rate of time delay. The saturated terms emerging in the Razumikhin analysis are amplified by zoned discussion and maximax synthesis rather than by Lipschitz condition and vector inequality, which will bring more conservatism. Then the controller criterion is transformed from quadratic matrix inequality form into linear matrix inequality form, with the help of a sufficient and necessary transformation condition. The minimization of the guaranteed cost is studied, and a further criterion for getting the controller is presented. Finally, the guaranteed cost synchronous control and its corresponding minimization problem are illustrated with examples of chaotic time-varying delay cellular neural networks.
