The construction of a solar dryer-grain storage facilities is described. The design of a auger conveyor-distributor of grain for its loading is offered. The dependence of the width of the discharge opening in the casing of the auger conveyor-distributor on its length is obtained. The results of laboratory tests of the auger conveyor-distributor of grain are presented. It is established that the minimum initial width of the drain opening for wheat grain should be not less than 9 mm. The conditions of uniform distribution of grain by the auger conveyor-distributor are justified: the filling factor of the auger interturn space in its loading zone – 0.35; the length of the discharge opening of the charging hopper should be equal to the doubled value of the auger pitch size. In this case, the uneven distribution of grain along the discharge opening will be no more than 5%.

The aim of the study is to reduce the energy consumption of the blade mixer for bulk materials in regard to its de-sign parameters. Preparation of feed mixtures is carried out mainly by mixers of various designs, as well as extrud-ers and other auger equipment. Widespread horizontal mixers with blades mounted on a rotating shaft are wide-spread and used. They are distinguished by the ability to achieve the necessary smooth mixture within short oper-ating time. The main purpose of the proposed mixer is the preparation of dry mixtures of bulk feed components. The intended use of the mixer is the preparation of concentrated animal feed n agricultural production. In Samara SAA, the design of the blade mixer with screw blades was developed based on the literature review and analysis of the technological process of mixers. The mixer consists of a body with a horizontal shaft with radial trapezoidal screw blades. The proposed blades allow to direct forces in such a way that the total (resulting) projection of the resistant force of the material along the shaft will tend to zero due to the changing angle of the profile and width of the blades. At the same time, an axial force will be created at the edge of the blade at a certain radius, which facili-tates to unload mixer through the discharge opening. The expressions of specific energy consumption for mixing, as well as the work duration of the mixer cycle are given. An expression allowing estimation of an average flow rate of bulk material from the discharge opening of the mixer is obtained. It is established that the position of the gate regulating the area of the discharge opening can affect the volume of the portion simultaneously processed by the mixer, filling volume of mixer and the quality of the mixture.

In this paper, the authors consider dynamics of partitioned vibratory feeders with rubber elastic couplings. Use of vibratory feeders (including partitioned ones) and schemes for the ore vibrating drawing, feeding and loading in underground conditions allowed to mechanize one of the most time-consuming and dangerous processes of uranium ore mining and to solve the following problems: to improve effectiveness of the lumpy rock mass drawing and loading by 2.5-3 times; to increase intensity of mining operations and reduce life of the excavation blocks and horizons; to reduce labor intensity and cut cost of the process of ore drawing and loading; to improve uniformity of the rock-mass outflowing from the discharge opening and to reduce by 3-5 times frequency of the large-lump material freezing (use of partitioned feeders reduces number of freezes by 25-60 times); to increase size of commercial lump panels; practically to exclude traumas during the process of ore drawing and loading (usually, it presents 30-60 % of all traumas caused by the underground operations); to mechanize process of ore drawing and loading, and to create conditions for implementation of low-waste cyclic-and-continuous mining technology.

The characteristics of thrust for ship propulsion equipment directly driven by air compressed by pressure fluctuation in a blower piping system are investigated. The pressure in the piping system with a discharge opening under the surface of water is measured for the depth and the cross-sectional area of the discharge opening. An exhaust valve is positioned upon the air ejection hole, and the effects of the valve on the pressure in the pipes and the thrust for the propulsive nozzle were examined. The following results were obtained. The pressure fluctuation owing to the columnar resonance or Helmholtz resonance occurs at the certain specific depth or cross sectional area of the discharge opening. The pressure in the pipes decreases immediately after the exhaust valve was opened, and it increases just before the valve is closed. The dominant frequency of the pressure fluctuation in the pipes agrees with that of the opening-closing cycle for the exhaust valve. The thrust for the propulsive nozzle monotonically increases with increasing number of revolutions and depth. The interfacial wave in the nozzle appears in the frequency of approximately 4Hz, and it is important for the increase of the thrust to synchronize the opening-closing cycle for the exhaust valve with the generation frequency of the interfacial wave. The finite difference lattice Boltzmann method is helpful to investigate the characteristics of the flow in the nozzle.

In order to solve the problem of chain wearing elongation due to random assembly of roller chain sleeve crevice orientation, a novel roller chain sleeve crevice identification and orientation device is proposed. By means of force analysis of the identified sleeve, establish the shape and material parameter relation of drive driven sprocket and collet, to fulfill high-efficiency and high-accuracy roller chain assembly. The tested chain sleeve is 10B-1, two hundred sleeve crevice identification and orientation were tested 50 times. Every test average time is 182.3s and all the sleeve crevice out of the discharge opening is collinear. The rationality and practical applicability of roller chain sleeve crevice identification and orientation device design procedure is verified.

The way of dry-mixed mortar air-sliding has many advantages,such as improving transport efficiency, ensuring cement quality. But, dry-mixed mortar air-sliding may occur segregate, this phenomenon serious break the original ratio of cement, risking quality of cement[2]. This article suggested a new model of discharge opening with multi-holes, this model can allow dry-mixed mortar flow out at different height, and control the rate of flux in each port to keep mortar equally, this model eliminated the non uniforms caused by different height, eliminated the affection of segregate, ensure the quality of the cement.
