In this paper, the (3+1)-dimensional constant coefficient of Date–Jimbo–Kashiwara–Miwa (CCDJKM) equation is studied. All of the vector fields, infinitesimal generators, Lie symmetry reductions and different similarity reduction solutions are constructed. Due to the arbitrary functions in the infinitesimal generators, the (3+1)-dimensional CCDJKM equation can further be reduced to many (2+1)-dimensional partial differential equations. The explicit solutions of the similarity reduction equations, which include the quasi-periodic wave solution, the interaction solution between the periodic wave and a kink soliton and the trigonometric function solutions, are constructed with proper arbitrary function selection, and these new exact solutions are given out analytically and graphically.

Abstract We apply the Lie theory to determine the infinitesimal generators of the one-parameter point transformations which leave invariant the 3 + 1 Kudryashov–Sinelshchikov equation. We solve the classification problem of the one-dimensional optimal system, while we derive all the possible independent Lie invariants; that is, we determine all the independent similarity transformations which lead to different reductions. For an application, the results are applied to prove the existence of travel-wave solutions. Furthermore, the method of singularity analysis is applied where we show that the 3 + 1 Kudryashov–Sinelshchikov equation possess the Painlevé property and its solution can be written by using a Laurent expansion.

It is known that the classification of the Lie algebras is a classical problem. Due to Levi’s Theorem the question can be reduced to the classification of semi-simple and solvable Lie algebras. This paper is devoted to classify the Lie algebra generated by the Lie symmetry group of the Chazy equation. We also present explicitly the one parame-ter subgroup related to the infinitesimal generators of the Chazy symmetry group. Moreover the classification of the Lie algebra associated to the optimal system is investigated.

In this work, we investigated the invariance analysis of fractional-order Hirota-Satsoma coupled Korteveg-de-Vries (HSC-KdV) system of equations based on Riemann-Liouville (RL) derivatives. The Lie Symmetry analysis is considered to obtain infinitesimal generators; we reduced the system of coupled equations into nonlinear fractional ordinary differential equations (FODEs) with the help of Erdelyi’s-Kober (EK) fractional differential and integral operators. The reduced system of FODEs solved by means of the power series technique with its convergence. The conservation laws of the system constructed by Noether’s theorem.

We prove that composition semigroups are strongly continuous on weighted Bergman spaces with doubling weights. Point spectra and compact resolvent operators of infinitesimal generators of composition semigroups are characterized.

The logarithmic representation of infinitesimal generators is generalized to the cases when the evolution operator is unbounded. The generalized result is applicable to the representation of infinitesimal generators of unbounded evolution operators, where unboundedness of evolution operator is an essential ingredient of nonlinear analysis. In conclusion a general framework for the identification between the infinitesimal generators with evolution operators is established. A mathematical framework for such an identification is indispensable to the rigorous treatment of nonlinear transforms: e.g., transforms appearing in the theory of integrable systems.
