The increased demand for better accuracy and precision and wider data size has strained current the floating point system and motivated the development of the POSIT system. The POSIT system supports flexible formats and tapered precision and provides equivalent accuracy with fewer bits. This paper examines the POSIT and floating point systems, comparing the performance of 32-bit POSIT and 32-bit floating point systems using IIR notch filter implementation. Given that the bulk of the calculations in the filter are multiplication operations, an Enhanced Radix-4 Modified Booth Multiplier (ERMBM) is implemented to increase the calculation speed and efficiency. ERMBM enhances area, speed, power, and energy compared to the POSIT regular multiplier by 26.80%, 51.97%, 0.54%, and 52.22%, respectively, without affecting the accuracy. Moreover, the Taylor series technique is adopted to implement the division operation along with cosine arithmetic unit for POSIT numbers. After comparing POSIT with floating point, the accuracy of POSIT is 92.31%, which is better than floating point’s accuracy of 23.08%. Moreover, POSIT reduces area by 21.77% while increasing the delay. However, when the ERMBM is utilized instead of the POSIT regular multiplier in implementing the filter, POSIT outperforms floating point in all the performance metrics including area, speed, power, and energy by 35.68%, 20.66%, 31.49%, and 45.64%, respectively.

Abstract: Predicting Stock price of a company has been a challenge for analysts due to the fluctuations and its changing nature with respect to time. This paper attempts to predict the stock prices using Time series technique that proposes to observe various changes in a given variable with respect to time and is appropriate for making predictions in financial sector [1] as the stock prices are time variant. Keywords: Stock prices, Analysis, Fluctuations, Prediction, Time series, Time variant

In this paper, by means of the optimal control technique and power series technique,we introduce a new method, namely, the optimal control power series technique, bywhich one can obtain numerical solutions of the HIV infection model of CD4+T cells. The obtained approximate solution has shown good agreement with the experimentalresults and previous simulations using other methods.https://search.hthereadinghub.com/?uc=20180302&ad=appfocus1&source=d-lp0-bb9&uid=0d8983d2-5a26-4ec4-bba5-84ea234d1896&i_id=ebooks_100.7&page=newtab&

In this paper, we are presenting our work where the noninteger order partial differential equation is studied analytically and numerically using the noninteger power series technique, proposed to solve a noninteger differential equation. We are familiar with a coupled system of the nonlinear partial differential equation (NLPDE). Noninteger derivatives are considered in the Caputo operator. The fractional-order power series technique for finding the nonlinear fractional-order partial differential equation is found to be relatively simple in implementation with an application of the direct power series method. We obtained the solution of nonlinear dispersive equations which are used in electromagnetic and optics signal transformation. The proposed approach of using the noninteger power series technique appears to have a good chance of lowering the computational cost of solving such problems significantly. How to paradigm an initial representation plays an important role in the subsequent process, and a few examples are provided to clarify the initial solution collection.

The purposes of this research are of three folds: first, to closely look into whether there are significant differences in writing achievement; second, the learning motivation of students in writing; third, significant differences in writing achievement between the students with high-learning motivation taught using Picture series technique and those taught by using the conventional technique; and the significant differences in writing achievement between the students with low-learning motivation taught using Picture Series technique and those taught by using conventional technique. This research uses writing achievement test to assess the students’ score in writing. The writing achievement test was administered at the end of teaching learning process to obtain information on the effect of the treatment upon the students’ writing achievement. In this research, it was discovered that there was significant effect of picture series on writing competency as well as the effect of writing competency on high and low learning motivation students who were taught by using guided writing strategy and the conventional strategy.

In this work, we investigated the invariance analysis of fractional-order Hirota-Satsoma coupled Korteveg-de-Vries (HSC-KdV) system of equations based on Riemann-Liouville (RL) derivatives. The Lie Symmetry analysis is considered to obtain infinitesimal generators; we reduced the system of coupled equations into nonlinear fractional ordinary differential equations (FODEs) with the help of Erdelyi’s-Kober (EK) fractional differential and integral operators. The reduced system of FODEs solved by means of the power series technique with its convergence. The conservation laws of the system constructed by Noether’s theorem.

Regional finance has a pivotal role in regional autonomy because regional finance reflects the ability of regions in running the local government. One of the tools to analyze local government financial performance is ratio analysis. The purpose of this study was to determine how the regional financial performance of Sukoharjo Regency in terms of regional autonomy perspective. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The data used in this research is secondary in the form of financial report data Sukoharjo regency in 2015-2019 were obtained using the time series technique. The analysis results show that the financial performance of Sukoharjo regency is still not optimal. This is indicated by lack of ability to extract local revenue known from the low of DDF ratio, DOF ratio, Fiscal capacity and fiscal effort. Other than that, low independence ratio indicates that the regional dependence on central financial is still high.
