According to the needs of scientific research project research and development, the research of cooperative team excavation methods was carried out. Aiming at the current difficulties in accurately and reliably defining and identifying cooperative research teams from co-author network, an improved Louvain algorithm that integrates core node recognition was proposed: Louvain-LSCR algorithm. Based on the analysis of the Louvain algorithm, considering the local topology of the node in the network and the communication range of the node, a new algorithm LSCR for core node identification was constructed. The LSCR algorithm and Louvain algorithm were merged to obtain a new and improved algorithm, Louvain-LSCR. In this algorithm, the leaf nodes in phase 1 of Louvain algorithm were first pruned to reduce calculations; then, seed nodes were selected according to the LSCR algorithm in phase 2. The experimental results on related datasets show that LSCR algorithm has certain advantages in identifying core nodes. The modularity of Louvian-LSCR algorithm is better than other algorithms, and the community structure is more reasonable. It was verified that the algorithm can mine potential cooperative research teams in co-author network.

ABSTRACTThe formation of locule gel is not only an important developmental process in tomato but also a typical characteristic of berry fruit. In this study, we collected a tomato material that produces all-flesh fruits (AFF), whose locule tissue remains in a solid state during fruit development. We built genetic populations to fine map the causal gene of AFF trait, investigate the function of AFF gene, and identified it as the causal locus conferring the locule gel formation. We determined the causal mutation as a 416-bp deletion that occurred in the promoter region of AFF, which reduces the expression dosage of AFF. The 416-bp deleted sequence has a high level of conservation among closely related Solanaceae species, as well as in the tomato population. The activity of the 416-bp deletion in down-regulating gene expression was further verified by the relative activity in a luciferase experiment. Furthermore, with the BC6 NIL materials, we reveal that the reduced expression dosage of AFF does not impact the normal development of seeds, while produces non-liquefied locule tissue, which is distinct from that of the normal tomatoes in terms of metabolic components. Based on these findings, we propose that the AFF gene is the core node in locule tissue liquefaction, whose function cannot be compensated by its paralogs TAG1, TAGL1, or TAGL11. Our findings provide clues to investigate fruit type differentiation among Solanaceae crops, and also contributes to the breeding application of all flesh fruit tomatoes for the tomato processing industry. One Sentence SummaryThe sequence deletion that occurred in the cis-regulatory region of AFF—the core node of locule tissue liquefaction determined here—reduced its expression dosage, and produced all flesh fruit tomato.

Based on the perspective of innovation chain, this paper takes Highway 128 and Guang-Shen Science and Technology Innovation Corridor as examples to explore the construction mechanism of science and technology innovation corridor. The findings are as follows: First, the corridor can be regarded as a virtual organization containing core nodes and auxiliary nodes. All nodes are not equal, and the core node plays the core function. Second, if the function of the core node is weakened, the science and innovation corridor will show a deterioration trend. Third, the construction of the science and innovation corridor is a process of the whole science and innovation chain from the flow and integration of knowledge resources, to the overflow of innovation incubation, and then to the market application. However, there are still problems in the chain, such as resource flow obstacles, innovation incubation breaks and structural imbalance. Therefore, in order to realize the benign interaction of multiple subjects in the science and innovation corridor, there needs to be a core subject that plays the role of agglomeration and diffusion, so as to realize the coordinated development of the corridor.

AbstractIn rodents, innate and learned fear of predators depends on the medial hypothalamic defensive system, a conserved brain network that lies downstream of the amygdala and promotes avoidance via projections to the periaqueductal gray. Whether this network is involved in primate fear remains unknown. To address this, we provoked flight responses to a predator (moving snake) in the marmoset monkey under laboratory conditions. We combined c-Fos immunolabeling and anterograde/retrograde tracing to map the functional connectivity of the ventromedial hypothalamus, a core node in the medial hypothalamic defensive system. Our findings demonstrate that the ventromedial hypothalamus is recruited by predator exposure in primates and that anatomical connectivity of the rodent and primate medial hypothalamic defensive system are highly conserved.

We propose an overlapping community discovery algorithm that combines node influence and [Formula: see text]-connected neighbors for effectively detecting the overlapping community structure of complex networks. On the basis of the node influence and [Formula: see text]-connected neighbors, our method accurately detects the core node community and uses the improved similarity between the node and community to expand the core node community. Accordingly, the discovery and optimization of network overlapping communities are realized. Experiments on artificial and real-world networks demonstrate that our method significantly and consistently outperforms other comparison methods.
