A retórica é um método utilizado por autores para defender suas ideias e opiniões. É também um método para análise e estudo dos textos de ciência social aplicada, área caracterizada por debates e discussões. O objetivo do artigo é apresentar o potencial da análise retórica para a melhor compreensão da literatura sobre gestão organizacional e como método de ensino para preparação de bons gestores, atendendo às diretrizes curriculares do curso. A metodologia (compatível com o objetivo) é a do exercício teórico com texto seminal de Amitai Etzioni sobre a superioridade das organizações do terceiro setor comparativamente às organizações estatais no atendimento das demandas por bem-estar social. A análise retórica do artigo de Third Sector and Domestic Missions levou à desconstrução do texto, demostrando que a repercussão e importância do conceito de terceiro setor repousa em sua qualidade retórica, que aliada ao momento histórico, fez com que ETZIONI criasse uma ideia-força, que perdura até os dias atuais.

Representasi Masyarakat Aktif di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 (Studi Ekonomi dan Sosial Keberagamaan di Bausasran Danurejan Yogyakarta)

<p>The purpose of this study consists of two points. First, explore the responses and strategies of the Bausasran community in overcoming economic problems due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Second, reviewing the religious ritual protocol of the Bausasran community during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Collecting data was used two tecniques, that were observation and interview. Both of tecniques were did in accordance with health protocols in a pandemic situation.</p><p>Based on the results of research conducted, community of Bausasran Yogyakarta were able to overcome the problem of food security, especially for economically vulnerable groups due to the pandemic. A strategy was carried out through a food packets distribution movement. The distribution of food packets carried out by the community for residents who lost their source of income during the pandemic. The funds of food packets were obtained from compulsory contributions made by residents every month through the RT and RW management. Then in the socio-religious aspect, local leaders together with residents made worship protocols for worshipers at the mosque according to the appeal of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion. In addition, it eliminated crowd routine religious activities. Based on this, it can be concluded that the local initiation from the Bausasran community in Yogyakarta is a representation of the active society, described by Amitai Etzioni who utilizes three factors: knowledge, decision making, and power.</p>

As redes de inovação sob a premissa do comunitarismo: ambientes para geração tecnológica na universidade

Este trabalho apresenta um olhar sobre a criação de novas tecnologias, caracterizadas através da inovação tecnológica na atual sociedade do conhecimento, observando-se se tal alcance está alinhado aos preceitos fundamentais da teoria filosófica-política do comunitarismo responsivo. O comunitarismo destaca o equilíbrio entre o Estado-comunidade-mercado, como modelo alternativo a dicotomia público/privado. Trata-se de um estudo inicial, no qual parte-se do pressuposto que a inovação tecnológica é fruto de um processo de construção coletiva, e não decorrendo de iniciativas individuais. A base teórica do presente texto no que tange ao comunitarismo está inclinada às obras de Amitai Etzioni e o método é o bibliográfico.

Koncepcje responsywności jako odpowiedź na postulaty „uwrażliwienia” demokracji przedstawicielskiej

The author discusses two concepts of responsiveness in his paper: the concept of active society, developed by Amitai Etzioni, and the concept of responsive public administration by Mateusz Stêpieñ. The author finds both concepts potentially inspiring in the context of theoretical proposals to overcome some dysfunctions of representative democracy. The author of the paper also proposes to include the concepts of responsiveness in the framework of the so-called transformation trend of theories of democracy, which perceives politics as the transformation of individual preferences through rational discussion. The author observes a certain convergence between the concepts of responsiveness and the main assumptions of deliberative democracy (falling into the above transformation paradigm). Both concepts attempt at finding a ‘golden mean’ between liberal and republican visions of state community, while significantly ‘supplementing’ liberal democracy concepts, especially those where politics is reduced to a process of an auction of interests. Etzioni’s concept is more philosophically oriented and can serve as a theoretical foundation for more general considerations on the functioning of a democratic system and the relations between authorities and citizens. A more practically oriented concept of responsive administration can inspire the analyses of a desired model of self-government administration, whose role in the context of relations with the citizens of local communities is sometimes equal to that of local authorities.
