We introduce a new class of boundary value problems consisting of a q-variant system of Langevin-type nonlinear coupled fractional integro-difference equations and nonlocal multipoint boundary conditions. We make use of standard fixed-point theorems to derive the existence and uniqueness results for the given problem. Illustrative examples for the obtained results are also presented.

Let a particle start at some point in the unit interval I := [0, 1] and undergo Brownian motion in I until it hits one of the end points. At this instant the particle stays put for a finite holding time with an exponential distribution and then jumps back to a point inside I with a probability density μ0 or μ1 parametrized by the boundary point it was from. The process starts afresh. The same evolution repeats independently each time. Many probabilistic aspects of this diffusion process are investigated in the paper [10]. The authors in the cited paper call this process diffusion with holding and jumping (DHJ). Our simple aim in this paper is to analyze the eigenvalues of a nonlocal boundary problem arising from this process.

The nonlocal boundary value problem, dtρu(t)+Au(t)=f(t) (0<ρ<1, 0<t≤T), u(ξ)=αu(0)+φ (α is a constant and 0<ξ≤T), in an arbitrary separable Hilbert space H with the strongly positive selfadjoint operator A, is considered. The operator dt on the left hand side of the equation expresses either the Caputo derivative or the Riemann–Liouville derivative; naturally, in the case of the Riemann–Liouville derivatives, the nonlocal boundary condition should be slightly changed. Existence and uniqueness theorems for solutions of the problems under consideration are proved. The influence of the constant α on the existence of a solution to problems is investigated. Inequalities of coercivity type are obtained and it is shown that these inequalities differ depending on the considered type of fractional derivatives. The inverse problems of determining the right-hand side of the equation and the function φ in the boundary conditions are investigated.

The traditional curve equation solution method has a low accuracy, so the non-local boundary conditions are applied to the curve equation solution. Firstly, the solution coordinate system is established, and then the key parameters are determined to solve the curve equation. Finally, the curve equation is solved by combining the non-local boundary conditions. The experiment proves that the method of this design is more accurate than the traditional method in solving simple curve equation or complex curve equation.

Using Leray-Schauder degree theory we study the existence of at least one solution for the boundary value problem of the type\[\left\{\begin{array}{lll}(\varphi(u' ))' = f(t,u,u') & & \\u'(0)=u(0), \ u'(T)= bu'(0), & & \quad \quad \end{array}\right.\] where $\varphi: \mathbb{R}\rightarrow \mathbb{R}$ is a homeomorphism such that $\varphi(0)=0$, $f:\left[0, T\right]\times \mathbb{R} \times \mathbb{R}\rightarrow \mathbb{R} $ is a continuous function, $T$ a positive real number, and $b$ some non zero real number.

In this article, we study a nonlocal problem for a fourth-order equation in which the existence and uniqueness of a solution to this problem is proved. The solution is constructed explicitly in the form of a Fourier series; the absolute and uniform convergence of the obtained series and the possibility of term-by-term differentiation of the solution with respect to all variables are substantiated. A criterion for the unique solvability of the stated boundary value problem is established.

In this paper, we consider generalized Laplacian problems with nonlocal boundary conditions and a singular weight, which may not be integrable. The existence of two positive solutions to the given problem for parameter λ belonging to some open interval is shown. Our approach is based on the fixed point index theory.
