<p>In this paper, we introduce universal enveloping Hom-algebras of Hom-Poisson algebras. Some properties of universal enveloping Hom-algebras of regular Hom-Poisson algebras are discussed. Furthermore, in the involutive case, it is proved that the category of involutive Hom-Poisson modules over an involutive Hom-Poisson algebra $ A $ is equivalent to the category of involutive Hom-associative modules over its universal enveloping Hom-algebra $ U_{eh}(A) $.</p>

Abstract We study a deformation of a 2-graded Poisson algebra where the functions of the phase space variables are complemented by linear functions of parity odd velocities. The deformation is carried by a 2-form B-field and a bivector Π, that we consider as gauge fields of the geometric and non-geometric fluxes H, f, Q and R arising in the context of string theory compactification. The technique used to deform the Poisson brackets is widely known for the point particle interacting with a U(1) gauge field, but not in the case of non-abelian or higher spin fields. The construction is closely related to Generalized Geometry: with an element of the algebra that squares to zero, the graded symplectic picture is equivalent to an exact Courant algebroid over the generalized tangent bundle E ≅ TM ⊕ T∗M, and to its higher gauge theory. A particular idempotent graded canonical transformation is equivalent to the generalized metric. Focusing on the generalized differential geometry side we construct an action functional with the Ricci tensor of a connection on covectors, encoding the dynamics of a gravitational theory for a contravariant metric tensor and Q and R fluxes. We also extract a connection on vector fields and determine a non-symmetric metric gravity theory involving a metric and H-flux.

An admissible Poisson algebra (or briefly, an adm-Poisson algebra) gives an equivalent presentation with only one operation for a Poisson algebra. We establish a bialgebra theory for adm-Poisson algebras independently and systematically, including but beyond the corresponding results on Poisson bialgebras given in [27]. Explicitly, we introduce the notion of adm-Poisson bialgebras which are equivalent to Manin triples of adm-Poisson algebras as well as Poisson bialgebras. The direct correspondence between adm-Poisson bialgebras with one comultiplication and Poisson bialgebras with one cocommutative and one anti-cocommutative comultiplications generalizes and illustrates the polarization–depolarization process in the context of bialgebras. The study of a special class of adm-Poisson bialgebras which include the known coboundary Poisson bialgebras in [27] as a proper subclass in general, illustrating an advantage in terms of the presentation with one operation, leads to the introduction of adm-Poisson Yang–Baxter equation in an adm-Poisson algebra. It is an unexpected consequence that both the adm-Poisson Yang–Baxter equation and the associative Yang–Baxter equation have the same form and thus it motivates and simplifies the involved study from the study of the associative Yang–Baxter equation, which is another advantage in terms of the presentation with one operation. A skew-symmetric solution of adm-Poisson Yang–Baxter equation gives an adm-Poisson bialgebra. Finally, the notions of an [Formula: see text]-operator of an adm-Poisson algebra and a pre-adm-Poisson algebra are introduced to construct skew-symmetric solutions of adm-Poisson Yang–Baxter equation and hence adm-Poisson bialgebras. Note that a pre-adm-Poisson algebra gives an equivalent presentation for a pre-Poisson algebra introduced by Aguiar.

Abstract We construct a Poisson algebra of brane currents from a QP-manifold, and show their Poisson brackets take a universal geometric form. This generalises a result of Alekseev and Strobl on string currents and generalised geometry to include branes with worldvolume gauge fields, such as the D3 and M5. Our result yields a universal expression for the ’t Hooft anomaly that afflicts isometries in the presence of fluxes. We determine the current algebra in terms of (exceptional) generalised geometry, and show that the tensor hierarchy gives rise to a brane current hierarchy. Exceptional complex structures produce pairs of anomaly-free current subalgebras on the M5-brane worldvolume.

We investigate the Poisson algebras, in which the n-th hypercenter (center) has a finite codimension. It was established that, in this case, the Poisson algebra P includes a finite-dimensional ideal K such that P/K is nilpotent (Abelian). Moreover, if the n-th hypercenter of a Poisson algebra P over some field has a finite codimension, and if P does not contain zero divisors, then P is Abelian.

AbstractWe derive the $$2\hbox {d}$$ 2 d Zakharov–Mikhailov action from $$4\hbox {d}$$ 4 d Chern–Simons theory. This $$2\hbox {d}$$ 2 d action is known to produce as equations of motion the flatness condition of a large class of Lax connections of Zakharov–Shabat type, which includes an ultralocal variant of the principal chiral model as a special case. At the $$2\hbox {d}$$ 2 d level, we determine for the first time the covariant Poisson bracket r-matrix structure of the Zakharov–Shabat Lax connection, which is of rational type. The flatness condition is then derived as a covariant Hamilton equation. We obtain a remarkable formula for the covariant Hamiltonian in terms of the Lax connection which is the covariant analogue of the well-known formula “$$H={{\,\mathrm{Tr}\,}}L^2$$ H = Tr L 2 ”.
