Timely and accurate rice distribution information is needed to ensure the sustainable development of food production and food security. With its unique advantages, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) can monitor the rice distribution in tropical and subtropical areas under any type of weather condition. This study proposes an accurate rice extraction and mapping framework that can solve the issues of low sample production efficiency and fragmented rice plots when prior information on rice distribution is insufficient. The experiment was carried out using multitemporal Sentinel-1A Data in Zhanjiang, China. First, the temporal characteristic map was used for the visualization of rice distribution to improve the efficiency of rice sample production. Second, rice classification was carried out based on the BiLSTM-Attention model, which focuses on learning the key information of rice and non-rice in the backscattering coefficient curve and gives different types of attention to rice and non-rice features. Finally, the rice classification results were optimized based on the high-precision global land cover classification map. The experimental results showed that the classification accuracy of the proposed framework on the test dataset was 0.9351, the kappa coefficient was 0.8703, and the extracted plots maintained good integrity. Compared with the statistical data, the consistency reached 94.6%. Therefore, the framework proposed in this study can be used to extract rice distribution information accurately and efficiently.

The aim of this paper is to study fuzzy extensions of some covering properties defined by L. Kalantan as a modification of some kinds of paracompactness-type properties due to A.V.Arhangels'skii and studied later by other authors. In fact, we obtain that: if (X,T) is a topological space and A is a subset of X, then A is Lindelöf in (X,T) if and only if its characteristic map χ_{A} is a Lindelöf subset in (X,ω(T)). If (X,τ) is a fuzzy topological space, then, (X,τ) is fuzzy Lparacompact if and only if (X,ι(τ)) is L-paracompact, i.e. fuzzy L-paracompactness is a good extension of L-paracompactness. Fuzzy L₂-paracompactness is a good extension of L₂- paracompactness. Every fuzzy Hausdorff topological space (in the Srivastava, Lal and Srivastava' or in the Wagner and McLean' sense) which is fuzzy locally compact (in the Kudri and Wagner' sense) is fuzzy L₂-paracompact

Abstract The characteristic map for the symmetric group is an isomorphism relating the representation theory of the symmetric group to symmetric functions. An analogous isomorphism is constructed for the symmetric space of symplectic forms over a finite field, with the spherical functions being sent to Macdonald polynomials with parameters $(q,q^2)$. An analogue of parabolic induction is interpreted as a certain multiplication of symmetric functions. Applications are given to Schur positivity of skew Macdonald polynomials with parameters $(q,q^2)$ as well as combinatorial formulas for spherical function values.

In this paper, a new text detection algorithm that accurately locates picture text with complex backgrounds in natural images is applied. The approach is based primarily on the region-based convolutional neural network anchor system, which takes into account the unique features of the text area, compares it to other object detection tasks, and turns the text area detection task into an object sensing task. Thus, the proposed text to be observed directly in the neural network’s convolutional characteristic map, and it can simultaneously predict the text/non-text score of the proposal and the coordinates of each proposal in the image. Then, we proposed an algorithm for the construction of the text line, to increase the text detection model accuracy and consistency. We found that our text detection operates accurately, even in multiple language detection functions. We also discovered that it meets the 2012 and 2014 International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition thresholds of 0.86 F-measure and 0.78 F-measure, which clearly shows the consistency of our model. Our approach has been programmed and implemented using Python programming language 3.8.3 for Windows.

In this paper, an investigation is presented that demonstrates the application of a new approach for enabling the reduction of liquid slosh by implementing optimized motion profiles over a continuous range of operating speeds. Liquid slosh occurs in the packaging process of beverages. Starting by creating a dynamic process model, optimal control theory is applied for calculating optimal motion profiles that minimize residual vibration. Subsequently, the difficulty of operating speed dependency of the herewith synthesized motion profiles is examined. An approach in which the optimal motion profiles are consolidated into a characteristic map of motion specifications, which can be executed by a programmable logic controller in real time, is discussed. Eventually, the success of this novel approach is demonstrated by the comparison with state-of-the-art motion profiles and conventional motion implementation.
