We used incident reports to improve treatment planning in radiation oncology to advance patient safety. First, a cluster of related reports enabled discovery of communication issues for setup instructions stemming from a text box with a limited character size. A redesigned process used structured data and image formats to reduce the proportion of inaccurate setup instructions. An upward trend in inaccurate setup instructions identified that some rotating staff were unaware of which equipment to use. Implementing default disease site setups ensured that when a patient was to commence treatment for a specific disease site, it was known which immobilizing equipment should be utilized as the basis before customization. Second, inappropriate plans were identified for proactive improvement. The process resilience was enhanced with targeted validations of generated treatment plans. The automated checks incorporated data automatically pulled from the electronic health record. Useful methods included clustering reports into categories to proactively see patterns in reported issues, collaborating with clinical experts from different perspectives, surveillance monitoring to identify new risks as conditions change, improving communications across disciplines through health information technology, and increasing system resilience with targeted validation of known gaps and variation in plans. The implementation of ILS frameworks, careful review of events and categorization, which culminate with interventions targeting the most frequent or highest severity incidents reported, increased patient safety within our department.

Ulstrasonic has been popularly applied in more practical sectors, contributing to assess any issues, such as non-homogeneous, defects, without direct measures. One of these applications is for solid materials, such as rock. With the characteristics and abilities of ulstrasonic, as well as dimension stone characteristics, the author studied the applied ability of this wave in dimension stone quarrying. Particularly, this is determining joints in stone blocks before delivering to the processing plant. Basing on researching the character, size, rock mechanics of stone bocks and ulstrasonic features, its work capability, principle of None-Destructive Testing device (NDT), the paper shows that measure method by ulstrasonic could exactly and reliably estimate joints in stone block. From ulstrasonic feature of transfering around avoid instead of not transfering through it, the method is released to navigate position, size and shape of joints in stone blocks.

Many multifaceted images comprise observable text. If the occurrences of this text can be identified, segmented, and recognized automatically, they will be a prized source of high-level semantics; for retrieval and indexing. In this paper, we will propose a novel method for localizing and detecting text in complex images and video frames based on morphology. A morphological Gardient is generated by computing the variance between the dilation and the erosion image. Then the candidate of regions are connected via a morphological closing operation and every text areas are determined used the occurrence of text in each candidate. The identified text regions are localized perfectly via the projection of the text pixels in the morphological Gardient map. This method is sturdy to different position, character size, color and contrast. The updating of the text region between images is also used to minimize the processing time. Tests are realized on divers images to confirm the good efficient of our method

The paper deals with comparison constructions of the Turkish language on the base of works of fiction of Turkish writers of the 20th century. Reflecting figurative (simile) and non-figurative (correlation between qualitative and quantitative characteristics of two objects) collation of two or more objects comparisons in the Turkish language are examined from the lexico-semantic point of view and though their syntactic role in the sentence. Comparison remains a relevant and interesting topic of research despite the large number of works. It is a mean, a way of investigation and knowing of reality when unknown object is collated with the well-known one. Comparison may be represented as an act and a result at once. As the act of knowing reality comparison, represents such stages of exploration of the real world as identification of an object, its correlation with already known categories and groups of objects, definition of common features and juxtaposition of their intensity for further classification of the object explored. While resembling the result of act of cognition comparison demonstrates the degree of manifestation of a particular feature on a scale from complete identity to absolute difference. As an act of logical operation comparison consists of four elements, having different nominations in research works, they resemble object that is compared, object to which something is compared with, ground of comparison (some common feature for both objects) and result of comparison that describes identity, resemblance or distinctions between objects. Since logical operations of world’s investigation find reflection in language as a linguistic category comparison also has four elements in its structure. According to the lexico-semantic group of object and subject of comparison, Turkish comparisons may be divided on such groups as human-human, human-animal, nature-human. Comparisons are mostly used to express nature, human’s appearance or character, size of items, to make some estimation, to describe the way something is happening like or to resemble someone’s condition. Turkish works of fiction use both figurative comparison (simile) and non-figurative comparison. The syntactic role of comparison in a sentence depends on which member of the sentence the comparative part of the comparative construction belongs to. Mostly, comparisons act as attribute or adverbial modifier of manner, but also may act as predicate or grammatical object.

Theoretical—This paper shows a camera based assistive content perusing of item marks from articles to support outwardly tested individuals. Camera fills in as fundamental wellspring of info. To recognize the items, the client will move the article before camera and this moving item will be identified by Background Subtraction (BGS) Method. Content district will be naturally confined as Region of Interest (ROI). Content is extricated from ROI by consolidating both guideline based and learning based technique. A tale standard based content limitation calculation is utilized by recognizing geometric highlights like pixel esteem, shading force, character size and so forth and furthermore highlights like Gradient size, slope width and stroke width are found out utilizing SVM classifier and a model is worked to separate content and non-content area. This framework is coordinated with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extricate content and the separated content is given as a voice yield to the client. The framework is assessed utilizing ICDAR-2011 dataset which comprise of 509 common scene pictures with ground truth.

Automatic recognition of text characters on radiographic images based on computer vision would be a very useful step forward as it could improve and simplify the file handling of digitised radiographs. Text recognition in radiographic weld images is challenging since there is no uniform font or character size and each character may tilt in different directions and by different amounts. Deep learning approaches for text recognition have recently achieved breakthrough performance using convolutional neural networks (CNNs). CNNs can recognise normalised characters in different fonts. However, the tilt of a character still has a strong influence on the accuracy of recognition. In this paper, a new improved algorithm is proposed based on the Radon transform, which is very effective at character rectification. The improved algorithm increases the accuracy of character recognition from 86.25% to 98.48% in the current experiments. The CNN is used to recognise the rectified characters, which achieves good accuracy and improves character recognition in radiographic weld images. A CNN greatly improves the efficiency of digital scanning and filing of radiographic film. The method proposed in this paper is also compared with other methods that are commonly used in other fields and the results show that the proposed method is better than state-of-the-art methods.

Automatic license plate recognition system is mostly used for identification of vehicles. This system is used in traffic monitoring, parking management and identification of theft vehicles. As in India the license plate regulations are not strictly followed, it is often difficult to identify the plate with different font type and character size. One more major problem in license plate recognition is low quality of images which affected via severe illumination condition. In this paper, a Riesz fractional mathematical model is proposed for enhancing the edges, which results in improving the performance of text recognition. The text in the license plate is recognized using the convolution neural network and the results showed better accuracy.
